About: I am a full time petsitter and behaviorist with 13 years of experience with positive reinforcement training, behavior modification, shelter work, petsitting, and working within a variety of shelters, veterinary clinics, aquariums, and zoos across the United States. I am a former zookeeper and biologist who recently became a fulltime behaviorist and sitter. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I love greeting them with excitement, giving them attention, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. In our home, pets are supervised and can be safely crated or given their own quiet room if needed for rest, comfort, or separation. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and a dog door so pets can move in and out comfortably throughout the day. We do have a pool that is not fenced, so I make sure dogs are monitored outside and will always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor access and supervision. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, exercised, and loved.

About: Taking care of pets has been a huge part of my life for over 30 years. In addition to caring for my own pets throughout the years, I have helped many friends and family with their pets when they aren’t able to. I know how important it is to provide love, attention and care is for our fur babies. My youngest child has gone off to college so I would love nothing more than to fill my new found time loving and caring for any and all pets. For most of us, our pets are like our children. To our pets, we are their everything. I know how sad it makes me when I have to leave my babies for some reason. Having someone to trust to love and care for them when we can’t is so important.
