“Krista was absolutely amazing with Wednesday! From the moment we connected, I felt completely at ease. She was warm, responsible, and great communication every step of the way. Krista kept me updated with messages and adorable photos, which made being away so much easier. When I got home, Wednesday was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I could tell she had been loved and spoiled the whole time! I definitely will keep booking Krista — she’s a true gem and such a trustworthy sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Fernando was a great house-sitter and dog-sitter for our two dogs when we were away. He was very conscientious and kept in touch with photos and updates about the dogs for their walks and meal times. It was very reassuring and we felt like the dogs were well taken care of while we were away. I would highly recommend him!”

“Hiba was amazing with our 1 year old dog Lucy and our adult cat Nina! She was very attentive and made sure to get and follow all the relevant info for both pets. She was very sweet yet very professional. She knew how to handle our dog and it showed she had experience with puppies in the past. Would not hesitate to call her again to sit for our pets :-) Thanks again Hiba!”

About: My name is Ann Fuller and I am a professional communicator in my 50s, working at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa. I would love a pet sitting opportunity in Montreal this summer, where my teenage daughter will be doing some dance training. I love animals and have lots of experience pet sitting and fostering, although I am new to the Rover app. I had a wonderful dog, Topsy, for 15 years. I currently have four cats (too many, I know, but a product of a foster fail). I am a home owner myself and would be very respectful of someone else’s home. I love walking, particularly in nature, and would make sure my canine charge has several good long walks each day. We would have great fun together exploring the city! I would be working remotely with a flexible schedule, so my furry charges can stick to their walk schedule and have lots of company! I love animals and have fostered many cats for the Ottawa Humane Society and Spencerville TNR. I also have experience dog sitting in two different cities through the Trusted Petsitter app. One was a large 90+ pound Mastiff/Pyrenee mix in NYC apartment for 10 days during a heat wave — that was an adventure! But we adapted and did lots of short walks instead of longer ones so she could keep cool, and then one long one in the evening before bed. She was such a sweet teddy bear! I would pet sit when traveling to different cities — working remotely while my daughter attends dance training. We started this last year when my daughter was attending a summer dance intensive in New York City. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel, and we did not miss our own pets as much. I would be working from your home, so your pet would have lots of company. But my work schedule is flexible so I can adapt to the normal walk and play routines. We are a lights out by 11 pm kind of family. I will make sure pets follow their normal schedule for food, water and exercise. Snuggle time with a good book is particularly decadent. My daughter and I are quiet people, so shy animals usually come around to us.

“Alexine was an amazing house sitter to our two dogs! She was incredibly reliable, responded quickly to messages and questions, and went above and beyond expectations. She managed last minute issues like skin irritation for one dog and a mechanic needing to visit with ease. She went on long trail walks with our dogs and her dog and seemed to care deeply about their mental and physical enrichment. My partner and I were able to leave our dogs in her hands and not worry about their wellbeing. She left the house spotless. I cannot say enough good things. You will not regret booking Alexine to care for your pets!! We already have her booked for our next trip. Thank you Alexine”

About: Ever since I was a kid I discovered how amazing animals are and so being raised at a farm, I developed a strong bond with animals. My love for them has no borders and I don’t treat them as pets, I treat them as family. Along the way, I have been able to build a small but beautiful series of experiences as daycares, going for a walk with them, feed them, etc. My experience includes small and large animals from common to « special » needs. Including chickens, sheep, dogs, cats, fish, snakes, lizards, birds, bugs and even a crab. I work 5:30am to 15:00pm except for Wednesdays and Sundays. However I can always accommodate my schedule accordingly. And of course responding to the parents demands. Im very flexible As a university student I always do extra research on the specifics of each individual animal to make sure they feel like home and satisfying their and their parents needs.

“Paige was amazing for housesitting our dogs. She arrived on time, was asking all the right questions and sent us frequent updates throughout. We would love to have Paige dogsit again!”

About: Everyone in my family has a dog but my girlfriend sadly is allergic… I love taking care of dogs and playing with them. If my girlfriend wasn't allergic we would definitely have a dog! I have times on weekends, Mondays and Fridays where i could walk dogs… i have a flexible schedule and i can adjust easily… i also love walking I wouldnt baby sit a dog at home because i have rabbits who live with me and it would disturb them too much as they are easily scared

“Jenny took care of our 2 dogs like they were her own! She sent plenty of updates and pictures! Jenny asked plenty of questions to ensure she had all the info she needed. Our dogs were well looked after!”

