Rachel went out of her way to do 2 meet and greats to assure Bella would be comfortable with her, even though Bella had taken to her immediately. Rachel is an exceptionally, caring pet caregiver. She treated Bella as if she were her own. Rachel was very communicative sending me daily updates and pictures. I was totally comfortable and confident that Bella was in good hands. Rachel was reliable and responsible following Bella’s schedule of meds and meals. I can’t say enough positive comments about how wonderful it was to have Rachel in my home and with my Bella. I have scheduled Rachel for my next trip away.”

“Markie was wonderful with our 4 rescue dogs that have some behavioral issues! One is blind since birth, so he is very selective who he likes and trusts. He was comfortable with Markie right away during our meet and greet, so that put me at ease. While we were away we received pictures and detailed updates daily. Upon returning home, our house looked just as we left it. Markie washed the sheets and towels that were used and even mopped the floors where the pups chose to not use the doggie door. We were very happy with our house sitting services.”

About: I have had cats and dogs for all my life and love to meet others’ pets. I have a knack for making all animals comfortable with me right off the bat (and sometimes making their owners jealous with how much they like me). I always listen to the needs and wants of the pets, especially those who may be more shy and need some space. I work part time and remote so I will have lots of flexibility to drop in on pets and stay around to keep them company. I always let animals dictate their comfort levels and how much space they need then slowly work to gain trust as needed. Once we are connected, I love to give them all the attention they want.

About: I have a love for all animals and am always happy to snuggle, play, go on walks, and yes - talk to them as if they are my bestie on a wine night! I have cared for dogs ranging in age from puppy to senior (16+!) this includes scheduled potty training breaks, medications, and cleaning up the occasional accident. I am a full time nursing student, so when I am not learning how to do Bed Baths and Beyond, I am always looking for new ways to break up the monotony of studying. Pet sitting allows me to take breaks and get some energy out - and honestly I will be using active recall and talking to your furry friend about what to do when their patient has an ostomy bag that needs changing! Growing up, our dogs accepted us as part of their pack and we treated them like another family member (kinda like your really hyper but loving little cousin) We train and interact with them with resect to their individual personalities - no 1 pet is the same and it is important to me to meet them where they are at!
