For seniors, I focus on gentle, short walks and ensuring they have soft bedding and a calm environment. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will have company throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent potty breaks every 2–3 hours and mid-day play sessions. I usually take a longer walk in the late afternoon to help them burn off energy before dinner. Your pet's safety is my top priority. I require a meet-and-greet to ensure we are a perfect match. I only communicate through Rover for your security and mine. About: I have had a dog since I was a child and have cared for all types of dogs, from a mini dachshund to a great dane mix. I have experience with shelters dogs, dogs with anxiety, and service dogs. I currently work from home and do not have a set schedule. I do have family dinners sunday nights and am typically gone around 4 hours but otherwise, I am typically only gone an hour or so every few days. I live in an apartment but love taking the dogs out on long walks every few hours. I have a retired service dog who will keep your dog company.

About: I grew up always having and taking care of our dogs in our home. Now as a mother of three, I've also had the privilege of caring for our Boston Terrier Coco of 8 years (who crossed the rainbow bridge last year) and Charlie, our Goldendoodle of almost two years. Our pets are truly a part of our family and any dog that comes to our home gets treated as an extended family member. My ten-year-old son inherited my love for animals. He loves taking care of dogs and has dreamed of having a dog care/boarding business so will be helping take care of our 4-legged friends. We have experience administering meds. Having trained puppies, we're also experienced with crate/potty training and teaching basic commands. Pet care is already a part of our daily life- our doodle comes to our bed and wakes us up for his first potty break every morning and that starts our morning routine. My husband and I work from home, so we are extremely flexible with our schedules. Very adaptable to any bathroom/play/walking schedules your pets may have. We have a large fenced yard with lots of fluffy grass for dogs to run around and play in. We love to go on family walks along the lake in the evenings.

About: I am an experienced animal rescue volunteer and medical foster for both dogs and cats. I can provide loving care and special needs for your family. I am experienced with giving medications to both dogs and cats, including shots. I will walk your dogs, play with them, cuddle them and whatever else they like. If they need a brush or bath I can provide that as well. Cats I find seem to accept me (even if they are skiddish) when their owners are gone. I will also play with, groom and love on the kitties, if they are comfortable. I have worked in a professional office and have a graduate degree. I have my own dogs, cats and potbellied pigs. I also have experience with birds, reptiles and tropical fish. I don’t overbook so I can give your pets the best level of care. I will update you daily on their progress with pictures (unless you would rather not think about home while on vacation). I am also willing to do extra tasks while you are away (water plants, pick up mail, light housekeeping). I do offer hourly rates for sitting dogs with separation anxiety (constant supervision) or cats with medical needs. If I am not booked for housesitting, I will accept boarders and doggy day care for small and medium dogs. To have dogs in my home they must be ok with cats and other dogs. I also have a spare bedroom I can board cats in so they are not around the dogs. I am comfortable doing drop in visits on short notice, if you have a key box or digital entry. This works best for cats. I will always do a free meet and greet if preferred (and recommend for dogs). I’m retired so I’m home. I do puzzles and reading and I really enjoy the company of dogs, walking them helps me get my steps in. I can take care of feeding and walking dogs. I do live in an apt and walk my dog 4 times a day, so they would get plenty of exercise and lots of hugs!
