“Jeanine is lovely and so compassionate towards the dogs in her care. She allowed my dog to explore and get himself situated and warm up to her and the environment at his pace. Would absolutely recommend her!”

“We have nothing but fantastic things to say about Jutharat. Our pooch was so happy to spend time there and was treated so well. We received photos and updates about all the excitement and adventures. We will absolutely be bringing Dolly back!”

“Bryden and Colleen watched wick for me on very short notice and were just great. Thanks for being so hospitable and welcoming! Wick was a very content dog after getting to play in their backyard. Would recommend to anyone!”

“Bunga is feaful and always needs time to open up to human. But once she warmed up, she becomes very rough... Mike understands and he knows how to deal with rescue dogs. He sent me many photos to make sure Bunga is doing fine. It was also surprising that Bunga interracted with their cat for the first time in her life! And Finn, of course, was the best host! I will definately use Mike's plae again!”

“Katie was very easy to work with - she communicated quickly and clearly with us and followed all instructions. We left our dogs with her for the day and felt in the loop with their day and any issues so we were able to enjoy our trip to Kelowna without any stress. Our boys seemed to have a great time hanging out with her! We would definitely recommend Katie to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

About: We have owned many dogs and are very experienced and caring dog owners. We love dogs and will take very good care of your fur baby while they are under our care in our home. There are lots of trails to walk your dog just steps outside our door. I am retired and my husband works from home so we are able to watch your dog most days and nights and for extended periods of time. We have large front and back yards, as well as many walking trails just outside our door with plenty of room for your dog to run and get their exercise. We don’t currently have our own pet, but love dogs and will take very good care of your pet while we dog-sit. We live in a small gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. We often watch and board our friends’ Labrador while his owners travel.

“Sylvie was amazing to deal with from the get-go. Quick to respond, experienced, clean, comfortable environment and very friendly. She spoiled my girl, took her out for a ride in her convertible and got her a treat. I am so thankful! 5 stars, would recommend and use again!”

Thanks for making my first experience with Rover such a success Melissa!! Hope to see you again soon :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and have always lived with them! I grew up with a wannabe escape artist beagle, and feel confident I can handle the most stubborn of dogs now! I know how scary it can be to leave your pup, and I ensure I will love and care for your dog as if it were my own! In October 2024 we adopted a sweet girl from Mexico named Azul. She is my whole life! She would love to make some new doggy friends! I am here to make you feel comfortable with leaving your best friend in the hands of someone else. Whatever your pups needs are, I am happy to handle them with the best of care! Whether that be specific times/places for potty breaks and walks, administering medication, or anything else required! I will always be home with your pup and won’t leave them alone. My puppy had separation anxiety so I know how important it can be to some pups that I am always there! I currently don’t have a fenced yard but I have plenty of grassy space around my appartment to take your pups for their potty breaks and/or walks. My pup loves the dogs park, hikes, and walking in quiet areas, and I am happy to take yours wherever they are most comfortable for their adventures!

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by pets. As a teenager I had a rescue dog and a few rabbits of my own that I took care of and have also done dog and cat sitting for neighbours. Unfortunately my dog passed away only after a few years and I’ve missed him so much since. He was my very best friend. After that I started a family and have 4 kids now. We have a family cat that grew up in our home. I really miss interacting with dogs though and would love to get the opportunity to spend time with your furry best friend, while you aren’t able to! Our kids get along well with dogs, especially the oldest (10 year old). Dogs must be kid friendly. Our cat also gets along fairly well with dogs, as long as they are not overly hyper. I work from home and am available most days or nights. Sundays are busier for us and may not always work out. We would aim to make appointments and errands when we aren’t taking care of your pet. We have a fenced in backyard, but our cat is mostly indoors. We have a gate to keep pets upstairs only, where we spend most of our day. We have 5 kids, our oldest loves dogs and does really well with them, so she does enjoy helping with the dogs. The kids will not be left unsupervised with your dog, but they will definitely be around most of the time.

“Joanna is such a sweetheart. She has a calm personality and took such good care of my lab. She took care of him two days in a row and he was so excited to see her the second day! Normally when I leave him he gets upset but not with Joanna! He was content staying with her which shows me that he’s happy there. He’s a very good judge of character. I would highly recommend her as someone kind and trustworthy to take care of your furry family member.”

About: Family of four, with two boys (10 and 8) and one small dog (3yo Cavapoo). We recently said goodbye to our large rescue dog after 14 great years. We have lots of dog cousins and dog friends and love caring for all our four legged friends. We are available for weekday and/or weekend stays. Kids and one parent are home from school for the summer. We always find time for dog walks, beaches, and play time. We have a big house, a fully fenced yard, and a large covered deck. We live close to a trail network and have lots of good dog walking options in our neighborhood.

“We were visiting from out of town and wanted to enjoy a dinner out. I felt very comfortable with Marylin and her communication. Stanley gets anxious without us but everything worked out since Marylin also has a doxie! I would recommend Marylin if you need a dog sitter. Thanks again!”

“Leanne was great. Despite Angel and Birdie being very excitable and energetic (and nervous) as they are brand new to us, she was able to cope and keep them happy. I would definitely recommend Leanne in the future.”

About: I've lived with pets my whole life! I've had the privilege of owning dogs, cats, hamsters, and some reptiles. I've also had the privilege to complete an internship at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary in Alberta. This gave me an opportunity to learn about wolf/dog behaviours as well as pack animal behaviours. I also worked in an emergency veterinary hospital which allowed me to gain experience from specialists in the field! Other than professional experience, my love for animals has been a lifelong part of my life and I adore caring for them! I have a pretty open availability for the foreseeable future as I've had to take some time off work. I'm flexible and will usually be available most days of the week. I would be happy to do in-home visits and drop-ins for your furry friends! I'm detailed oriented and would ensure fence gates are closed, doors are closed when I leave, and all the necessary things are taken care of (food available, water dish filled, exits secured, etc.)

“Harley absolutely loves going to daycare! He now has a buddy to play and boy does he have with Bruce! I have no worries leaving Harley with Shelley, it sure eases the mind when you know your little is loved!”
