About: I have been caring for cats and dogs for over 28 years. My experience extends to fish, hamsters and lizards as well. I administered medicine as requested/needed, change cat litter, clean up vomit, and give all the basic care as well. I am a substitute teacher, so I have the flexibility needed to care for pets. I have a family that works to together to care for our pets so I have time to schedule drop ins and walk in and occasional overnights. My dogs are fed twice a day. My German Shepherd, Husky, Belgian Malinois and I play in our large yard and I take time to train them. I have a large yard my dogs freely play fetch and run in. I walk my dogs on my road, go hiking, walk local trails and take them to dog parks to play with other pups. Depending on the space at my clients home I either care for them in their neighborhood or I go to local parks for walks. Also depending on my client I take their dog for a car adventure to get a pup cup or visit Petco to pick out a toy and I always use a dog seatbelt. We have so much fun together.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of various kinds since I was 10. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and play with their pets. Currently I work on a 10 month contract. Therefore I have summer off so I have plenty of time to provide pet care to those in need of such services. I am a very trustworthy person who has tremendous respect for other people’s property and belongings. I especially respect pets with their needs and desires.

About: I love working with animals, I can help train dogs and I like to play with them and take them on walks. I also can help train cats/kittens if needed too. I am able to help 3-4 times a week throughout the day. Monday to Thursday would work best to walk dogs or stop in to play with them and feed them. I can care for pets at clients homes, I have reliable transportation. I am able to feed pets, play with them walk them and socialize if needed to.

“I recommend Christian without reservation. He is extremely responsible, professional, and responsive...and most importantly kind and attentive to the needs and sensitivities of my dog. He is exceptional, and I will continue to trust him with my dog for weekly walks and more!”

About: I have been an animal caregiver for more than 20 years and have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep and birds. In addition to having a lot of experience, I can offer basic training for dogs and horses including positive reinforcement and natural horsemanship (i. e. Parelli games and round penning). I am also comfortable riding English and Western styles. I also have a lot of knowledge and experience taking care of cats and have managed to tame some feral ones into being adopted into loving homes. Besides taking care of animals, I have also taken care of large estates as well as farms and private residences in the Boston and Los Angeles areas, as well as internationally in Italy, Uruguay and Argentina. High values are important to me and giving peace of mind with responsibility and reliability is something I strive for. I have recently relocated to the Western NYS area to be closer to family and am happy to be at your service. *PLEASE NOTE THAT EXTRA CHARGES MAY APPLY TO YOUR BOOKING - properties more than 15 miles away or require dog transport will be charged NY state mileage charges. - Dog transport in my vehicle (for walks or any other reason) will incur car cleaning fees. Dogs that have even one tick or flea found on them will be charged a detail job (currently $150) - Dog baths for any reason...especially a tick/flea bath $50/dog - Rover includes 1/2 hour walk/day, I offer 1 hour per day. Anything over that will be charged $25/hour. - Clients with strict rules such as only allowed to leave for an hour or only allowed to leave the house 1x/day, anything where I am not allowed to go to the gym or make appointments etc will be charged double the daily price. (about $120/day which is minimum wage for 8 hours) I am fine to relinquish my entire life for a short time, but it must be compensated. - Rover does not insure horses or other farm animals, so this care must be paid to me directly or if kept on the app will have to be charged more as a large percentage goes to Rover with no return of protection or benefit. -I am available to exercise horses (round pen or riding) I include 1 hour for free. Thank you for your understanding. ADDITIONAL INFO During our initial "Meet and Greet" I now require to see the entire home before I am booked. I will not stay in places that have... -occultic shrines or alters (especially in bedrooms) -Filth and squalor. I am not a neat freak by any stretch but the house must be basically clean. If there are weeks, months, years of dust and dirt, urine and poo from animals or people, garbage left in places or surfaces (bedroom, bath, living room and kitchen) not basically wiped down, then I can not accept the booking. Thank you for your understanding. I am a freelance writer which allows myself to be available to your pets a lot of the time. I do not do boarding at this time and prefer to stay where the animal is most comfortable. I believe dogs need more time and attention so I am not comfortable crating a dog for a long period of time. I believe that exercise, attention and training cure 90% of pet issues, so I do not like animals to be alone too long especially since they me be a little anxious with their families away. I also have no issues doing horse care or caring for other farm animals.

About: I’ve got a girlfriend who can’t sit still so trust me going on walks is my specialty. Jokes aside I’ve never met an animal I didn’t immediately love, I have 1 cat and have always had one animal in my house at any given point in my life. I work a full time job, and I’m looking for animals to balance the work / life schedule. I’d really love to be a rover sitter DAILY. Taking care of an animal involves providing essential care and attention to ensure its well-being. This includes offering suitable shelter, providing a balanced diet with access to fresh water. It's important to meet the animal's exercise needs, provide social interaction and companionship, and maintain their hygiene through grooming. Creating a safe environment, training your pet, and offering love and attention are crucial for their happiness. tailoring my care routine is key to ensuring a happy and healthy friend.

About: My name is Grace, and animals have always been a significant part of my life. I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by cows, chickens, and sheep, and my mother bred Australian Shepherds, which sparked my passion for animals. I have over a year of experience working in dog grooming and have worked with both cats and dogs of various sizes. I am currently a student at flcc and I don’t have school on Tuesday or Thursday and I am available for weekends so that gives me plenty of time to play and take care of your pets! I take into account all that a client may ask of me I understand that it takes trust to have someone care for your pet like that. A pet is a valued family member and they should be treated as such!

You feel very confident leaving your pet in her care as she gives them so much love and affection, keeping them happy and well cared for until you get home. She is great at what she does and takes care of all your pets needs and much much more. Everytime i leave my dog, Theo, with her when i leave town he gets so excited and is jumping up and down when he sees her. She keeps you updated the whole time, making sure you feel included in their stay and how they are doing. She takes him on lots of walks, buys cute little toys for him to play with at her place, has plenty of treats for him, and keeps him well groomed for me when I get back. I won't use anyone else when I have to leave town for a trip or business as my dog absolutely loves her! Leaving your pets in her care is like leaving them with a friend or family member as she gives them so much love and attention. I am very pleased with her work and highly recommend her!”
