Pet care is woven into my daily routine. I work from home, which means I’m available throughout the day to give your dog plenty of attention, activity, and affection. Each day includes a mix of outdoor time—whether it’s a neighborhood walk, a beach stroll, or a trip to the dog park—depending on the weather and what the dogs need. On weekends, we occasionally head to our family’s cabin, and if your dog enjoys swimming, they’ll have a blast there!

When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. I have a spacious backyard perfect for playtime, plus easy access to the beach and a dog park—each less than a mile away. Based on your dog’s needs and your preferences, I can focus on beach outings, park trips, or backyard play. Your dog will receive plenty of love, attention, and mental stimulation, including walks, play, and cuddle time during their stay. If your pup needs extra guidance, I offer crate training and basic obedience support. I carefully follow any instructions you provide—whether it’s feeding routines, medication, or firm boundaries—to ensure a smooth, comforting experience. My goal is to keep your pet happy, healthy, and feeling right at home while you’re away.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral concerns—such as anxiety—so I can help minimize triggers and provide the best care possible. To ensure a smooth stay, I ask that you share your dog’s feeding amounts and schedule, medication instructions if needed, bathroom break frequency, whether they’re crate-trained, and any likes, dislikes, or unique quirks. For safety, I do not accept dogs that display aggressive behavior, such as unprovoked biting, lunging, or extreme reactivity toward people or other dogs.

On a typical day, your dog can enjoy 1 bigger activity like a long walk, a trip to the dog park, or a visit to the beach. I’ll be sure to send updates when we’re doing something fun your pup loves! We also have a spacious backyard perfect for kicking around a ball and playtime.

Hi, I’m Caitlyn! What sets me apart is my genuine dedication to animals and their well-being. I treat every dog like family and strive to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment for your pup. I live with two young golden doodles (ages 3 and 4), so I’m very familiar with the energy and needs of playful, active dogs. I also have experience caring for senior pups and understand their gentler pace and unique needs. I always recommend a meet and greet to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable, and I can separate dogs if needed. My approach to behavior is rooted in positive reinforcement and redirection. When a firmer approach is warranted, I use calm, corrective methods—such as ending the unwanted behavior and giving the dog time to settle down with a clear, firm statement. I aim to create a consistent, respectful environment that helps dogs thrive. Additional services: Grooming add-ons: Pricing varies based on needs but would not exceed $40 (brushing, deshedding, light trims, bathing & drying with gentle products) Sometimes dogs need a refresh after lots of outdoor time in the PNW! Whether you have a bouncy pup or a mellow senior, your dog will receive personalized, compassionate care while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your furry friend!
