About: I truly care for each pet as if they were my own. I’m very patient, loving, and attentive to their routines and needs, making sure they feel safe and happy at all times. I also send regular updates and photos so you’re always at ease knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I currently work from 9 AM to 5 PM, but I’m flexible with my afternoons and evenings if a pet needs care or a walk. I’m also fully available on weekends for walks, drop-in visits, or in-home pet sitting. I’ll always make sure your pet’s needs fit naturally into my schedule so they get the attention and love they deserve. I live with a friendly dog from my housemates, so I’m used to giving love, attention, and regular walks. When caring for pets, I always follow their routine, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Schedule is a bit tight with clients, but i’ll always try to make room :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 3 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; separation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play, and dog walked for several clients. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens, and cat sat several times. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I am currently an undergrad studying animal psychology and medicine! I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷 I regularly update my calendar to show my availability, though i’m pretty flexible. Make sure to check there! Can’t wait to hear from you :) I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there, she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that, I am very free! Other than that, they will be taken great care of by me. In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for daily exercise. I also love to walk so if your dog also loves to, we will definitely be a great match! I have two dogs of my own that’ll keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 6 years old and the other one is 5 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy & safe here!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and animals my whole life - 31 years at this point. Ive had about 10 dogs throughout my life and have always helped with taking care of them. I’ve also helped train, walk, bathe, and groom dogs of friends and family. I am super comfortable with all types of dogs. I am very good at sensing animal behavior- sensing their body language and knowing how to alleviate any type of anxiety or reactivity, as well as working with them to build their confidence. I currently work part time locally, and part time at home so my availability is very flexible. I can be available at any time including weekends & holidays with notice. At home I have a nice size backyard that is fenced in with two dogs as well. I have a lot of toys to keep them entertained. At clients home I am very engaged. I can help with training and/or feeding your dogs, and whatever else may be needed. I have a very calm energy which is helps with building dogs’ trusts.

Over the years I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and personalities — Skye terriers, Scottish terriers, a Bernese mountain dog, and now my family’s two rescues: Choco (mixed breed) and Chip (giant schnauzer). I helped raise Choco from day one after her rescue during COVID, so I have plenty of experience with training, routine care, and giving pets a safe space to thrive. Along with my own pets, I’ve cared for neighbors’, friends’, and family members’ dogs and cats — walking, feeding, bathing, and even cooking home meals for them when needed. I also grew up with three cats (Munchie, Mickey, and Ago) so I’m comfortable providing gentle and attentive care to cats as well as dogs. Special skills: I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescues, and pets with different temperaments. I’m patient, consistent, and comfortable with a variety of routines and training needs. I’m a 24 years old and currently a Clinical Psychology PhD student at Adelphi University, so I just have classes Monday-Wednesday and the rest of the week is pretty open. I make sure pets get plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and walks. I’m available throughout the week for drop-ins, daycare at your home, and walks. I just ask for at least one day’s notice before confirming bookings. I currently do not board or do day care at my own house. I can provide potty breaks every 3-5 hours, and dogs are welcome to cuddle with me on the couch or even in bed if that’s what they’re used to at home. I believe pets should feel comfortable, loved, and secure so I adapt to their individual needs, whether that means structured walks, active play, or quiet snuggle time.
