From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family!
