“James kept us informed, kept our high energy dog happy and cared for. He took her on walks where she met other dogs to play with. He took her with him on short trips out of town. He followed feeding and care instructions well. He left our home in great shape, took out the garbage and kept everything clean and ready for us. He was very conservative of any resources to which we gave him permission to use or to consume. We highly recommend James!”

“Bree was amazing with Ludo and Bowie! Super communicative and sent lots of pictures while we were away for a long weekend. Left the house spotless and even ran the laundry. The pups obviously enjoyed their time and perked up when I mentioned Bree's name. Thank you! Will absolutely book again.”

“Siara was lovely and we will absolutely have her back. Even though it was her first time taking care of our two large pups and she was plagued with frequent storms and an unexpected limp, she handled each challenge with grace and communicated with us well! Highly recommend!”

About: I cared for my yellow Labrador, Sparky, for 12 years. From puppyhood to his senior years, our daily walks, playtime, and belly rubs were some of my favorite ways to connect and spend quality time together. Over the years, friends, family members and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or providing companionship during vacations, I’ve always treated every pet like my own, with patience and love. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and caring looking after your furry family member, and I’m here to provide that peace of mind. I work full time during the week, so I’m available for walks after 5pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I am also available for house visits and stays from Wednesday evenings after I get out of work through Sunday evenings. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine in a familiar environment, and I always aim to create a calm, comfortable, and safe experience. During visits, I follow your instructions closely, ensure your pet is fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention, and keep you updated with regular check-ins. Daily walks were one of my favorite bonding activities with my dog, Sparky, so I truly understand how important they are for both physical health and mental stimulation. Whether your pup loves a leisurely stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor each outing to their pace and personality. Safety is my top priority. I make sure the leash is secure, stay alert to surroundings making sure it is a safe area to walk in, and follow your dog’s routine and preferences. I make sure walks are not only safe but also enjoyable, giving your dog a chance to explore, exercise and return home happy and relaxed.

“Alyssa is an amazing communicator! She kept me informed and sent lots of pictures that made it clear that my dogs were relaxed and well cared for! I came home to happy dogs and a clean house! I hope to book her again in the future!”

From the daily updates and adorable photos to the genuine love and attention they gave, I felt completely at ease knowing my babies were in good hands. “Ashley was great and took really good care of Olive while I was away. She listened to all of my instructions and was super communicative. She sent pictures and updates every couple of hours and answered all of my messages and questions. Would 100% recommend :)”

About: Since I graduated high school, I created a dog walking business in New Jersey and now that I am a college student in Boston, I am interested in bringing my love for dogs with me! I have two dogs currently, one senior dog and one puppy (look at the first picture in my gallery to see Finley and Indie)! I have lots of experience from taking care of not only my own dogs but I also have professional experience from walking and sitting my clients' dogs in New Jersey. I am a college student but as I am in summer break I can walk or do drop-ins anytime on weekdays. I have lots of availability on weekends too for walking and pet sitting! Having dogs of my own, I understand the value of one-on-one time with human friends, this is why I only walk one dog at a time, unless they have doggy siblings of course!

“Nathalia was great!! She took great care of our cat while we were away for a long weekend. She left the place neat & tidy as well! Will definitely be booking here again.”

“Katie and Zayn took great care of our dogs. They sent photos and updates of our dogs throughout their stay. We did not know them prior to their visit and selected them based on their past reviews on Rover. Those reviews are very accurate! We will definitely book them again and are very happy to trust our dogs and our home to their care.”

“We had an excellent experience with Victoria as our dog sitter. She took great care of our dog, Bear, ensuring he was fed, walked, and happy during our time away. Victoria was professional, reliable, and communicated with us regularly, providing updates and photos of Bear. It's clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We felt completely at ease knowing Bear was in such good hands. We highly recommend Victoria to anyone in need of a caring and responsible dog sitter.”

About: I have experience of taking care of animals for over 5 years now. I've helped out friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family! Love helping pet owners! I currently work a part-time where I am available during the weekends for boarding! I have plenty of time to give your pet extra love. I will care for my client's dog by following my client's requests and wishes! I also have a mode on transportation in case of outside activities!

“Jennifer did a terrific job of taking care of my two dogs while I was gone for the week. She stayed at my house and sent me plenty of photos of the dogs so my kids wouldn’t miss them. I highly recommend her services to others, and I look forward to using her services again in the near future.”

