“I don't usually leave my dogs with anyone other than family. I was worried how the dogs would text as my one dog is usually very slow to warm up. My other dog has a traumatic past and can be temperamental. Both my pups also take vitamins and medication. Rhonda took great care to understand what they needed. She also set up lots of cozy spots for them to explore and snuggle. I was worried as my dogs sleep with me and have never slept alone. She had them sleep with her and they slept soundly. I felt like they were very well taken care of and even got attached to Rhonda and her husband. I felt confident my dogs got everything they needed and more!”

Joe & Tina were excellent! We felt well taken care of from their communication prior to drop off, during Zano's stay & at pick up. They went above & beyond expectations showing the highest regard for ours & Zano's needs, wishes & house rules. “It's not easy to leave your newly blind dog to anyone. Yet the minute my Summer met Kelene during Meet and Greet, she felt at ease immediately. Our dogs usually would tell us this kinda thing. During our week away, Kelene was fast responding message, and sent photos/videos (so good I wish she could send more!!! 💕). I love she took my little blind angel to places in town. Kelene also works from home which is a huge bonus for anyone who wants their fur babies to have max attention. Lastly, Kelene was flexible which was very appreciated since we were abroad. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and have always lived with them! I grew up with a wannabe escape artist beagle, and feel confident I can handle the most stubborn of dogs now! I know how scary it can be to leave your pup, and I ensure I will love and care for your dog as if it were my own! In October 2024 we adopted a sweet girl from Mexico named Azul. She is my whole life! She would love to make some new doggy friends! I am here to make you feel comfortable with leaving your best friend in the hands of someone else. Whatever your pups needs are, I am happy to handle them with the best of care! Whether that be specific times/places for potty breaks and walks, administering medication, or anything else required! I will always be home with your pup and won’t leave them alone. My puppy had separation anxiety so I know how important it can be to some pups that I am always there! I currently don’t have a fenced yard but I have plenty of grassy space around my appartment to take your pups for their potty breaks and/or walks. My pup loves the dogs park, hikes, and walking in quiet areas, and I am happy to take yours wherever they are most comfortable for their adventures!

About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life. From mice, rats, bunnies, chickens, quail, ferrets, aquatics, birds, cats, and dogs. I’m offering a home experience. I can take Critters of all sorts anytime, however my cat or dog reservations are from one household set at a time. I have an easygoing chihuahua who gets along with everyone. A meet and greet can be set up prior to ease everyone’s comfort. He is cat savvy and believes they’re his friend, however if your feline prefers their space he can take a hint. I’m comfortable giving your pet meds. We have a cute fenced safe secure yard and nice quiet neighbourhood for walks. I’m currently home 90% of the time (though I am looking for more work outside the home part time.) Our home is very comfortable and and fur babies are a priority. We are a positive pet home. Cuddles and Netflix, yard time and walks. Plenty of one sided conversations and side eye looks. Unlike grandmas house, we do respect fur babies Mama and Papa’s rules. ;) we have fun and patience but routine is important for happy secure babies.

About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.
