“Jeremy was awesome!! He sent pics and videos everyday, which I loved to see how much fun they were having during their week stay! I can tell my dogs had a blast and felt comfortable in his care and had lots of fun with the other dogs as well. I definitely recommend choosing Jeremy as your pet sitter!”

“Absolutely wonderful with my puppy Dante. Good communication, friendly and sent me updates for peace of mind. I will definitely be using them again when I am out of town or need a break from puppy. Thank you!”

“Bobbi is the actual best! She is deeply thoughtful and treats my dog like he is one of hers. My pup is still young and she will arrange to have other young dogs come to play. I can’t say enough good things about her and the peace I have knowing my dog is in great hands.”

“Taylor watched our stubborn and moody Beagle. She handled it with patience and grace. She provided so many pictures and videos to show us how he was doing. Taylor went above and beyond in helping him work with other dogs. Our Crosby came home happy and obviously well cared for. We are thankful for her and her willingness to care so well for him. We highly recommend her!”

“Dana was wonderful. Sophie and Bodhi loved her. Bodhi is a special needs dog, visually impaired. She made a point to make sure that Bodhi was comfortable and was included with the group. Thank you Dana!”

“Maggie did a wonderful job with Summer. It was reassuring to know that Summer was in a safe and happy place while we were away. I got regular updates and I know by the smile on Summer's face in the pics that she was happy with Mochi! Definitely will be returning for my future sitting needs. Thank you Maggie!”

“As usual Jennifer was fantastic with my dogs. One of my dogs Lucy was having some heat exhaustion problems or potentially from a seed that was caught in her throat (strange constant licking and vomiting for first hour and a half that resulted in me calling vets while at Jennifer's house). That resulted in her needing some extra attention and Jennifer did everything should possibly could to ensure she was comfortable and well taken care of with plenty of updates! My other dog, being the doofus he is, was just having a good time as always!”

“The time Rendi spent with you was second to home. Rendi fit right in...right down to sleeping with you. Thankyou for taking her, being good for her and you will see Rendi again. ❤️”

“We are new to Rover and had only been able to leave our Great Pyrenees with family members for super short periods. We’d also kenneled our little Pekingese and had begun to realize that because of his age we needed to find some other less stressful way of housing him while we vacationed. Our 2year old Great Pyrenees and our almost 17year old Pekingese stayed with James and his wife and their care was fantastic. The fully fenced in back yard was a paradise for our Great Pyrenees! We were excited to book our next trip/adventure knowing we’ve found great care for our fur-babies!”

“We felt very comfortable leaving Wonder in the care of Dina and Irma. We had a great meet and greet which gave us more confidence entrusting Wonder in their care. We enjoyed the updates throughout, and loved seeing her get along and play with their other dogs (amazing dogs, by the way!). Wonder returned to our care content and wanting more. We will stick with Dina and Irma from here on out! Thank you so much!”

“I really appreciated Lauren’s clear and frequent communication. Leslie seemed to like her a lot after I came to pick her up. I’m also thankful that Lauren was able to extend Leslie’s stay when I had trouble getting back from my travels.”

“Lisa was great! We had a bit of difficulty getting together for a meet and great due to both our schedules but once we got over that she was amazing! Checked in with me daily and sent pictures of our guy! I would highly recommend her and will be using her in the future!”

“Jill did a fantastic job taking care of our dog. Lots of communication prior to our dog's stay and many photo updates during her stay. We will definitely use Jill again to care for our Penny.”

“Our dog Walter was so well cared for. Ethan is thoughtful and an excellent caregiver and business person! He is prompt, caring and our dog had a great time! He came home tired from all the play with dog friends, I got updates, photos and know he was well cared for. Highly recommend 🐕”

“John was great with our shy pup, Bear. The photos and updates were wonderful. He was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and immediately put me at ease knowing he’s a long-time dog person. Our pup was exhausted when we got home so he got plenty of walks and all the fetch he could have wanted. I will gladly reach out to John again in the future!”

“Tony and Krista are fantastic sitters. They are genuine and reliable, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. It’s great to feel free to travel and know that your pet is well cared for.”

“We had a great experience with Germaine & Anthony sitting for our 6-month old pup. We got daily photos, which was such a comfort, and we could tell our dog was well cared for and loved during our 2 week vacation. She also had a blast getting to play and socialize with their family dog! We would use them for any sitting needs again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Germaine and Anthony!”

“Drew took excellent care of our dog while we were out of town for 10 days. She kept in contact twice a day by sending photos and updates. We could tell our dog was happy and very well cared for. Would book again any time!”

Serenity-Lashae was a phenomenal sitter. She was super prompt on responding to my last minute request. Super easy to communicate with and flexible. She took the best care of my gentle *giant* fur son. I think he wanted to stay longer! She treated him like her own family and I felt he was in safe and secure hands. She asked and took care of all his needs and provided updates and photos. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking great care of Kai!
Caitlyn and her pack are always amazing! She provided tons of pictures and videos throughout our dog's stay. Specifically she was super kind and mindful of our dog's separation anxiety. Caitlyn, thank you for letting Marco join your pack and I know he's already looking forward to coming over again!

Alexis took such great care of our dogs, Nami and Natsumi. She was incredibly thoughtful and made sure they were comfortable and well looked after. We loved receiving daily updates and photos, which showed how happy and relaxed our dogs were. Knowing they were in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind. We are very grateful for her care and would absolutely trust her again.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
