About: If you're looking for someone to care for your dog as if they were their own, I'm the person you want. I absolutely love dogs and after losing my sweet girl Kenya after 12 short years, I have so much love to give. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always trained them myself. I stay consistent and patient when teaching new commands or tricks, and of course, I always have treats by my side. Since moving to Arizona 10 years ago, I’ve rescued over 25 dogs off the street and helped them find new homes. I've recently retired early and I'm looking to integrate pet care into my daily routine. I like to stay active and would love to spend more time walking, playing with, and caring for dogs. I am happy to brighten a dogs day and to make a positive impact on the lives of others' furry friends. I am available for walking and in-home visits. Depending on your needs (or the dogs) I can offer a leisurely stroll with lots of stops for smelling or quicker paced walking or even jogging to get that energy out. I am also happy to administer care with provided instructions. I can be avaibale as a cuddly companion to your dog or a fun playing partner. About: Hello! My name is Emilie and I have been caring for animals my entire life. I received my first dog (a lab) as a birthday gift at 5 years old and loved every minute of it. Since then, our family has gotten two more dogs (another lab and a Lhasa Maltese) and two bunnies. I love animals so much I started working at a veterinary clinic. Here I dealt with a large variety of animals, from ferrets to birds, including dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, needs, and temperaments. I am PetTech (PetSaver) certified and trained in CPR, First aid, and care and can provide the certification upon request. About: I have had pets my whole life with a dog being the consistent. Ive had dogs of all sizes and personalities. I feel great care for the animals & have a lot of love to give them. Right now my schedule is all over the place & so to the individual we can make a plan that works through good open communication (: Can give pets a bath & good brushing i don't perform any grooming beyond that. About: I have experience in watching dogs and caring for them. I have helped give dogs their medicine and followed their medical needs. I am very attentive and thorough when petsitting. Currently, I am taking College classes in the fall on Mondays and Wednesdays, leaving me with Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday free for any work available. I have a fenced yard with a medium sized dog I let out every morning, noon, and night. I also have two medium sized cats that like to keep to themselves. I do live with my family with younger siblings and two adults.

I currently have three cats of my own, and I have experience caring for frogs, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, and dogs. Throughout our bond, I have been patient with her, always allowing her to take her time with things, to both understand, and adjust; I also have experience with an Aussie cattle dog that had issues with pulling, and manners. Overtime, I've been working with him using all methods to my disposal: calm confidence energy, treats, and noises. -------- (Without Krabby Patties!) 🍔 ---------- I have worked with a alot of different clients recently, all with unique personalities. One dog that I worked with fairly recently stood out to me: 'Cobi.' ---------- She had severe separation anxiety; was struggling to calm down, was pacing, hypervigilant, barking, patrolling, panting, going room to room, and in a state of pure panic; she was unable to relax. Instead of letting her freak herself out, I implemented a baby gate, restrictions, instructions, guidance, treats, and shht noises, to reduce her triggers, and produce an outcome I wanted: -------- Relaxation. -------- Instead of letting her free roam, there was a boundary, limitation implemented to let her only go outside when she needed to use the bathroom, and to go inside her baby gate with me every night for sleep, and at other times, relaxation. She was able to actually go into a REM sleep, so much so she was kicking. This was amazing to me. She also made a big big big step when she was able to focus on me when there were two dogs who were barking at us inside their house. Originally, she lunged at them, whined, and pulled hard. But with a correction, she focused on me, and she even laid down near them. She was very sensitive to energy and I could feel that specifically on that walk. Overall, terrified of every noise she was. She made progress beyond measure in just 4 days. -------- I have loads of free time, and would love to share it with your pets! -------- I commute using an E Scooter, with long range. 🏍 -------- Active hours are 12:00 PM to midnight. Sometimes earlier, Sometimes later. I reply to all morning requests right when I log on at 12:00pm! ----------- NOTE ON BOOKINGS: Because true behavioral progress and confidence take time and consistency, I FOCUS MY SCHEDULE ON RECURRING, WEEKLY WALKING/HOUSE SITTING CLIENTS. I love building long-term friendships with dogs so we can actively tackle their habits.🐕‍🦺 --------- 🏘 BOARDING: When I take your pets into my own home, I will ask you to provide a kennel for your pet to ensure safety, and separation around my personal pets that I care for. Please let me know if they're friendly with cats or guinea pigs as I cannot care for any prey driven animals. ----------- ☀️DOGGY DAYCARES: If you book me for doggy daycare, I would love to take your pet out for standard, energy draining walks that require running, and play. As well as focusing on their obedience. --------- (Never dog parks)! --------- I do gig work, I am a writer, and I want to transition directly into animal caretaking and behavior full time. -------- I believe taking care of animals should always be in your daily routine because when I get tired I will always make sure I take my dog out for a walk before bed. With the cats I take care of, I make sure to feed them wet food, and dry food at the same time everyday, listen to their cues, and instinctively know what they want/need based on what they do/express. It feels like a natural instinct not a obligation to me. I'm always going to put my pets first; I find myself worrying, and thinking about them before making any sort of big decisions, and I will advocate for them in difficult situations. How I plan to take care of these animals safely in their own home, and mine is by respecting their boundaries. First of all, not getting too close if they are upset with it, but also making sure they read the energy I give them. I'll always enter with a positive energy so they know I'm positive, and a calm energied person. If leashing in their home is required thats okay too. Honestly just patience, care, and most importantly repetition.

One of my dogs is reactive to other dogs so I understand some animals need a little extra time, love, and support to feel comfortable. I also foster kittens through a local organization.
