I have completed several training classes including reading dog body, reducing stress in dogs and cats and mental stimulation tactics. I have been surrounded by pets my entire life. Previously i have been blessed with a Persian cat, a Sheltie, Terrier, Shepherd cross with a whippet (yes beautiful mix), two Golden Retrievers and several other cats. I Also currently volunteer at Alberni SPCA. I lost my 12 year old Golden last year 😥, and cannot emotionally commit to own another dog, so the next best thing for me is to dog sit your fur kids and volunteer my time at the shelter. I devote my volunteer time to snuggling cats and dogs, as well as providing wellness to dogs through walks, positive reinforcement training and cleaning their kennels. I have also taken care of chickens!! I work remotely and have a reliable vehicle so provided you have good wifi for my remote work, my schedule can be tailored to your needs! Tell me what you need and we can work with your schedule. I can come to your home for walks on a schedule or on the fly, drop in to snuggle your dog, cat or other animals including chickens! (Well i may not snuggle your chickens)🐔 My service provides daycare or overnight stays at your residence. This provides a stress free way for you to leave your fur kids, knowing they have the comforts of home.

About: I am a very active individual who works from home and has lots of availability to care for your pets! With a background in Zoology, I have a deep love for animals of all kinds! I’ve owned a husky shepherd in the past, I currently have two cats and have been caring for and being around animals since I was a kid. I love walking and running with dogs on local trails and can also do leash walks and park plays. I’ve fostered puppies in the past, and have cared for dogs of all ages and breeds. I work from home in Port Alberni and I have a fenced in yard. I’m able to provide great and thorough care during the work day and evenings. Because I work from home, your pups can enjoy outside time as long as they like while supervised. I often take run or walk breaks during the day which I love having dog company for! Flexible hours also allows me to take work breaks to fit your schedule and needs. I have a fenced yard which is great for dogs who visit or come to stay. I do have two cats so I am more keen to board and dog sit pups that are good with cats. I do have the ability to separate a dog from the cats for shorter stays. My partner and friends have dogs and this is a very dog friendly home. I understand the importance of keeping things pets shouldn’t have access to put away, while ensuring they have all the cozy comforts they need. I also have a Google Nest camera in my home allowing me to keep an eye on the pets whenever I’m out of the house. That and thorough security systems ensure your pets are safe with me.

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’m also used to taking cares of dogs. I currently don’t have any animals, since I often travel during the summer. I thus have my full attention to take care of your pet. I work full time from home. Your pet will only be left alone a few hours here and there during the week. I have plenty of time to cuddle them :) I live in a house without any animals. The backyard is fully fenced. Your pet has access to toys and blankets and can lay on the couch.
