“I’m so glad that I found Amy on Rover. She is very reliable and responsive and the perfect person to help out with my puppy when I have to be gone during the day. Very friendly and great with pets ❤️ We will continue to hire her to take care of Bowie 🐶”

“We have had Michelle take care of our cats several times now, and she has done a great job every time. Our cats really seem to like her! She is very communicative and sends lots of great photos, and she really took the stress out of leaving our babies for an extended period of time. She was even kind enough to water our plants! Highly recommend Michelle”

About: My name is Carley and I have spent time around animals since early childhood. My most recent pup and best bud, Diego, who we had for about three years, recently passed away. He was 11 when we adopted him, so I have a lot of experience caring for senior pets. I have also watched hundreds of pets through Rover and Wag! I look forward to walking, playing and cuddling with any dog who needs love and attention. I will make sure that your animals have a comfortable and fun-filled time while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I mostly work from home, so I have a fairly flexible schedule, and my partner (who previously worked at a vet clinic) is home almost full time. I like to meet pets where they are. If your dog loves walk and outdoor time, I enjoy taking them to nearby parks. If they prefer cuddles at home, I love that too!

“I booked Julie for a drop in visit with Jake when I was out of town for a day trip. We met for the first time a few days before. I’m happy that Julie is a responsible, thoughtful, and kind sitter and I look forward to hiring her again!”

“Kate was amazing! She did everything I asked her to do with the cats, left great notes, and kept me up to date with any issues. I felt very safe leaving my two kitties with her!”

“Andrew was great! I came home to two very happy fur babies. He went above and beyond when caring for them. I would definitely use him again when my family travels!!”

“Daniel was great with my dog Pepper. He did a meet and greet with her prior to my trip to ensure they started out as fast friends. Pepper enjoyed her time with Daniel as easily scene in the many photos he provided. I had no concerns with him dropping in on Pepper my home and I appreciated his short-notice availability and flexibility. I hope to use Daniel again very soon.”

About: Until recently, I had a 55lb Beagle-Bully mix of my own and used Rover for her when needed (grateful for some wonderful sitters who were very accommodating to her idiosyncrasies). I grew up with dogs, horses and cats. My mother is a bit of a "whisperer" and taught me how to "understand what's in their head", anticipate reactions, understand context of behavior and gain trust (comes in handy for both people and pets!). I have experience with separation anxiety, dominant behaviors and with administering medication. I love the words, "I aspire to be the person my dog thinks I am." We should all be so lucky as to have the love of a dog. I am also very cognizant that "we are their whole world" when a dog lives in the city (I grew up in a rural area where dogs spend more time outside roaming). Let me know if there are any behaviors I should be watching for and mitigating, as well as any commands, etc that your pooch is used to. I work a "typical" 8-5 work week with flexibility to be home for part of the week or part of the day, especially with a little notice to adjust meetings/schedules. I would also love to check in, brush, snuggle, play with and/or walk your fur baby evenings and weekends. Always a delight to meet a new personality! I work a full time weekday job with flexibility to be home part of the week or part of the day. I can adapt quite a bit to accommodate a stay when I have a little notice. If I go into work, it's usually late morning or midday (aka half day). If boarding, pets are welcome on furniture and in the bed at my home. I have a couple squeaker toys, a little sleeping pad on the floor if needed, doggie bags, and some water/food dishes. I don't have a yard but live near the lake with lots of great walking /running for dogs that desire the activity (I walk several miles/week). If needed, I have personal experience with the patience and empathy needed with a reactive/anxious dog so just let me know what you know and I can carry on while you away, adapting as needed.

“Anaiah saved the day. Literally. I was experiencing some issues after a major surgery and the Rover person I had scheduled didn't show up so I was desperate. Anaiah was here in twenty minutes to take them out and then came back a little later to take them for a walk. I'm sooooo impressed!”

“This was our first experience with Andy and I am very pleased! She was very communicative and very patient with my shy cat. Everything looked as it should when I got home and I can’t ask for more!! I hope she will be willing to do cat-sit visits w/Tess in the future.”

About: I've been a pet owner for as long as I can remember, somewhere around 3 years old. While I'm just now going pro, I've often been the one friends and family trust to take care of their animals when needed. I've been through almost every scenario with pets, from the amazing to the emergent. Your pets are safe in my care and they'll be glad they met me. I work for myself, so I'm generally really flexible schedule wise. If I schedule a service with you I will be there, guaranteed. I'm punctual and work hard. I have experience walking dogs of all ages and needs, and can supply medication if necessary. While I can't bring any animals into my home, I'll make sure that yours is respected and treat it like my own.

About: I am a certified professional animal trainer and I have worked at accredited zoos and aquariums across the country as an animal keeper and behaviorist. I have 15 years of experience caring for exotic and domestic animals, and I take great pride in my skills, compassion, and attention to detail. I have a deep love and affection for all animals and not only do I provide expert care to every critter in my care, but go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and happy with my work as well! I am skilled in animal training, senior animal care, giving medications including injections, and basic first aid. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets! I am able to be flexible with my schedule day to day, and can work with you on what schedule works best for your animals and situation! As an animal care professional I take my responsibility for providing the very best care seriously. I care for the animals as if they were my own, and treat each clients space with the utmost respect.

“Andrea just finished pet-sitting for me, and she did an amazing job! She followed all my instructions carefully, and I loved getting regular updates and pictures. It was clear my pet was comfortable and well-cared for, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her next time. Highly recommend!”

About: I've grown up with labs my whole life, training themI’ve been around dogs, especially Labs, pretty much my whole life—training and taking care of them is second nature to me. Because of that, I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I have a knack for connecting with animals, so they always seem to feel right at home with me. I currently only have a cat, which I feed every 12ish hours, and clean her box every other day. Enrichment toys and activities are fun for her too, but she's a cat, she calls the shots! I am dedicated to creating a comfortable and safe environment for any pet, and make sure to include activities and toys to make sure your pup has the time of their life while you're away.

“Shawnara was awesome! They were very transparent about how my cat was doing while I was out of town and I was glad to have peace of mind. My cat was spicy but Shawnara was very patient and understanding of my cat’s personality, and I really appreciated their flexibility. Highly recommend!”

Tracey B.
“Tracey was raised in a family of animal lovers and she goes to great lengths to accommodate the needs of her own rescued dog, Pucca. Tracey learned the responsibility of caring for a variety of animals as a young child and she will forever be a kind and caring advocate for animals. Tracey is from a family that could not function without the love of animals in our lives. Tracey's first rescued dog was when Tracey was about 8. There was a stray dog that needed help but would not approach when I tried to help. Tracey later asked if she could bring the dog home and I advised her, "I don't think we can get him to come in the pickup". Tracey informed me, "I already have him in the pickup". Needles to say "Bud" became Tracey's dog and he grew into a beautiful white German Shepard with a little love and care. So yes, I think your dogs will be in good hands with Tracey looking after them.
