I had Alicia watch Gracie (my extremely timid 3.5 month old jack Russell) over the weekend while I was at work and not only did Gracie come home tuckered out, she was always so happy - wagging her tail and relaxing - whenever I’d come to pick her up. So it was very easy to tell that she had a good time and wasn’t in a rush to go home. Which if you’re like me and your pup is basically your child, you know how great and important that feeling is because you want your baby to be safe AND also NOT be miserable lol. So I really appreciate Alicia’s warmth and the fun atmosphere she provided because it really pulled Gracie out of her shell - and for that I’m so excited and grateful! About: Hi, I’m Laura, and I love dogs. Cats are pretty cool too. I work fully remote, which allows me to be home throughout the day and provide consistent supervision, potty breaks, and attention. On the rare occasion I need to step out, I have plenty of space to safely separate dogs so everyone remains comfortable and stress-free. I have a fenced-in yard with a large grassy area where dogs can safely run, play, and burn off energy. Dogs are welcome on the furniture in my home, unless your household rules say otherwise, in which case I’m happy to follow your preferences. I also have a pool, and if swimming is a favorite summer activity for your pup, they’re welcome to enjoy a supervised dip. Additionally, I have a doggy door, and if your pup is trained to use it, they’re free to go in and out as they please.

About: I am a full time petsitter and behaviorist with 13 years of experience with positive reinforcement training, behavior modification, shelter work, petsitting, and working within a variety of shelters, veterinary clinics, aquariums, and zoos across the United States. I am a former zookeeper and biologist who recently became a fulltime behaviorist and sitter. I have two degrees in biology and psychology, as well as certifications for fear free animal handling and positive reinforcment animal training. I currently am a certified behaviorist and work full time with behavior modification, reactive pets, and petsitting which allows me to have a completely open schedule for your needs!
