About: I grew up on a dairy farm and caring for animals has always come naturally for me. We always had farm dogs and cats but then at the age of 12 I became the owner of a little beagle puppy that stole my heart. Brandy was my dog until I moved away from home. Over the years, I had two more dogs and six cats in my life! When my last dog passed, I missed him so much and asked my hairdresser if I could look after her little poodle. I really enjoyed his company and the opportunity to get out for walks with him. I am retired, so my daily schedule is very flexible. Whenever I am needed, I can be available, whether it's early morning or late afternoon. If I care for your pet, I would want you to tell me about any special diet or medication requirements. I will appreciate knowing any specific rules that you might have for the care of your pet.
“I'd give Darcy 6 stars if I could. Darcy took our dog Henry on short notice for a 5 night stay, and even extended the stay for when us when we needed to. She even helped go to the store when he didn't have enough dog food to get more. I'd never expect that much help! But we are so appreciative of it. Henry had a suuuper fun stay with Darcy, and we received a ton of photos and videos throughout. Darcy's communication is also excellent, probably the best I've seen on Rover. Fast, detailed, and helpful. Highly highly recommend Darcy - if she has any availability for your pup, you're in luck!”

About: I grew up on a farm, I have always been around animals, I love caring for them. I have experience raising puppies of many different breeds and I am dog first aid certified. About: We are a mature couple who loves pets of all kinds - my partner is great at training puppies and young dogs too. We have a flexible schedule and plenty of space both inside and outside and we love a good long walk! Currently working freelance from home so lots of flexibility, time, and attention for your fur babies! Available at fairly short notice both weekdays and weekends and happy with early or late walks, drop offs and pick ups. We have a large unfenced yard backing onto lots of open woodlands and hills with tons of opportunity for good long walks. We also have a fully fenced multi level pool deck with lots of space for outdoor run around too. Inside the house is well set up for pets with wooden floors, plenty of space, as well as cosy corners and a real fireplace with perfect curling up rugs for winter evenings!
