About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play, and dog walked for several clients. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens, and cat sat several times. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I am currently an undergrad with the goals of becoming a veterinarian! I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷 I am a full time college student. I regularly update my calendar to show my availability. Make sure to check there! Can’t wait to hear from you :) I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

About: Hicksville/SOB Rd.& OCR... Home FULL TIME, Dogs are in a low stress enviroment. There is a bedroom on the main floor just for dogs who need not climb the stairs, and I will sleep with them too! My yard is fully fenced in a nice neighborhood for walks if requested. I do require a meet and greet prior to sitting your dog to make sure we are a match. Please bring your vet papers of vaccination. I'm home FT Drop off times-flexible Pick up times-Before 1:00 pm, after 1pm you will be charged an additional $25.00 for Boarding. My husband will stay with your dog if I have any errands to run. I will be with your pet as much as possible playing Fetch, Belly Rubs, Snuggling, or just looking out the window watching other doggies walk by or talking to the mailman! I know most of the dogs in my neighborhood from walking my son Mickey. Mickey is super friendly, and cuddly Puggle. He is 10 years old and unfortunately he has limited eye site. He shares, and loves doggies to visit. The reason I do this: I would love 2 dogs, but my husband says there's not enough room on our bed. So having sleep overs fills my need for a 2nd dog. Depending on the time of year along with the weather my husband will walk your dog With Mickey if requested. Bedtime is always on the first floor with me in our guest room,they can snuggle in bed with Mickey and I or curl up in a dog bed in the room. Snacks are given if you allow just bring your own. We have an in ground pool and will personally supervise your dog when the pool is open. If your pet swims, bring their swim vest! Again I do require all vaccines be up to date, and that you have a flea and tick preventive in use of your choice. Please bring that information during our Meet and Greet along with any needs for your fur baby and any questions you may have. Meet and Greet is in my home to assure we are a match allowing us to get acquainted for you to see our surroundings. They are free and can take 15-45 minutes. We will meet according to both our schedules. You can go away on your vacations, or quick day trips knowing your dog is in a happy loving environment. Bring what your dog needs to feel at home, leash, food, their bed/blanket (we have extra beds and dog dishes), favorite toy, or snacks. My house is small but our hearts are big❤️, we have room to make all our pets feel like they are home! I don't like to take more then 3 dogs at a time for sleep overs. That's just enough for me and my husband to stay cozy with your pet and mine. One at a time is preferred. I also administer medication both oral and injected for those needing.

I have always had cats and grew up with a dog, and I have adopted formerly feral cats as well as orphaned kittens and puppies, and I have fostered special needs animals. I lived on a small farm starting from the age of 5, so I have experience with various types of animals and love them all. I have taken care of puppies and kittens as well as older pets. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats- near and far- for a while now. I have experience with all kinds of dogs and cats- breeds and size combined. I am available for dog walking/sitting any time before 9 AM and after 5 PM on weekdays and any time on weekends! Just let me know a little in advanced and I will do my best to accommodate you. I have a fenced in backyard, as well as a pen for my puppy to keep him safe and happy. He enjoys running around outside in the backyard and I know he will be safe because it is fenced in.
