I’ve had pets all my life, currently having 2 dogs that are life( my handsome Gunner -he is a black lab that we rescued 2 years ago and my precious Zisu- French bulldog) both super friendly and love to play. I know is difficult to go on vacation or to work and be worried about your furry baby staying home, well don’t worry I am here to help and make your furry babies feel like home and give them all my time and attention. I stay at home during the day, so I am able to give full care and attention to your pets while they are here. I have a spacious fenced in yard for your pups to run around in. About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. About: I have had a pet since I was 6 years old. I started getting my own animals to take care of at the age of 12 and have loved it ever since. I do a lot of research when it comes to caring for animals because I want to give the best to mine. I currently have 5 dogs and 2 cats and had to stop myself from getting more because I love them so much 😊❤️ I will take care of your baby like they were my own. I also have experience taking care of a litter of puppies from birth. If I need to I have enough space where I can put my animals away in another area to take care of your pets. I currently work full time at home and get off of work at 4:30 but I have freedom to take my dogs out during breaks or if they need to go outside. My dogs are SPOILED 💖 they have 2 bins of toys and a bin of treats which they would love to share. My yard is fenced with plenty of space to roam and my dogs do get along with other dogs. If the dogs for any reason don’t get along, I can put my dogs away in a separate area.

I have adopted many pets in my life and have had the unfortunate pleasure of rescuing a few from terrible conditions, too. I know that all animals are different and have specific needs and personality traits and will treat your pet like I would my own. I am a stay at home pet owner and am generally available for any day of the week and open for drop ins during the day most hours Our home is pet friendly as we have a dog (Cocker Spaniel) of our own. Crockett loves having pals and knows all of the other dogs in our neighborhood from our walks. He has never had any issues with other animals. In fact, he love playing chase with our chicken Ruby. We take multiple daily walks, some include walks through the woods on the property we live on. When not out playing fetch or on a walk with Crockett, we enjoy sharing our couch or bed with our furry friends. We can provide other general care, such as administering meds, bathing, etc.

I know it used to be the worst for me to leave marley when we went out of state but knowing I can provide someone with peace of mind while they travel makes me very happy! No fenced yard unfortunately, but we live on a super quiet culdisac super quiet st. We walk on daily also we cuddle on the couch and in bed if my son needs to lay down for a nap if they are cuddlers or furniture sleepers haha theyll love it here! If it's a drop in visit at someone elses house of course their home rules apply and we could discuss that further when booked 😁

I am always an advocate for animal health and well being. I am currently a local full time pet sitter. I am available weekends, weekdays and holidays.
