About: Since the age of 8 years old our household always had a pet. I had guinea pigs growing up, birds, fish and then we got our dog that we had for 14 years. I currently have a guinea pig that I rescued from the SPCA. I'm self employed and I am a super active person. I'm always walking on the canal during breaks to stay moving. I cared for my cat with renal issue for that last year and he sadly loss passed away from cancer. I am comfortable giving meds and providing basic medical care if needed. About: I have experience with a variety of dogs, such as a German Shepherd + Black Labrador Retriever Mix, whom I fostered and trained from 4 weeks to 4 years; an adult German Shepherd + Pitbull + Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix, whom I fostered for 2 months and socialized (she came to us very afraid of people, primarily men); a Great Pyrenees puppy (~2-4 months old), whom I only fostered for a month, but was able to successfully leash, potty, and crate train; and most recently, a 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, whom I fostered for two years and crate trained, leash trained, recall trained (some off leash training, although due to breed regulations this was not tested in public settings), and socialized (to other dogs, high prey drive meant no cats)- this dog was adopted and is now a farm dog (notably, a livestock guardian dog, not herding- putting the high prey drive to use)! I am very partial to American Staffordshire Terriers and bully mixes, and thus have a lot of experience with this breed due to overcrowding of them in Texas shelters. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and even helped socialize and generally train future service dogs. I’m a student with a flexible schedule! Can watch dogs on weekends, weekdays, holidays. I typically walk dogs in the morning and in the evening, when the sun isn’t so scorching. I keep a close eye on a dog’s body language to gauge their needs. My current apartment is not super dog friendly, so I usually stay at client’s home. This allows me the regular resources to optimally care for a pet.

About: I have many years of experience dealing with dogs & puppies - having had a couple of them myself. I treat dogs with love and care, always tailoring to each individual pup. I also have experience in dealing with reactive dogs and physical issues (tri-pods). I love spending time with dogs and making them feel happy and taken care of :) Just starting out on this journey - have always wanted to do this as I love spending time and playing with dogs … what better time to do this than now! I work full time but only in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - I also live right next to my office so able to go home at lunch or at any time during the day! Other than that, home all the time! Lots of playing and cuddles! I live in a quiet neighbourhood, close to dog parks and green areas/parks. I can tailor to you and your dogs needs - whether your dog needs to be in a crate or not, special needs or requests, anything to make you and your furry friend comfortable!
