“I have not used a pet sitter in over two years and Jeremy was a fantastic choice for pet sitting our eight year old English Bulldog, Jake. He sent photos and videos daily to keep me updated on how Jake was doing. He ensured Jake received all his medications, stuck to his diet, cleaned his wrinkles, and took him for walks. Jake was well loved while with Jeremy and we will use his services again if we take another trip that Jake can’t go on. :)”

“Bobbi took excellent care of our two pugs! She was a wonderful communicator, flexible with our schedule and our dog’s needs, and we just had no worries at all leaving our pups with her all week. Got lots of updates and it looked like they had a blast! Thank you so much!!!”
“Jennifer took great care of my Ava birdie! She was communicative, sent pictures, and asked questions to ensure proper care. I am relieved to find someone who enjoys my birdie and takes good care of her! Highly recommend!”

“Margaret was a great sitter for our dog Xena. She was responsive, polite, and provided regular updates during Xena's boarding. Xena typically takes a bit to get comfortable, but was quick to integrate with Margaret's dog Mochi. They quickly became best friends and she was clearly enjoying her stay. Thanks Margaret!”

“Jill is very kind and caring. Linus enjoyed his overnight with her & her family and their dog Josie. She sent photos with pup-dates so I knew Linus was relaxed & well cared for. I will definitely call on Jill when we need a sitter again.”

“John was great with our shy pup, Bear. The photos and updates were wonderful. He was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and immediately put me at ease knowing he’s a long-time dog person. Our pup was exhausted when we got home so he got plenty of walks and all the fetch he could have wanted. I will gladly reach out to John again in the future!”

“The time Rendi spent with you was second to home. Rendi fit right in...right down to sleeping with you. Thankyou for taking her, being good for her and you will see Rendi again. ❤️”

“James (Ray) and his wife Juli were excellent sitters. They don't have pets of their own, but our Lilly enjoyed having total attention I'm sure,, even though she does like other dogs a lot too. They took her on walks at a beach by where they live and we totally appreciated it ! Fed her the many snacks we dropped off with her so she felt more at home.”

About: I grew up surrounded by many animals. When I was 10 I had 4 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 1 cat and stray farm cats. I spent time working on a farm with my family who taught me how to love and care for animals. I also pet sat throughout high school and later worked at a doggy daycare, gaining hands on experience with dogs of all ages and personalities. I love taking dogs on hikes and fun adventures while their pet parents are away. I even have a dedicated dog room filled with their favorite things to help them feel comfortable, loved, and at home until their family returns. 🏡 I’m a stay at home wife who loves baking, walking, going on hikes, and if I’m not hiking I’m home 24/7, so your dog will always have plenty of attention and care. When a dog stays with me, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible. We will also go on plenty of walks and Saturdays are reserved for fun hikes and extra adventures!! I will also annoy you with pictures and videos to update you! 😂💖 I provide a calm, loving home where pets are treated like my family. I follow their regular routines, provide daily walks, plenty of attention, and a safe, comfortable space so they feel happy while their parents are away.

Taylor was absolutely fantastic! We boarded our German Shepherd with her for 16 days while we took an extended trip. She communicated with us frequently to let us know how he was doing and sent many pictures, which we greatly appreciated. We will absolutely book with her again.

Serenity-Lashae was a phenomenal sitter. She was super prompt on responding to my last minute request. Super easy to communicate with and flexible. She took the best care of my gentle *giant* fur son. I think he wanted to stay longer! She treated him like her own family and I felt he was in safe and secure hands. She asked and took care of all his needs and provided updates and photos. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking great care of Kai!
Caitlyn and her pack are always amazing! She provided tons of pictures and videos throughout our dog's stay. Specifically she was super kind and mindful of our dog's separation anxiety. Caitlyn, thank you for letting Marco join your pack and I know he's already looking forward to coming over again!

Alexis took such great care of our dogs, Nami and Natsumi. She was incredibly thoughtful and made sure they were comfortable and well looked after. We loved receiving daily updates and photos, which showed how happy and relaxed our dogs were. Knowing they were in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind. We are very grateful for her care and would absolutely trust her again.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
