“Ms. Diahann is rated 5 stars for a reason! Very communicative, provided many updates and keeps a great environment for the pups. Will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Katrina and her family took the best care of my two corgis. She sent me so many pictures through out the day so I could stay updated on all of the fun they were having. The kids ran around with them in the backyard and tired them out every day. My girls even got to sleep with the kids which I know made them super happy. I would definitely recommend Katrina and her family to take care of your furry baby.”

“Jeremy watched my dog Shadow for about 2 weeks and he had a BLAST! I loved the photos updating me on how he was doing and every photo Shadow looked so happy and well taken care of. It seems like he was never bored with all the other dogs to play with and endless cuddles?”

“First time using Rover. Molly, her pups and home environment were very welcoming. My old dog has an expensive dislike to the crowded and noisy concrete boarding facilities. She seemed to enjoy staying in a quiet home like setting with a great backyard and a calming human. I will definitely use Molly again. Convenient and quick drop off and pick up. Thank you!”

“Kayle was great with my dog Rocky! She sent photos every day and I could tell he was having a good time. 10/10 would recommend her as a sitter. I will be asking her to petsit for me in the future!”

“Tory provided excellent care for our 1 year old dog. He communicated often and sent pictures that showed our puppy on some beautiful, foresty walks. We will definitely leave our dog in his care again.”

“Ren took great care of my dog during my 7 day vacation to the UK and France! I received regular pictures and updates during my time away. Would book again in the future!”

“The most important thing for us is to know our elderly dog is safe, with people who understand an older dog and her needs. Mariko is that person! Millie is content, and well taken care of which gives us peace of mind when we are away. Much better than leaving her in a kennel.”

“Thanks Sherry for taking such great care of my pet! She was incredibly responsible throughout the day care today. She always provides timely photo and videos and takes absolutely great care of Charli and she came home so happy that I highly recommended Sherry! Definitely will book Again!”

“Loved Dana from the start! She watched our 1 year old English bulldog for 2 weeks for us and so glad we went through her. She dealt with numerous date changes (thank you military) and was still very gracious. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again for watching our crazy pup for us!”
“Taylor was absolutely fantastic! We boarded our German Shepherd with her for 16 days while we took an extended trip. She communicated with us frequently to let us know how he was doing and sent many pictures, which we greatly appreciated. We will absolutely book with her again.”

“Jennifer was great! She is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable about dogs. My pup had some unexpected problems adjusting to being away from us for an extended period of time and she was very understanding and kind. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe and loving sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Camp Murray
Serenity is the best at caring for your dog ! She's professional and very communicative, someone you can definitely trust and rely on. During our trip we also received picture update of our dog which we greatly appreciated and gave us a peace of mind knowing our dog is having a great time ! She's our go to sitter from now on.

Jasmine was awesome!! She took care of our two very large Newfoundland puppies on short notice and they were absolutely spoiled. I'm always nervous when someone new watches our babies but Jasmine and her husband immediately made us feel comfortable when we met them, gave us a tour of their house and fenced backyard and were very nice and welcoming. Over the next few days we received so many photos of our pups being totally pampered with love and attention while we were gone. She even started working on leash training them! I couldn't recommend Jasmine enough!

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful! She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, and I really appreciated that she required a meet-and-greet beforehand with her own dogs. It showed me that she genuinely cares about the well-being and safety of every dog in her care—not just filling bookings. She came up with a thoughtful plan to make sure my dog would be comfortable and safe with the other dogs, which gave me so much confidence leaving him with her. Throughout his stay, Jennifer was friendly, communicative, and sent lots of pictures and updates that really put my mind at ease. I could tell my dog was in great hands, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy dog sitter!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Camp Murray home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Camp Murray.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Camp Murray sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
