Whether they want to play out in the spacious and fenced-in yard, go on walks around town, or just relax inside, they'll be treated like family. 💛 Because I work remotely, your dog will have someone nearby for attention, play-time and potty breaks all day long. 💛 I have a sweet senior (female) dog of my own and a lifetime of experience with aging pups. My own dog is super gentle and friendly, making my home a calm, welcoming environment. My dog and I go on several leashed walks per day varying in length of time and dependent on weather; usually first thing in the morning, at around lunch time, after 4 and in the early evening. I have a large, fully fenced yard where your dog can be free to run around under supervision. Because my dog like to wander, we go on several leashed walks per day.

About: I have had the privilege of taking care of my own high energy dog, Luna, for 8 years. She has taught me all about caring for animals, such as what counts as a good walk, which treats are the best, how important belly rubs are, and that the couch is a shared space. I have trained her to have a strong recall as we go for many off leash walks. I also have experience training the basic obediences as puppies and teenage dogs, giving medication, and following medical procedure pre-cautions and guidelines. My neighbours have also asked me to look after and care for their pets along the way as well. I’m hoping to bring my knowledge of taking care of her to the dogs in town and give them the best walks and care. I’m currently a masters student with plenty of time to go on walks and explore the parks. I am used to fitting in two 1 hour walks per day and exploring different parks around the city. I am also a reliable student that can house sit while you are away. I am happy to adapt to you and your pups schedule and preferences as needed! I can easily adapt to you and your pups routine throughout our time together. If you have a favourite park I will be happy to take your pup there. I required last minute assistance with my very senior dog Ashton and was relieved when Carissa was available to keep my old man overnight so I could enjoy my Daughters wedding. Due to a hectic schedule I needed help dropping him off and of course was late picking him up. When I arrived I found my dog relaxed and could tell he was comfortable. She was understanding of my time restraints and very pleasant to deal with. I met her big teddy bear of a pup who I could see was a gentle giant compared to my frail 16 yo poodle X.
