About: I have lived with dogs my whole life, and have been dog sitting in other homes since I was 12. When I graduated high school in 2020, my parents let me get a puppy. She was a husky/aussie mix who was going to be my best friend as I entered adulthood. Unfortunately, Willow was diagnosed with chronic liver failure before her first year. Things looked very different from then on - she was on a strict medication schedule, a special diet, and any surgery would risk her life. Though she was sick, she still had the personality that you’d expect from a husky. I gave her the best life I could for 5 years. There has been a hole in my heart since Willow passed away last year. Since then, I have enjoyed volunteering with canines at the Humane Society. This includes taking dogs on field trips to give them a break from shelter life and to allow myself some much needed interaction. I can promise you that the time you give me with your pets will be spent respecting and caring for them as I did with Willow. Having witnessed interactions between animals at the shelter and owning a medically complex pet, your pet’s safety is my #1 priority. While they are in my care, they will receive exclusive, careful treatment at their pace and comfort level! After being accepted into physician assistant school, I left my full time job as a medical assistant to pursue things that brought me joy before I enter back into the medical field for the rest of my career. I do not currently have a set schedule, and plan on picking up jobs here and there or finding fun, laid-back part time opportunities until I move to New York next fall! I do not have any pets, and would not bring your pet near any other animal without your permission. I live on the second floor of a small apartment complex with my fiancé who works from home, so at least one of us would be present at all times. We have a small, fenced in patio if your pet would like to go outside and enjoy the view. Your pet is welcome in all parts of my space, and they would not be crated at any point. The surrounding area has a lake with a walking path as well as pet friendly neighborhoods/parks if your dog likes to go for walks! If I am in your home, I will enforce and follow all rules that you set for guests your pet.

About: I’m super friendly and love going on walks with my dog (Popcorn). There’s a park right next to my house and I also have a HUGE backyard for fun activities. Giving Stephanie 5 stars for communication and transparency regarding the booking. I had some apprehension about initially booking as she was going to receive 2 other dogs in addition to my 1 and the 2 she already has. After day 1 my dog didn’t quite appear comfortable and came home a little standoffish. Sometimes that happens though where places/pups aren’t the best fit. Stephenie was honest and flexible so we came to a decision to end the bookings early. She seems to be a great reliable sitter to many, just not the one for us.
Richard was the perfect sitter for my little boy. The backyard setup is perfect for playtime, and his dogs are lovely. I’ve never put Kai in daycare before, but Richard was an amazing host. We felt at ease from the start, and he sent me pictures throughout the day to show how much fun and well looked after Kai was. I couldn’t have asked for a better first sit. Highly recommended!

Sarahi was an absolute lifesaver for us and our fur baby, Simba! We were gone for almost a month, and not only did she keep Simba happy and healthy, but she was also super accommodating when we unexpectedly extended our trip. Sarahi went above and beyond, keeping us updated and giving Simba all the love and attention he deserves. Honestly, we think Simba might miss her more than he missed us!