About: I love animals, most of the time I'd rather interact and show compassion towards pets over people. Growing up we had SIX indoor cats while also caring for a feral cat colony in our backyard. Very familiar with all aspects of pet care, I have volunteered at a couple local shelters such as HAAL & Tabby's Place. My father's family used to train and show German Shepherds, so while I've never owned my own dog I am very comfortable caring for and walking pups. I'm an athletic male with the strength to safely walk bigger, stronger dogs. In another life I would have dedicated myself to becoming an actual veterinarian. Very passionate about your fur babies and the bond that most people share with their animals! Open availability during the week, morning & night. Walks, pet care, pet sitting and overnights. Weekends are scheduled but still open enough to take on a couple commitments. Walks & pet care, NO overnights unless scheduled a week before I prioritize the safety and well-being of both pets and their owners in every service I provide. In my own home, I maintain a secure, clean, and pet-friendly environment, ensuring all pets have a comfortable space tailored to their needs. In clients' homes, I respect their space while ensuring pets are safe and well cared for. I follow all feeding, medication, and exercise routines precisely, secure doors and gates to prevent escapes, and monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort. Hygiene is a top priority—I sanitize hands and equipment between visits to prevent cross-contamination. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners."

About: At CozyCare, we believe pets are cherished members of the family who deserve love and care. From dog walking to boarding and house sitting, every penny she raises is donated to charitable organizations she actively supports. Working from home allows me to dedicate my time to assisting my daughter while providing personalized attention, playful activities and snuggles for every pet in our care. With years of experience and a deep understanding of nervous or anxious pets, we tailor our care to ensure every furry friend feels happy and at ease. At CozyCare, our mission is to provide exceptional care for your pets while making a difference in the lives of those in need. Let us be your trusted partner in ensuring your pets feel loved and cared for! Working from home allows me to dedicate my day to caring for your pups. I’m available for boarding or walking and make sure they stay active and engaged with exercise, playtime, or walks. If your dog enjoys car rides, I love taking them to nearby Francisco Park, Grover Cleveland Park or Verona Park for fresh air and fun. My routine is all about keeping your pets happy, active and comfortable. I always greet them with a big smile and pets, and shower them with love. The first thing I do is make sure they’re happy and comfortable. We allow them to walk freely, play safely inside and sit on our sofas and couches. Periodically, take them for a short walk, one dog at a time.

About: I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra support. I am also experienced with dogs with behavioral challenges. With a background in the mental health field, I bring a calm, compassionate approach to pet care, grounded in patience and an understanding that behavior is a form of communication. I take time to build trust and tailor my care to each dog’s unique needs, always prioritizing their comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. As a graduate student at Montclair State University, I’m local and have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate extra time to pet care. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I enjoy fitting pet care into my routine—it’s a meaningful way for me to help out while spending time with animals I love. While each week in my schedule is slightly different, please feel free to reach out with your preferences so we can find a schedule that works best for both of us. I’m happy to be flexible and work around what you and your pet need. I provide care in my clients’ homes to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m respectful of each pet’s routine and space, and I always follow any specific instructions provided—whether that’s leading pets to their designated areas, managing feeding schedules, or crating when needed. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, secure, and cared for while you’re away, all while keeping your home tidy and routines consistent.

Chelsea R.
“As pet parents , we can recognize a person who is kind, compassionate, hard working and responsible and so can our pets. We couldn't be happier with Chelsea and their exceptional care with our dog, Chewbacca and our 3 cats. She stayed at the house with them fed and administered meds as necessary especially to our one cat. I can't say enough about Chelsea as she treated our animals as her own.”

Alexander P.
“I highly recommend Alex Paleski to care for and walk your dog. Although my dog is no longer alive, he dependably and lovingly walked and cared for my wheaten terrier Leo in the past and did a great job. From what I see, Alex loves dogs and all animals, and demonstrates much care, skill, and professionalism around them. In my opinion, he should be a veterinarian! Your precious pet would be safe, loved, and well taken care of with him.”

I can’t say enough good things about Elizabeth. She was wonderful with my dog Janie. She provided updates, stuck to Janie’s schedule, gave her medications, and bonded with her. Janie was very upset to see Elizabeth leave. Janie is a flight risk, and an anxious dog and she was at ease and safe with Elizabeth. I’m so thankful to have found her.

Grace watched three of our pups for about 10 days. She did an amazing job! Usually, I come home and my dog is a bit stand-off-ish/holds a grudge that we went away. This time they all seemed so happy and relaxed, I could tell they enjoyed their time with Grace! We would 100% work with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, great dog sitter!
