About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

“Carol was absolutely incredible. My little dog Munchkin is a momma’s boy who really struggles being away from me. But with Carol he settled in and was eating, playing, and relaxing. She sent pictures and updates each day to let me know how he was doing and that really put my mind at ease since I’ve never used Rover or left Munchkin with anyone outside of family before. Munchkin is a cavapoo, so his fur can get tangled pretty easily as well but Carol brushed him every day and he came home tangle-free which really shows the care she puts into the dogs she boards. She made sure he was well cared for and loved, and I 100% recommend her for anyone wanting to board their dog and will definitely book with her in the future. She even had me fill out additional info regarding Munchkin just so she knew more about him and the best way to care for him while I was away. About: I have a special needs pup, so am good at giving medication and doing physical therapy exercises. I am also an outdoor enthusiast who is extremely patient, so I will take your dog out on the trail (if ok) and let them smell things as long as they want and provided it is safe to sniff! I do work a full time job, but remotely. I prefer morning, evenings, or weekends. And if I'm pet sitting, I will make sure to stick around and give your pet some attention- even during work days as I can work remotely! I follow medications and schedules. I will walk dogs I'm pet sitting a minimum of twice a day with let out in the middle of the day. I also believe attention, if the animal wants it, is important!

About: I've had cats my whole life, and have always been very fond of them. I got 2 of my own over the past couple years (shoutout to the cat distribution system!) Having the first come to me as a sick kitten gave me hands on experience with administering oral medications (antibiotics and some pain pills) and eye ointment. The second gave me hands on experience with having an orange cat (if you know, you know.) If I'm not going on a trip with my immediate family, I'm usually the one they'll call to do check ins.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. If you want need more services or hours let me know and the cost will increase*. Housitting means that I am coming to your home to petsit vs you boarding your pet at my home. It means that I go in and out of your home based upon my schedule. If you want a midday walk or specify times of service, there is an extra visit fee which will be added. Likewise, an early arrival before dinner/service after I serve breakfast should be booked as a stop in or midday visit or additional day. Ask, if this is not clear. Your home should be clean including bed sheets and a towel for me. Please make sure your stove and oven are free of anything that can cause a fire or melt with heat. I am available for morning and night meals along with sleeping over. I would go in and out of the house like a normal pet parent. About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. Lots of special needs and senior dogs that needed a lot of care and medications. As long as there's a detailed note to follow, I can get it done. I am very cautious and take my job as an animal caretaker very seriously. As a horse and cat owner, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your fur-family in the care of someone else! I will always make sure to do the best I can to leave your fur-babies safe, happy, and comfortable. Animal behavior and training is something I've always been interested in, so I'm always looking to learn more about up to date training methods as well as the best ways to take care of my pets and the ones in my care! I'm currently working Saturday-Monday 7-7 so my schedule stays pretty flexible on my days off (Tuesday-Friday). Tuesdays I can offer limited availability (7am-1:30pm) Wednesday-Friday I can make just about anything work as long as it leaves time during the day to visit my horse :) Any time I'm caring for a family dog or any pet, I'll freshen their water, make sure they've been fed (and that they ate all their food) and that their behavior is normal. If I Iet them out to use the bathroom I'll keep an eye out to make sure everything looks normal and healthy and that they're not acting unwell. If they're interested, we'll play a little bit before I leave. Same routine for cats, except instead of taking them out to go potty I'll clean their litter box.

If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. “I recently adopted a bunny and we were going away on vacation for a few days… we needed someone who was able to watch my her while we were gone. We had a very nice meet and greet with Julia and she was very flexible with where my rabbit would stay, as well as how much space she could roam around in. She offered a whole room, that would be gated at the door, for my bunny. Since the meet and greet went so well, we booked her for the days we would be traveling. She made sure there was a carpet for my bun’s feet so she wouldn’t be on the hardwood floor. She put baby plugs in the outlets so my bunny couldn’t get to them. I felt very comfortable leaving my bunny with Julia and her family, they were all very kind. They even put a camera in the room so when they weren’t with my bunny, they could always keep an eye on her. My bunny seemed very comfortable and happy with the situation and adjusted very well because of Julia’s hospitality. Julia offered everything she could to make sure my bunny had an amazing stay. We will definitely be booking Julia again!!”
About: Hello! I grew up on a farm where we had plenty of dogs and cats and your basic farm animals. I have trained and taken care of all different types of breeds. I have had English bulldogs to labs to Dobermans. I have gone to dog training classes and have experience with puppies and older dogs. My senior English bulldog passed away and I am not in a position to have a puppy full time. So I would love some animals around the house to keep my company! The days I’m available are when I’m off work and spend most my time at home on these days. Therefore I can fully take care of them, play with them and train if needed. Well in my home I have a fenced in back yard, but I would still watch and hang out with them if that’s where they wanted to be. I would take the animals on walks as directed by the owner. I live in a very safe area with families and it’s a fun neighborhood to walk around in. At both the owners and my home I would make sure the dogs always have water unless otherwise directed- this is very important especially in hot climates like CA.
