“Terri gave our dog a warm welcome, and a really comfortable and safe stay while we enjoyed some dog-free time in the sun. She is clearly an animal enthusiast, and very caring. The communication was prompt, which made me feel more at ease leaving our fur-baby with her. We will definitely be going back to Terri when we come back to this area!!”

“Odessa was amazing and we would definitely use her again. She was very flexible and accommodating with our needs especially for pick up/drop off times. She sent us a lot of pictures and we felt very comfortable having her watch our little Henri. You can tell that she has a great love for dogs and really enjoys spending time with them. Would recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter in that area!”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with Lisa and Geoffrey. We did a meet and greet, then left the dogs for 4 nights later in the week. They had a blast and Lisa was great at sending photos and videos so we weren’t worrying. We will use Lisa and Geoffrey again. The dogs were happy and well looked after.”

“Our standard poodle was treated so well while staying with Colleen. Lots of walks and outdoor time. He was well taken care of and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again.”

About: 💛 I'm a life-long dog owner/dog lover! I work remotely so your dog will have constant companionship and will never be left alone. Whether they want to play out in the spacious and fenced-in yard, go on walks around town, or just relax inside, they'll be treated like family. 💛 Because I work remotely, your dog will have someone nearby for attention, play-time and potty breaks all day long. 💛 I have a sweet senior (female) dog of my own and a lifetime of experience with aging pups. My own dog is super gentle and friendly, making my home a calm, welcoming environment. My dog and I go on several leashed walks per day varying in length of time and dependent on weather; usually first thing in the morning, at around lunch time, after 4 and in the early evening. I have a large, fully fenced yard where your dog can be free to run around under supervision. Because my dog like to wander, we go on several leashed walks per day.
“While on vacation we needed a same day sitter for our dog Millie, just for a couple of hours on one day and Sarah was instantly available. She was also available a couple days later for a few more hours. Millie seems to have done fine and we were very pleased with Sarah's service.”
“Jennifer treated Winnie with lots of love during her stay! I felt comfortable leaving her with Jennifer. She gave me updates which I appreciate. I would definitely ask Jennifer to watch Winnie again :)”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kirsten who took care of our Sadie. This was our first time leaving our puppy so I was feeling quite anxious. Kirsten was amazing with her & kindly sent picture updates. Knowing Sadie was in kind & loving hands made all the difference in the world! We would highly recommend Kirsten?”

“Karen and her husband are so lovely! They looked after our pup Lily with short notice on a weekend that we really needed help. Karen was very responsive to my messages when I was checking in. It was so nice to have peace of mind that Lily was with such caring people. Highly recommend!!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of presence and care I bring to each home. I focus on maintaining pets’ routines, comfort, and emotional well-being—not just meeting their basic needs. I’m patient, observant, and calm, which helps pets feel safe, especially puppies who are still learning and seniors who need gentler, more attentive care. My routine is built around doing what’s right for the pets I care for. I plan my days to ensure reliability, consistency, and calm, so each pet feels safe and well cared for in their own home. I prioritize safety, routine, and respect. I follow care instructions carefully, maintain a calm, secure environment, and stay attentive to each pet’s physical and emotional needs. Trust matters—to both pets and their people.
“Julie was great! We loved her updates during our pups fist time boarding. A little extra reassurance for mom and dad was so appreciated. I would highly recommend Julie and we would absolutely reconnect with her again the next time we are in the Okanagan. Thanks, Julie!”

About: I have always had a dog in my life, until recently. I grew up with pets, starting at 4 months old. Love all animals, especially dogs. I assisted in training a service dog (P.A.D.S.) which was a rewarding experience and taught me many things about training dogs, knowing their needs and how to handle them in most situations. When a pet is in my care, it is my number one priority. I've dealt with dogs of all ages; from puppies to seniors. I treat them as if they were my own. I recently took early retirement, so I have plenty of time on my hands. I love to walk and explore, always making your pet my priority. I have a small, fenced (gated) back yard. Your pet can enjoy the outdoors, while under my supervision. They are welcome to make themselves comfortable, inside my home. If you require them to be crated at night, that is also not a problem.
About: I have had both dogs and cats since I was a small child. I’ve volunteered at the SPCA for years and have a 4 year old dog and 23 year old cat who I absolutely adore. I am an animal lover with a 6th sense for communicating and interacting with all animals. I am always out on adventures and would love to take your doggy along or board them overnight. My dog is the friendliest and loves playing with other dogs and any animal really! I have a big fenced in yard and live downtown Penticton close to the beaches, hiking trails and the off leash dog beach! I am currently available 7 days a week for dog/puppy/cat sitting, dog walks/adventures and doggy/cat boarding and visits! Monday-Sunday. Happy to watch your little fur ball! I have a big fenced in yard with a friendly dog who loves playing with other dogs. He’s amazing with cats and small animals. I live right on the KVR and easy excess to many adventures for your doggy!
About: Always had pets growing up, always happy around any dog no matter breed or size. Big fan of hiking and would be happy to bring another dog in addition to my own. I have rescue and an older cat in the home. We do feedings once a day for the dog but twice for the cat. I hike twice a week with the dog typically (weather depending), and we usually do one walk every day. I don’t leave my dog on her own due to separation anxiety, if I go anywhere that doesn’t allow dogs she is happy enough hanging in the back of my vehicle or crate home for short term, or I will get daycare for her if it’s longer term. There are other animals on the main property, my animals and I are in a carriage house, separate from the main house, with a fully fenced large yard and outdoor kennel space if they want to chill in there. I have no problem giving a pet medication if needed and no problem if you would like the pet crated as well. I am very open to discussing special circumstances if you have a dog that needs specific attention (medication, older, separation issues..) I am currently home full time so I have the ability to schedule my time according to your dogs needs.

About: I would like to open our home to other dogs families in need of dog daycare, walking, boarding etc. I have a 7 year old labrador retriever, and his goofy energy is contagious. He is very friendly to other dogs. I am highly organized, and love all types of dogs. I offer home check ups, dog daycare, dog boarding, and dog walking services. Having raised our pup Maple full time, from 8 weeks old, and I have a lot of patience and care to offer. I hope to hear from you soon! I work casually as a nurse, so my schedule is flexible and I can essentially pick and choose my work days which opens up my availability to care for pups :) I am comfortable with all types of dogs, and I'm happy to hang out at home with them or take them for fun times at the park. I live alone and have no children besides my fur baby.

Oliver dog parents share their Rover experiences
Leslie looked after Barley like she would look after her best friend’s dog. She considered HIS habits and needs and was so good at taking pictures and relaying activities that we didn’t miss him tooooo much. In fact, we knew we were missing him more than he was missing us. Thanks Leslie!
