About: I have had cats and dogs for all my life and love to meet others’ pets. I have a knack for making all animals comfortable with me right off the bat (and sometimes making their owners jealous with how much they like me). I always listen to the needs and wants of the pets, especially those who may be more shy and need some space. I work part time and remote so I will have lots of flexibility to drop in on pets and stay around to keep them company. I always let animals dictate their comfort levels and how much space they need then slowly work to gain trust as needed. Once we are connected, I love to give them all the attention they want.
About: I have a love for all animals and am always happy to snuggle, play, go on walks, and yes - talk to them as if they are my bestie on a wine night! I have cared for dogs ranging in age from puppy to senior (16+!) this includes scheduled potty training breaks, medications, and cleaning up the occasional accident. I am a full time nursing student, so when I am not learning how to do Bed Baths and Beyond, I am always looking for new ways to break up the monotony of studying. Pet sitting allows me to take breaks and get some energy out - and honestly I will be using active recall and talking to your furry friend about what to do when their patient has an ostomy bag that needs changing! Growing up, our dogs accepted us as part of their pack and we treated them like another family member (kinda like your really hyper but loving little cousin) We train and interact with them with resect to their individual personalities - no 1 pet is the same and it is important to me to meet them where they are at!
“If I could leave Brian a 10 star review I would!!! We have had many pet sitters over the years and Brian is the by far the best we have had. He stayed at our house for four days caring for our cat and three guinea pigs. He was incredibly conscientious and made sure all of our animals got the attention and care they needed. Our cat fell in love with him! Additionally, we were particularly impressed with how well he cared for our three guinea pigs - I highly recommend him if you have exotic pets. He followed our instructions for caring for our pets very well and left our house in perfect condition. If you want a pet sitter/house sitter who genuinely cares about animals, has a gift for connecting with them, and treats your home as if it's his own, then Brian is without doubt your person!!”

About: I've been an animal person for as long as I can remember, with 20+ years of hands on pet care experience. For 5 of those years, I worked at a veterinary hospital as a Veterinary Assistant, where I cared for boarding pets, worked reception, helped with medical procedures, and got to know animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. I have a soft spot for senior pets, but honestly, I love them all! One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are shy, anxious, fearful, reactive, or otherwise a little more challenging. I'm patient, calm, and willing to let an animal come around on their own terms rather than expecting them to immediately trust a stranger. My goal is for your pet to feel like they're in caring, capable hands while you're away. I work remotely most days of the week. I'm up early every day to walk my husky while it's still cool outside. I'm a big homebody so most of my hobbies involve staying home. I love having animals around, so the more the merrier! Safety is always at the top of my mind. My home is pet proofed with anything dangerous tucked away and out of reach. I have 1 dog, he is a 9 year husky who loves making new friends! He's very well socialized with other dogs and loves to nap, play, and go on walks.

Emily was great! She came over and met with myself and my dog, Tag before the sit. Tag is usually really nervous with people, but she still felt comfortable enough with him to watch him! During the sit she kept me updated with texts and pictures even though sometimes I was out of cell range, she sent updates. Tag was happy and healthy when I got home and the house was immaculate! Andrea not only took amazing care of our pups, but also our home. We came home from a 3 day kayak trip (with no service) to happy dogs and home. She is proactive and has a lot of experience, which gave us confidence with being out of contact during her stay. We will definitely be requesting Andrea soon!
Rachel was wonderful! She stayed overnight at our house with Atlas, Murdock, and our cats, and they absolutely adored her. She was so attentive, spent time playing with everyone, and sent lots of pictures, which made being away so much easier. She also went the extra mile to leave our house clean and even left us a sweet welcome home card! It was such a thoughtful touch. We’re so happy we found her and would absolutely book with her again!

Allie was ver patient and attentive with our dog. She gave us regular updates and sent us pics to let us know our dog was doing well. Allie made sure Chewy’s medical needs were met and kept him busy. Overall she did great and we would definitely hire her again.

Bri is such a wonderful petsitter! We don’t even worry about our cats when she is there! She takes the time to send tons of photos and videos while we’re gone, which helps so much and makes us feel so much better that the cats are doing well! She genuinely loves animals and goes out of her way to spend time with them and make sure they are played with and cared for. We will be asking her to pet sit any time we are out of town and so grateful to have found her! Would highly recommend her to anyone!!
This was our first experience with Rover and we couldn't have been more pleased. We made advance arrangements to have Andrea sit with our pets not knowing, at the time, that our cat would be in a condition of rapidly failing health by the time the sit arrived. Andrea met this situation with courage and kindness and cared for our kitty until we could get home. We will be forever in her debt for the care and thoughtfulness that she showed our pets. In addition she cared for our 9-year-old border collie/lab who struggles with fear aggression. Andrea provided video and text updates on a daily basis to keep us informed about our cat's health and the general well-being of both pets. All in all, Andrea provided a great experience for our pets and for us. We felt confident leaving her in charge of our home and our fur babies. We highly recommend Andrea for your pet sitting needs.

He came a couple weeks before to meet the dogs and took his own notes when I went over everything, which I appreciated. Emilee was great! She sent lots of updates and pictures of my fur babies. One of our cats who normally takes days to warm up to people, interacted with her so quickly as well as our shyer dogs. She left the house neat and tidy and took great care of our animals.
Willow was amazing! She handled our two finicky dogs and their medicine routine no problem. They warmed up to her super quickly, and she gave us regular updates on how they were doing during our trip. It was clear our dogs and home were well taken care of while we were away.
