Pet care experience

✨ The Fun Aunt of Pet Care ✨

Hi! I’m Courtney, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, daycare, or overnight stay, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own routine, quirks, and needs, and I do my best to make their time with me feel as close to home as possible. For pets staying in our home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. All pets are fed separately to ensure an stress-free mealtime experience, and they’re welcome on the furniture for snuggles and relaxation. We also have plenty of toys available for sharing, enrichment, and playtime throughout the day. Our large, grassy backyard gives dogs plenty of space to explore and enjoy outdoor time and sunbathe. You’ll receive regular photo updates and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and love building lasting relationships with both pets and their people. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

Courtney was so fabulous! Her communication was top notch and she sent pictures and truly took the best care of my pup. She stayed at my house and treated it like her own. Dishes were clean and it looked like nobody had been there. I am so grateful for her and will be using her again!

I'm confident Mazi loves Courtney and the gang because he had a hard time leaving. Thank you for another day of hosting him and making his stay so enjoyable.

Courtney is absolutely AMAZING. She helped me and my family out so much over my wedding weekend. I genuinely can't say enough. She truly went above and beyond and takes the BEST dog pictures. My boys adored her and she was so kind and respectful!

Courtney loves dogs more than just about anybody. I have seen her do a fantastic job raising/training her dog Emmie. I’ve always known her to be responsible and reliable and would trust her with anything…especially dogs!

Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my days around caring for my own dog. Daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, enrichment, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for are already a regular part of my life. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate drop-ins, walks, daycare, and overnight care throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets feels less like a task and more like something I truly love doing.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I’m also comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each pet’s personality and needs. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. In my own home, pets are treated like family. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and space to relax. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who does well with other animals, and I always prioritize slow introductions and safety to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Pets

A typical day

I love making sure pets stay both physically and mentally engaged while they’re with me! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, activities can include walks, fetch, tug of war, enrichment games, treat puzzles, cuddle time, and plenty of supervised outdoor play. We also have a large grassy backyard that’s great for running around, playing, sniffing, and getting energy out safely. For more active dogs, I’m happy to do longer walks or hikes, while senior pets may prefer slower-paced walks and relaxing companionship. I always tailor activities to what makes each pet happiest and most comfortable.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their daily routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs so I can make them as comfortable as possible. It’s especially helpful to know about feeding schedules, medications, allergies, potty routines, favorite activities, triggers or anxieties, and how they typically interact with other people or animals. I also like to know what helps them feel safest and happiest so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress free while their owner is away.
