About: I’ve had my own dog now for about 6 years. I’ve house-sat and dog sat on/off for the last ten years or so. I love animals so much and I will treat your pet like it is my own! I’m a teacher—I typically let my dog use the bathroom each morning in the back yard and then give him 1-2 walks when I get off ~3. I have a fenced in back yard and plenty of room for a crate if you want your dog crated while I’m away! At your home, I’m willing to field lm what your routine is!

About: I’ve been a vet tech for the past 13 years but after recently moving to Atlanta from Florida…instead of finding a local veterinarian to continue to work for, i decided to change things up. I’m now considered a stay-at-home mom…and I’m looking to establish myself locally as a highly experienced, dependable and loving caregiver for the Atlanta area pets💕🐈🐩💕 Every vet clinic I worked for has offered boarding so that’s always been a big part of my job description. I have always worked with senior dogs and cats (including having one of my own) so medicating and special needs is something I’m very comfortable with. I’m very experienced with diabetic animals and I feel confident checking blood glucose levels if necessary and giving insulin I also have high expectations for the care of my own dogs and would provide the love and attention that all pets need❤️ My overall love for animals and my vet tech experience makes for a great sitter!!🥰 I am currently considered a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is usually open and quite flexible.! I can make myself available for most morning, afternoon and evening drop-ins. I very much understand the importance of keeping your babies safe while being cared for! I am VERY careful to treat them as one of my own while under my care🥰 I know that I’m new to Rover but I am certainly not new to the pet care world. About: I have fostered several dogs from PAWS Atlanta in my home & i'm a regular volunteer at that shelter. I love all the puppers but over the years I have specialized in caring for the seniors and the pittie mixes. I work from home full time with a lot of conference calls. My block is great for walking and there are several parks for longer walks near my home. I have a fenced-in backyard. I never give dogs people food, but i keep a wide variety of doggie treats. Dogs are not allowed on the human furniture but I have a lot of good size dog beds in my home.

About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

For boarding, pets have access to a securely fenced yard for supervised play, enrichment, and frequent potty breaks. I have three friendly rescue dogs, but visiting pets are never left with them unsupervised. Pets are separated during meals, when I leave the house, or anytime they need their own quiet space. A meet and greet is required before boarding so we can confirm that everyone feels comfortable and the environment is a good fit. Dogs who prefer their own space can still enjoy walks, enrichment, outdoor time, and plenty of one-on-one attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, play, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. About: I am located in beautiful Belvedere park with lots of outdoor green space. For active pups, I have a large fenced in yard and the location is great for daily walks in the neighborhood. My 12 year old pup Leo passed away 🌈 recently and it has been a comfort to have furry friends in the house to keep me company!
