About: I grew up on a dairy farm and caring for animals has always come naturally for me. We always had farm dogs and cats but then at the age of 12 I became the owner of a little beagle puppy that stole my heart. Brandy was my dog until I moved away from home. Over the years, I had two more dogs and six cats in my life! When my last dog passed, I missed him so much and asked my hairdresser if I could look after her little poodle. I really enjoyed his company and the opportunity to get out for walks with him. I am a retired healthcare professional, so my daily schedule is very flexible. Whenever I am needed, I can be available, whether it's early morning or late afternoon. If I care for your pet, I would want you to tell me about any special diet or medication requirements. I will appreciate knowing any specific rules that you might have for the care of your pet.

About: I am a responsible and well-experienced pet caregiver who would treat your fur baby like they were my own. About: We are a mature couple who loves pets of all kinds - my partner is great at training puppies and young dogs too. We have a flexible schedule and plenty of space both inside and outside and we love a good long walk! Currently working freelance from home so lots of flexibility, time, and attention for your fur babies! Available at fairly short notice both weekdays and weekends and happy with early or late walks, drop offs and pick ups. We have a large unfenced yard backing onto lots of open woodlands and hills with tons of opportunity for good long walks. We also have a fully fenced multi level pool deck with lots of space for outdoor run around too. Inside the house is well set up for pets with wooden floors, plenty of space, as well as cosy corners and a real fireplace with perfect curling up rugs for winter evenings!

These 2 were so kind and opened their home to Frankie for an over night sleepover - so I could just be present and enjoy my friend's special day. About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Half way through our vacation Kobi, our senior dog had a medical emergency and was rushed to the animal hospital. Our previous dog border at the time didn’t take Kobi back. Fortunately, Donovan and Kassandra were willing to take our little boy in even though he would required more care. It was such a relief that they could help us at a very difficult time while we were away. We were able to enjoy our remaining holiday knowing Kobi was in safe hands. They kept detailed documentation of Kobi’s medications and his progress through recovery and went out of their way to pick up soft food for him because he couldn’t eat his regular kibble. About: Hello! My partner Chris and I would be happy to host your fur baby (or fur babies) in our home! We have two wonderful and friendly doodles (a mama and baby duo!). Rosie has been with us now since 2020 and Ginger came along in 2024. Both girls are spayed. I work from home. Both of our girls are very friendly and gentle and so are we! We invite other pups (neutered males or spayed/unspayed females) to hang out with us! Our girls love playing fetch and anything to do with the water. Pups who have similar interests would fit right in! We are happy to host your pup for daytime daycare or overnight stays. We are centrally located on Tamarack Drive off Springfield and have a fenced yard and easy access to the Mission Creek Greenway. Your pup(s) will be treated to walks, hikes, swims, and fetch galore! I work part-time from home so I'm available all day and night to take care of our doggies. If I have to run out for an errand there is always someone home. :) My partner Chris usually walks the dogs morning + night and we might take them for an additional adventure somewhere in the middle. With the Mission Creek Greenway right outside our door, little mini adventures are common. :) Our girls love sitting on the deck, listening to the birds, and watching people (and dogs) go by. We feed our dogs twice daily and they get 2+ daily walks + additional fun adventures (fetch, dog park, car ride, etc). Our girls have frequent opportunities to go outside and catch some fresh air, sniff, or use the "loo". We let our dogs on the furniture and they either sleep in our bed with us or on the floor in our bedroom. We have a crate in the room and our young pup sometimes uses it (her bedroom). We can accommodate your dog's food schedule, walk schedule, and sleeping needs. I'm also happy to administer any necessary medications to your pup.