“Lola was everything I would have wanted in a sitter, and then some. Lola sat for our 1 year old dog Lucy, and our 5 year old cat Nina, on two occasions. The first one was just a few hours, and for the second one, she housesat for our pets for 5 days while we were away. She stayed in our house and kept watch of them. I cannot state enough how professional Lola was - she listened attentively to all of our instructions and followed them to a T. She sent constant updates, and reassured us that all was going well. I saw her interactions with both my pets, and can tell that she's good with animals - something I of course look for in a sitter. She walked our dog at all the times that we asked her for, and even offered to take her on longer walks. She also respected feeding schedules and all of our careful instructions for our dog and cat. We came back to find our house impeccable, if anything, it was cleaner than how we left it! This, we're extremely grateful for, given that it's not always straightforward to have someone stay at your house for days while you're on the other side of the country. All of this to say, after such a good experience, I will be recommending Lola to my family and friends when they need someone to dogsit or housesit. Thank you again so much! - Lucy, Nina, and Laura.”

About: Since the earliest days of my childhood, caring for animals has been my true passion. Growing up on a farm surrounded by a delightful mix of dogs, cats, fish, chickens, and countless other furry friends, I discovered a profound love for all living beings. My heart fills with joy as I spend time with them, ensuring they feel cherished and safe, just like family. Whether it's cuddling, playing, or enjoying long walks, my priority is to create a warm and loving environment for each pet in my care. My daily routine is a perfect blend of dedication and passion for pet care. Although I work full-time during the week, I rise early to seize the day. In between studying French and enjoying my workouts, I always make the time to provide the love and attention your pets deserve. I have availability in the afternoons and my weekends are completely free. While I live in a cozy studio that might not be ideal for larger pets, I believe that they thrive best in their own environment. That’s why I focus on caring for them in the comfort of their own homes. Regular long walks are my specialty, ensuring they get the exercise and stimulation they need.

I can spot things that may not be optimal in pets’ health and give their parents suggestions on how to improve :) I am also a pet mom and I treat all pets as if they were my own! I work and study part time but have afternoons and evenings off as well as 1/2 weekends. I will do my best to accommodate any schedule! I will gladly take care of your pets in their natural home environment! If it’s kitties, I can also receive them at my place. My pets are very welcoming :)

“Je recommande chaudement Tom pour la garde et les balades des animaux. Il a gardé mon chat à plusieurs reprises pendant des week-end où je devais m'absenter, je savais que je pouvais partir l'esprit tranquille. J'ai tout de suite senti son amour des animaux et sa volonté à rendre le moment le plus agréable possible pour mon animal. Je referai appel à lui sans hésitation.”

Ann-Elizabeth F.
“Ann loves animals. If that doesn't say it all right there, let me provide some examples. Ann is my neighbor, and has 4 of her own cats, each obviously loved and well cared for. Two of those cats she adopted as kittens when she fostered their pregnant momma. Momma had 4 kittens, and under Ann's tender loving care, they grew as confident kittens that were able to experience a safe and loving home, something momma cat had not been privileged with in her young life. She has also taken care of my dog, Keno, when I've had to be away. She's taken him for his walks when I was not able to. Keno loved Ann, and got super excited when she's come over. RIP Keno. If you are looking for someone who loves animals, and wants to best for them, look no further than Ann!”

Luis Daniel R.
“He is simply so caring and loving. He treated our dogs🐶 and lizards🦎 like family. He truly has talent with animals. One of our dogs is extremely agressive🐺 and when Luis Daniel arrived the first day, he allowed our dog to play with him and it became so docile that when Luis Daniel finished taking care of our animals; our dog was crying 😢 for him leaving. Recommend 100%🥳❤️🩹🎊🎉 Super professional and easy going! Listens to your concerns and thoughts. 👏👏”

Alana C.
“Hey, if you’ve landed on this young lady’s page, you’re in luck. Rarely have I ever known or seen the kind of love and care for animals she demonstrates, and her experience in the field of veterinary care means she knows animals inside and out. An example of her compassion for our beloved critter friends is a yearly tradition of hand-crafting, installing and maintaining DIY cat shelters for street cats when the extreme cold hits. Nothing matters more to her than their well-being and comfort, so I would never hesitate to recommend her for whichever pet needs you may have. Cheers!”
