Our sweet Golden loves Hope so much! She was amazing for Daycare services during our kitchen renovation, and now we take him once a week just so he can get some extra love during long work weeks! We highly recommend Hope and we know that our doggie is well taken care of and loved whenever he is there!

MT was amazing!! She sent us so many pictures and videos of my pup and was very communicative. We were visiting from out of town and it’s always hard to leave your baby somewhere new but I never had to worry when he was with her. Astro had so much fun with her and her dogs I don’t think he ever wanted to leave!

My dog is still a puppy and had never been to daycare or away from me for a long time before, so she was a little difficult. Denise was incredibly understanding and her house was beautiful! If I'm ever in Atlanta again I would definitely have her watch my dog.

Alannah H is absolutely wonderful with my fur child Yana. She treats Yana as if she is her own. I constantly get photos and communications regarding Yana. It is a relief to know that I found someone that I can just and someone that treats my fur child as if she was her own. Thank you Alannah!

About: I’ve had my own dog now for about 6 years. I’ve house-sat and dog sat on/off for the last ten years or so. I love animals so much and I will treat your pet like it is my own! I’m a teacher—I typically let my dog use the bathroom each morning in the back yard and then give him 1-2 walks when I get off ~3. I have a fenced in back yard and plenty of room for a crate if you want your dog crated while I’m away! At your home, I’m willing to field lm what your routine is!

Peggy is so conscientious and caring. Our dog has jumped fences in the past, so Peggy worked with us to make a plan to keep him safe during his stay. He has separation anxiety, and Peggy took so much care to distract him at drop-off and to calm him during his stay. She is super responsive and sent plenty of updates and pictures. We’re so happy to have connected with her. ☺️

About: I have fostered several dogs from PAWS Atlanta in my home & i'm a regular volunteer at that shelter. I love all the puppers but over the years I have specialized in caring for the seniors and the pittie mixes. I work from home full time with a lot of conference calls. My block is great for walking and there are several parks for longer walks near my home. I have a fenced-in backyard. I never give dogs people food, but i keep a wide variety of doggie treats. Dogs are not allowed on the human furniture but I have a lot of good size dog beds in my home.

About: I am located in beautiful Belvedere park with lots of outdoor green space. For active pups, I have a large fenced in yard and the location is great for daily walks in the neighborhood. My 12 year old pup Leo passed away 🌈 recently and it has been a comfort to have furry friends in the house to keep me company! Being a dog lover who travels frequently, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog. I will be sure to keep your dog well fed, active, and loved while you are away. If you would like, I would love to send you pictures of your precious pup while you are away so you can share in their fun! I would be happy to schedule a meet and greet with your dog before your time away to discuss any special needs or care that your dog may require! I work 100% of the time remotely and can take your dog out during the work day for a stroll or potty break, or give them some playtime in the backyard. I currently live in a house with a large privacy fenced backyard for dogs to roam around and get exercise. Whether we are playing fetch or tug of war, there is always something to keep your pup entertained.

About: Fun loving pet owner and pet lover living in Decatur, Georgia. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule. I own one dog and I’m an aunty to two others, as well as god parents to many other pets. Offering boarding and sitting in my comfortable, bright and pet friendly home. I grew up with many pets and I’ve always had a fondness for our furry friends. I’d say I have 30 years experience with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits. I’m more skilled with small to medium sized trained dogs. I have a backyard that pets can play in once leashed and I take all pets for walks in the neighborhood, weather and their ability permitted. Safety first always! Looking forward to hanging with some cool furry friends. I work from home and I have a little dog of my own so your pet is never alone and has a friend to lounge in the sun and eat treats with. I also have a large crate for if your dog requires crate time or if I have to briefly run an errand. My home is a soft space and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. I do have a ring camera and doors are always closed and locked for added safety. I always accompany my pet friends for leashed discoveries in my backyard and on neighborhood walks to greet the neighbors.

About: I am fully remote worker, so your dog has company all day long, no extended lonely hours. I currently care for my own senior Lab mix. Also cared for my diabetic senior Maltese for 15 years, so special needs are no problem. Your pup gets a part time home with me. Drop offs no earlier than 7am. Pickups no later than 9pm. I crate at night and when leaving the house for safety of all pets. Working from home grants me ability to care for my dog and others more closely, with more frequent potty breaks, and play time in fenced yard. I have a fenced in yard and several room spaces to separate if alone time needed, like sleep time or feeding. Your pup will spend days with me in my office while I work Monday-Friday. Other times in family room or yard.

About: I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I’ve also spent years helping friends, family, and neighbors with pet sitting, drop-ins, and walks. I’ve been a dog mom for the past 5 years, so I understand how important routine, attention, and trust are. I’m reliable, attentive, and focused on making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a private, fenced in back yard. I will also send a million pictures/videos if thats what you like (I know I do lol). I know how it feels to be away and missing my doggies so no judgement here. :) I currently have a very flexible schedule and am focusing on pet care full-time, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and overnight when needed. About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Candler-McAfee on Rover is $27.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,632 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Candler-McAfee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Candler-McAfee commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,632 sitters in Candler-McAfee, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
