About: I grew up surrounded by many animals. When I was 10 I had 4 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 1 cat and stray farm cats. I spent time working on a farm with my family who taught me how to love and care for animals. About: Dogs and other domestic pets of all ages, shapes, and sizes have been a part of my life since I was a young child growing up in rural Kansas, and I truly believe they are a family member. They can be therapeutic and loving towards you in ways you didn't know you needed. I am currently a stay-at-home mom while my boys are in elementary and middle school. I will have the most time to care for your pets during the day while my kids are in school, as well as sometimes late afternoon and evening depending on after school activities. I have a fenced in yard but do live on Joint Base Lewis McChord, located on the North Fort side. The yard is well-maintained with natural grass and plenty of space to run around. I have one dog that gets along well with others and loves to have play dates. He is older so he likes to take naps and enjoy the sunshine!

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 12 years old. Growing up with pets taught me the responsibility it takes to care for each individual dogs needs and comfort. I have experience in dog sitting as well as dog fostering for the last 6 years. Currently pet sitting is something I do full time. I am a stay a home mom so I am home 24/7! I have a 18 month old daughter who loves animals and she is used to very large dogs. In the mornings I take my pups for a walk and come home to feed them breakfast. Throughout the day we play and take potty breaks every 2 hours or so. I have a fenced in backyard and an unfenced front yard. There is a dog park not far from my home, so we take walks there frequently. We end our night with dinner and one last play/potty break before bedtime. I live in a house in a gated community. I prefer meet and greets before booking. I have multiple water dishes throughout my home that are always full. I do not offer human food to dogs unless specifically told it’s okay by the owner, this is to avoid any issues with dogs that may have digestion problems. If your dog is crate trained and needs to be in a crate if nobody is home for a short period of time, please let me know before hand. All dogs MUST be child friendly as I do have a 18 month daughter myself, she is great with animals and is very used to larger breeds.

About: I have had pets since I was born, and from age 5 I started to help withtheir care. I have always had a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, etc. I may not be a professional, however, I believe I am pretty knowledgeable about cats and dogs, their care, and some training. 3rd year in college, studying mathematics at WSU. I have had pets all my life back home and I lived them all sooo much. About: I have taken care of all types of dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, and all of their unique personalities! I have owned dogs with cancer and also a few reactive ones. Therefore, I know each dog has their own specific needs, and I love to spoil them in their own way! I currently work 2.5 hour shifts as a coach 3 times a week, besides that I am able to give them all the love and affection they need. Besides these short shifts your dogs will rarely ever be left alone! I have a dog of my own who goes on walks daily, and also plays enrichment games everyday! He would love to have a friend to do it with! I have a fenced yard, and a very friendly and energetic dog of my own to keep your fur baby busy! I take all dogs for a walk 1-2 times a day so they have time out of the house to go on an adventure as well! I try to take them on different routes each time so it’s more exciting and interesting for them, this also applies to my dog walking service! Besides walks, I also include multiple types of enrichment activities for them!

“Our dog had a great time at Val's place! Before I dropped Dash off, I could tell that Val was conscientious and organized - she asked good questions about Dash during the meet and greet, had contingency plans in case things went wrong, and let me meet some of the other dogs staying with her. She has a nice fenced yard area for dogs to play in, including some shade and structures for dogs to run over/through. During his stay, Val sent us pictures and video of Dash playing with other dogs and even a cat! (We gave her permission to see how Dash did with cats, since we don't have any). He came back tired and healthy. All in all, we are happy and will be asking Val to take care of Dash again.”
