About: I have experience dog sitting and taking dogs on walks, and training. Including dogs with anxiety, trauma, and reactivity. Each animal has an individualized personality and requirements to feel comfortable and safe, and I believe I create that space for them to trust me. I have two kitties, one who has had som special needs so I am well versed if they need medicine, a diaper, or just some social presence while you are away. I was not on rover for many of my clients, so you won’t see my reviews but I had many clients in Detroit when I lived there, who were apart of my regular life style to see weekly. My husband and I have become friends with the owners. We’ve had our rescue dog for a year and are still learning a lot of training with positive reinforcement. currently my schedule is open as I’m between full time jobs. Just reach out and let me know what you’re looking for so I can coordinate car usage with my husband in the mornings. For dogs I give them a place of reference like their bed so they feel comfy and safe. I can crate them, training exercises, and take them on walks on the grass when it’s hot/to park. We can do some play time, feeding, and potty breaks. If a cat I will provide some company and petting, play time, brushing, feeding and litter scoop.

I have two degrees in biology and psychology, as well as certifications for fear free animal handling and positive reinforcment animal training. I currently am a certified behaviorist and work full time with behavior modification, reactive pets, and petsitting which allows me to have a completely open schedule for your needs! I am available for weekly midday drop ins, day visits, boarding, overnight visits, behavior modification, basic training, and caring for all animals, including exotics! I have petsat for over 150 repeat clients with a variety of animals from hoofstock to small domestics. I have experience caring for senior animals and animals with special needs (medical and behavioral). I am able to stay overnight, provide boarding, provide daycare, and house sit while you and your family enjoy a break. Please contact me if you are interested! Since this is my career, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to meet your pets needs! I am available for weekly walks, drop ins, or overnight stays in the home. I always treat my clients and their fur-kids the way I would want my pups to be treated. I spend all of my free time with them to give them the best attention and care while their family is away. I send daily pictures and updates as well!
“Alex was great with Elsa. He was very diligent and even took notes on her lunch time. I was happy with the updates he gave as well. If Elsa needs a sitter again, we will definitely reach out to Alex.”
“I came in town to help with events for work & Jerron agreed to watch Ripley last minute. My pooch was happy and tired when I picked her up instead of anxious. & she is a high energy dog even at 6 years old. I recommend and would use Jerron's services again.”

“Annika was really sweet and my pup Harley seemed to be worn out from playing and running all day (a good thing!!). Annika was sweet enough to also give Harley some snacks throughout the day. Would definitely book again. Great location near Vanderbilt campus that’s not subject to all the Nashville traffic for quick pick up and drop off”

Alex was awesome and did an amazing job looking after our Chippy! She constantly sent photos and updates and put our minds at ease since we are not used to leaving Chippy somewhere else. We’re very grateful and happy we found Alex- we would love to have him going more and playing with the rest of the pack!

Rachel and her kids did such an amazing job taking care of Ollie and Kitty, they walked the dogs and she sent us photos and kept us updated throughout each day! The dogs came home pooped each day we picked them up. We would not hesitate to book her again! Thanks so much Rachel for taking such good care of our dogs!

Richard was the perfect sitter for my little boy. The backyard setup is perfect for playtime, and his dogs are lovely. I’ve never put Kai in daycare before, but Richard was an amazing host. We felt at ease from the start, and he sent me pictures throughout the day to show how much fun and well looked after Kai was. I couldn’t have asked for a better first sit. Highly recommended!

Alyssa is such a sweetheart and has been such a lifesaver for me and my Sophie, one year old Shepherd mix. I moved to a new area and was starting a new job, and at the last minute was told I had to come into the office for the day. I reached out to many Rover Pet Sitter’s and decided to go with Alyssa as initially, she was super easy to work with and very communicative, and once we got to know her her and her boys, and her 2 dogs, they were all wonderful with Sophie. I will definitely be booking with her again and recommend her for anyone out there looking for a great Pet Sitter. Thanks again, Alyssa.! 🙏💕
