About: Loved animals from early on. Patience and care with them while owners are away is something I can provide. Will treat them like family. Happy to help the animals. I work part time only a few hours a day, so I will help the animals with the rest of my free time. I will be able to take dogs for walkswith my dogs, or alone if necessary. She is very well set up both inside (large living space, ability to separate some dogs if needed) and outside (multiple fenced in green areas). Archie enjoyed meeting her 3 small dogs in particular. We had absolutely no concern about leaving him and when we picked him up he was so tired from all that fun that he immediately went to sleep in the car!”

About: I've spent years caring for dogs through fostering, and pet-sitting for friends, family, and neighbours. I have experience with dogs of various sizes, breeds, personalities, and support needs, including senior dogs and those with disabilities. My partner and I also recently cared for a diabetic cat over several months, giving us experience following medication schedules and providing attentive care for pets with specific health requirements. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and have continued caring for pets throughout adulthood. About: I’m a Chilean living in Canada and a lifelong animal lover, especially dogs and cats. I’ve always had pets, but for the past four years since moving here, I haven’t had the chance to share my life with one. I truly miss spending time with furry friends, although most of the time I visit two dogs that my friends kindly let me walk and spend time with. I’m usually available five days a week after 2:30 p.m., and on my two days off I’m free the whole day — but I’m flexible and happy to adjust if needed. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, as the place I’m renting doesn’t allow me to have animals. This way, they also feel more comfortable and happy in their familiar space.

Whether they want to play out in the spacious and fenced-in yard, go on walks around town, or just relax inside, they'll be treated like family. 💛 Because I work remotely, your dog will have someone nearby for attention, play-time and potty breaks all day long. 💛 I have a sweet senior (female) dog of my own and a lifetime of experience with aging pups. My own dog is super gentle and friendly, making my home a calm, welcoming environment. My dog and I go on several leashed walks per day varying in length of time and dependent on weather; usually first thing in the morning, at around lunch time, after 4 and in the early evening. About: Always had pets growing up, always happy around any dog no matter breed or size. Big fan of hiking and would be happy to bring another dog in addition to my own. I have rescue and an older cat in the home. We do feedings once a day for the dog but twice for the cat. I hike twice a week with the dog typically (weather depending), and we usually do two walks every day. I don’t leave my dog on her own due to separation anxiety, if I go anywhere that doesn’t allow dogs she is happy enough hanging in the back of my vehicle or crate home for short term, or I will get daycare for her if it’s longer term. Currently I am able to provide pet care at your home, with possible exceptions for dog care at my own residence depending on the situation. I have no problem giving a pet medication if needed and no problem if you would like the pet crated as well. I assisted in training a service dog (P.A.D.S.) which was a rewarding experience and taught me many things about training dogs, knowing their needs and how to handle them in most situations.
