About: I've been an animal person for as long as I can remember, with 20+ years of hands on pet care experience. For 5 of those years, I worked at a veterinary hospital as a Veterinary Assistant, where I cared for boarding pets, worked reception, helped with medical procedures, and got to know animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. I have a soft spot for senior pets, but honestly, I love them all! One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are shy, anxious, fearful, reactive, or otherwise a little more challenging. I'm patient, calm, and willing to let an animal come around on their own terms rather than expecting them to immediately trust a stranger. I love getting to know each pet's individual personality and figuring out what makes them comfortable, happy, and relaxed. My goal is for your pet to feel like they're in caring, capable hands while you're away. I work remotely most days of the week. I'm up early every day to walk my husky while it's still cool outside. I'm a big homebody so most of my hobbies involve staying home. I love having animals around, so the more the merrier! Safety is always at the top of my mind. My home is pet proofed with anything dangerous tucked away and out of reach. I have 1 dog, he is a 9 year husky who loves making new friends! He's very well socialized with other dogs and loves to nap, play, and go on walks.

Emily was great! She came over and met with myself and my dog, Tag before the sit. Tag is usually really nervous with people, but she still felt comfortable enough with him to watch him! During the sit she kept me updated with texts and pictures even though sometimes I was out of cell range, she sent updates. Tag was happy and healthy when I got home and the house was immaculate! Thank you Emily for your great care of Tag and my home. We'd be happy to have you back!
Andrea not only took amazing care of our pups, but also our home. We came home from a 3 day kayak trip (with no service) to happy dogs and home. She is proactive and has a lot of experience, which gave us confidence with being out of contact during her stay. We will definitely be requesting Andrea soon!
Rachel was wonderful! She stayed overnight at our house with Atlas, Murdock, and our cats, and they absolutely adored her. She was so attentive, spent time playing with everyone, and sent lots of pictures, which made being away so much easier. She also went the extra mile to leave our house clean and even left us a sweet welcome home card! It was such a thoughtful touch. We’re so happy we found her and would absolutely book with her again!
Sara is fantastic. She clearly loves the pups! Shmoo got walks every day and was so happy and content when I got home. Sara was great about communicating with me and sending lots of pictures. Sara even noticed she was nervous when an unexpected storm came up and messaged me to see if that might be what was bothering her (very observant and empathic). The house was clean when I got home and she even left me a treat. Best Rover experience I've had. I hgihtly recomment Sara!
Allie was ver patient and attentive with our dog. She gave us regular updates and sent us pics to let us know our dog was doing well. Allie made sure Chewy’s medical needs were met and kept him busy. Overall she did great and we would definitely hire her again.
Cassie was so wonderful and patient with our anxious little pup. She kept us in the loop with quick messages and great pictures. She was so flexible and helpful when our travel plans were rearranged and truly put my mind at ease that Buckley was safe and happy. We’ll definitely rebook!
Bri is such a wonderful petsitter! We don’t even worry about our cats when she is there! She takes the time to send tons of photos and videos while we’re gone, which helps so much and makes us feel so much better that the cats are doing well! She genuinely loves animals and goes out of her way to spend time with them and make sure they are played with and cared for. We will be asking her to pet sit any time we are out of town and so grateful to have found her! Would highly recommend her to anyone!!
Nicole was wonderful. She is only available during the week so she is perfect for watching the house and dogs for my work trips. She will absolutely take care of your dogs like they are her own. Probably will spoil them with treats. She took on my 1 year old Lab brothers/chaos gremlins with ease. They are not "easy" dogs and require much more supervision than most dogs. She walked them and played all day with them and wore them out! She kept in constant contact with updates and followed my house rules. She even pulled the weeds for me! So sweet. Highly recommend her for her dog knowledge, patience, and ability to love on them. Thank you Nikki!
This was our first experience with Rover and we couldn't have been more pleased. We made advance arrangements to have Andrea sit with our pets not knowing, at the time, that our cat would be in a condition of rapidly failing health by the time the sit arrived. Andrea met this situation with courage and kindness and cared for our kitty until we could get home. We will be forever in her debt for the care and thoughtfulness that she showed our pets. In addition she cared for our 9-year-old border collie/lab who struggles with fear aggression. Andrea provided video and text updates on a daily basis to keep us informed about our cat's health and the general well-being of both pets. All in all, Andrea provided a great experience for our pets and for us. We felt confident leaving her in charge of our home and our fur babies. We highly recommend Andrea for your pet sitting needs.
Joseph was awesome and we will definitely be booking him again for our future dog sitting needs. He came a couple weeks before to meet the dogs and took his own notes when I went over everything, which I appreciated. Once the dog sitting started, he sent daily updates/photos, and was really good at communicating via the app. I could tell that our dogs liked him and he left our house exactly the way he found it. Emilee was great! She sent lots of updates and pictures of my fur babies. One of our cats who normally takes days to warm up to people, interacted with her so quickly as well as our shyer dogs. She left the house neat and tidy and took great care of our animals.
