Hi!! :) My name is Serena, I’m new on Rover and I’m very excited to meet some new furry faces! I’m the go to dog sitter for my best friend’s Husky & Shepard who is a tripod (3 legged king), so even though I’m new on the app I have a couple repeat clients! I used to volunteer at Pasado’s Safehaven in Washington, and my favorite thing was to bottle feed the cows! I’ve also fed & changed swan bedding on the swan committee, fostered a bob cat, squirrels, horses, and birds. For personal pets I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, canaries, cockatiels, leopard geckos, anoles, hermit crabs, tarantulas, various fish and aquatic critters/plants.

Serena was AMAZING watching our two cats for a month. We did a meet and greet and she had a list of questions to make sure we covered everything she needed to know about them! One of the cats is semi feral but we warmed up to Serena so quickly, and the other kitty was her best friend almost immediately. ☺️ Serena went above and beyond and exceeded all of my expectations! She sent photos and videos every day, and let us know when they were running low on anything so we could order more to her house. She even ordered a pack of foam balls identical to the one we had because it inevitably rolled under the stove and it was her favorite😅. Serena’s place was great for the cats, too. She had lots of comfy hiding spots for them and added their blankets to their favorite spots. Serena was an EXCELLENT caregiver for our fur babies. It was so hard to have to leave them for an entire month but she made it as seamless and carefree as possible. She was incredibly helpful with pick up and drop off (it’s not the easiest thing to transport cats). I would absolutely trust Serena to watch them again. She is so kind, trustworthy, and truly loves animals. She took care of them as if they were her own☺️
I’ve known Serena for many years. Whenever I travel she has always taken excellent care of my pets when I’m away.(dog,birds) My bulldog Bella loves her!
Serena is incredible with pet care, she was great with my 2 dogs, I ALWAYS used her for it, sends a ton of photos and just makes you feel like you're not really gone, pretty sure my dogs like her better than they like me, also great with the cat

Schedule
I’m HOME: Mondays,Tuesdays,Wednesdays,Thursdays. In OFFICE: Friday 7:30-4:30pm, Saturday 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch breaks to check on your pet! I also have a pet cam I can talk to them, send you pics, and dispense treats :)

I will make sure we do a meet and greet so we can discuss any specific needs/safety concerns you might have! I have a lot of space and working from home makes frequent checks as simple as looking over from my work desk. My apartment unit is also directly across from the complex dog park and a large grass area! I have one cat, but she’s anti social so she would be kept separate in another room to enjoy her peace and quiet
A typical day
Working from home makes giving your pet attention incredibly easy and I can easily put a dog bed next to my desk for lots of pets and ear scratches! My job is also flexible and would let me take out your dog for a walk/potty break as frequent as needed :)
