“I would absolutely trust Alex with my dogs! I spent a weekend in Arizona from Cali and needed someone to watch my dogs during the day and last minute needed them to be watched during the day the next day and she was very accommodating! She sent me a lot of pictures and kept me updated, and reassured that they were not bored! When I’m back in town, I’d absolutely use her again! Thank you so much for watching my dogs!”

“Susan watched our two Huskies for several doggie day care visits. She and her husband were so friendly and easy going, we immediately felt at ease leaving our furbabies with them. You can tell that they really enjoy having dogs around. Our dogs got walks, playtime, and we got plenty of pics/updates. I would highly recommend Susan. She will be one of our first choices when looking for care again.”

“Great sitter! Bear came back so happy!”

About: I’m often referred to by friends as Snow White because of my connection to animals. I’ve had family dogs my whole life. I got my “very own” dog for the first time when I was 15, and that sweet lady lived until I was 30. Taking care of her in her senior years was one of my greatest gifts. I have tons of experience training dogs/puppies and cats/kittens, and own 2 dogs and 2 cats currently. I am very patient, caring and compassionate with animals, and which helps to deal with even the most difficult personality types. While here, we will maintain your animals current feeding, walking and play schedule. I work full time from home, and am only gone for a few hours on weekdays to do school carpool and errands. On the weekends we are generally home, with the exception of family dinner on Saturday evenings and church on Sunday mornings. I have a fenced in patio with grass, and also have an unfenced front yard where dogs can go potty on leash. All visitors will have their own kennel and will be kenneled for meal time, and any time I leave home to prevent safety concerns. There is constant supervision when animals are not kenneled. Walk times can vary during summer depending on summer temps to ensure paw safety, and if you have dog shoes we highly encourage you to bring them.

“Alyssa was great with Communication and I loved receiving pictures. Na’Vi came home happy and tired. I definitely recommend her and plan to use her again. Thanks Alyssa”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 25 years, and in our home, dogs are truly family. We love, play with, and spoil them! Our friendly doodle mix adores having canine companions around, making your pup feel right at home. Whether it’s for cuddles, playtime, or a calm, loving environment—your dog will be in great hands with us. I work full-time, but the vast majority of my work is done from home, which allows me to be present throughout the day for pet care. I’m also home every evening, so pets in my care get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship around the clock. I have a fully fenced yard and one friendly, four-year-old doodle mix. I do require a meet and greet to ensure the dogs get along well. My dog has been professionally trained, attended doggy daycare, and is well-socialized with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Creating a safe, happy environment for everyone is my top priority.

About: I've grown up with many pets throughout the years. Even as a young child, I had 5 dogs all at once! And many more pets aside from that over the years! I've worked with birds, dogs from all ages, and cats of all ages! I do not work or go to school, so I am home 24/7 to care for pets! I also live with my boyfriend who works 2am-the morning, so he is also home most of the day and night to care for pets. I have a balcony and several huge grass areas for dogs to run and play. I also have a separate second bedroom setup with cat furniture and accessories.

“After getting over the hiccups, being first time experiencing Rover on line everything went excellent.”

“We needed someone to watch our 7 year old German Shepherd during the day while I went off and played old man baseball. Kelly turned out to be perfect. Very flexible and didn’t require any of these meet and greets a number of Rover sitters want. Being from out of town that never works. She sent pictures and videos four the four days we used her. Can’t really say much more she seemed to like him and he came back a tired pup. Good Job!!!”

About: I've cared for pets my whole life-- cats, dogs, and fish. I trained a golden retriever from a puppy and now care for a near senior rescue dog. What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like family and understand how to adapt to different temperaments and needs. There are no situations that I am not comfortable handling, and promise to ease pet owner's minds while they're away via excellent communication and thoroughness. I work from home Monday through Thursday, giving me plenty of flexibility for pet care during the week. I currently bartend part-time on weekends, but I’m transitioning into full-time business ownership, which will soon make my schedule even more open. I’m dependable, responsive, and committed to making pet care a seamless part of my daily routine. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize a calm, safe, and clean environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, give them plenty of attention, and communicate openly with owners. I treat every animal like my own—respecting their space, personality, and needs. My goal is to make them feel secure, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I’m a 34 year old, home healthcare professional. I have lived in Arizona for 3 years, I’m from Illinois. I lost my fur child (Sophie) last summer, she was a senior and it was her time. Sophie was a rescue that i fostered and adopted 4 years ago. I miss having the companionship of a dog around. I thought dog sitting/ walking and loving on others dogs would be a great way to fill that in my life until I’m ready to adopt again. I love all dog breeds and sizes. I grew up with dogs all my life. I am very reliable and responsible. I have years of dog sitting and house sitting experience. I am capable of basic care, feeding, walking, playtime, potty breaks and giving your pup lots of love! I’m a home health caregiver and my schedule is very flexible. I work part time for one client 3 mornings a week from 5am-8am. I have all other hours day and night to be with your dog. So your furry friend will get plenty of love, attention and playtime with me. I am available to dog sit in your home or mine. I do live in an apartment on the second floor. Your pup will need to be able to do stairs or if they are small enough I’m happy to carry them up and down. I’m available for the day and overnights as well.

About: Besides training my own puppies, and taking care of senior dogs, I’ve owned dogs of all sizes. Since I was young I’ve loved walking my neighbors/friends dogs and house sitting when needed! Also, I have volunteered with animal shelters, taking dogs for field trips and walks so I have experience with dogs with different temperaments and leash-walking ability. I’m comfortable caring for any size and breed of dog. I’m currently available for drop-ins and dog walking. No matter what, I can work around my schedule to care for your dog. I love staying active and keeping busy, so I can fit multiple walks a day if wanted! In my own home, I take my dog on a lengthy walk at least once a day and spend hours engaging with my pets to keep them happy and healthy. I never let the pets I watch outside on their own incase of safety issues. On walks, I make sure to provide enough water and limit exposure to heat, especially on the asphalt. I care for other people’s animals as if they are my own, so I do everything in my power to keep them happy and comfortable!

“Ada took great care of my puppy! I’m so grateful because I am a worrier. She is a very careful person like me and I’m happy to have found her.”

5. Cassandra S.
“I've known Cassy for almost 15 years, and in that time, she has shown herself to be nothing but a compassionate, caring individual. Not only to her loved ones, but to anyone in need; human and animal alike. The way one treats animals is paramount to understanding their character, and in that aspect, she exceeds anyone I've ever known. The love she has not only for her own fur babies, but for all animals is possibly the thing I admire most about her. If there's a more capable and well equipped person to take care of animals, I surely have never met them. -Charlie McDonald”

7. Kendra J.
“I have seen Kendra care for her own dogs as well as my own dog, other's dogs, as well as homeless dogs with the same love and adoration they all deserve. Kendra has had many dogs of her own giving them a nurturing home where they lived their lives out to old ages. I have left my dog in her care too many times to count for anywhere from an hour to several days. Her current dog has gone through board and train program and is very well mannered and behaved. Kendra rescued a stray pomeranian once and fostered it until somebody from a rescue came to grab her because she wanted to be certain the animal was never in harms way. With about 40 years of experience caring for dogs from childhood, Kendra experience ranks her way higher than I even can here on rover!”
