About: I've had my own cats and dogs since I was eight years old. I love the company of animals. Also as the neighhood babysitter, I was employed to housesit, dog sit, cat sit, and plant sit from the age of twelve. I love a good dog walk around the lake, or a game of fetch in an open field, or even just a lap cuddle in the sun. I know what it's like to be a dog/parent as I would only want those taking care of mine to treat them like family. I'm currently working part time remotely, so my hours and availability is very flexible. Weekdays I have the most flexibility, but I can manage some things on the weekends. I have a fenced yard, and a very friendly small dog to play with. We have several walking paths around our house and we are walking distance to Thetis lake. I take care to ensure that your family is my my family, special toys, beds, blankets whatever is needed. If the care is in your home, I respect your space, your things, and aside from a happy furry friend waiting for you, you will not know I was there.

I live an active lifestyle that includes surfing, Pilates, hiking, and running, so I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors - especially with furry companions by my side. I often travel with my long-time partner, Thomas, a 30-year-old teacher from Canada who’s always chasing the next great wave. As a freelancer working from home, I have the flexibility to change my environment while enjoying the company of pets. I love the balance it brings—caring for animals while maintaining my work routine and incorporating them into my active lifestyle (hiking, walking, running). I also live in a house in East Sooke, close to many forest and seaside walking trails. My backyard is surrounded by nature, and I can easily secure a pet on a leash so they can safely enjoy the sun while I work outside beside them. If a pet’s routine is quite structured, I adapt my work and activity schedule to match it. Otherwise, I usually start the day with something active (running, walking, or hiking) and go for another walk in the afternoon. Since I work from home, pets always benefit from my company, whether I’m working indoors or outside. I’m also just a text or call away, and I love sending daily updates and photos to owners. Having a car makes me very flexible in case of an emergency.
