I work from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, whether that’s potty breaks, playtime, or a midday cuddle session. Daily walks are a given, and I love taking dogs on “sniffaris” for mental stimulation… including our favorite: long, leisurely strolls down the aisles of Lowe’s to sniff all the new smells. Maybe they can even help me sniff out my future partner. Talk about multi-talented. Are you a shift worker and need odd hours like a middle of the night drop off/pick up? I got you! I’m a night owl and willing to accommodate most schedules.

Whether pets are staying at my place or I’m caring for them in their own home, I aim to stick as closely as possible to their normal schedule so they feel safe and comfortable. That said, I believe pets are on vacation too, so sometimes that means an extra treat, a new enrichment activity, or a bonus walk to make their stay extra special. My goal is to give them the perfect balance of routine and fun. For my boarding clients, please note: While I don’t have cats, my neighborhood does have a few kitties that roam around. It is highly likely that your floof will have a kitty sighting at some point during their stay. If your fur baby is highly reactive to cats, I might not be the best option.

A typical day
Cuddles and conversation are a must. Yes, I talk to pets like they’re people, and they usually talk back with tail wags and borks. We’ll head out for walks or “sniffaris”, maybe sneak in some neighborhood watch duties, and of course, plenty of couch snuggles. I’ll also be their official puparazzi, so expect lots of photos to keep you updated and your furry friend famous.

I understand their unique personalities and needs, from the extra exercise and structure they thrive on to the snuggles they secretly love. I combine patience, calm energy, and plenty of playtime to make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and understood—whether they’re a lap dog or a 100-pound cuddle buddy.

Michelle was great with my pittie, Rue. She communicated regularly, sent pictures and updates. I got home to a happy and healthy pup.
Shelly stayed 6 nights with our Cutie. She took great care of our pup and the house. We loved all the updates, pics, and videos! Having Shelly around during the day, working from home, was very reassuring. And Cutie clearly looked her, following her around, snuggling with her in the couch, and sleeping right next to her at night. We were so happy to know Cutie was happy and will taken care of.
