About: I've been an animal care attendant at the BCSPCA for the past two years and before that, I was an animal care expert at Bosley's! I've completed all required course work for those positions and meet the SPCA and Pet Valu's knowledge and care standards. My schedule is a bit random, but I'm flexible and have no problem moving things around! I babysit occasionally and cover people at the SPCA when the need arises. If you have a backyard, it's preferably fenced and your dog has updated vaccinations and identification tags. Besides that, I'd appreciate a descriptive outline of the tasks expected of me and any behavioural quirks about your pets I should know about!

“Finn was so fantastic with our two cats- Stubbs and Finn! Twin Finns! They came for a meet and greet before the sitting date, which we appreciated as our two boys need medications, so it is nice to explain everything ahead of time. Finn was happy to come over early in the morning the day we were leaving. Finn sent pictures and updates throughout the days we were away, reassuring us that our kitties were doing great. From the pictures we received, we know they were happy and comfortable with Finn! i really appreciated Finn reaching out to us while we were away as they noticed that Stubbs' eye was leaky and wanted to check if that was normal or not. I forgot to mention his chronic leaky eye, but Finn was on top of it! We would completely trust Finn to come stay with our cats again. They were very clean and respectful of our apartment and most importantly, our cats loved them! Thanks Finn for the peace of mind and care of our babies!”

“Richelle house sat our two cats for 2 and a half weeks, and did such a fantastic job!! She sent me lots of updates and pictures, and I think the cats got more play time with her staying there than they have with me! I was able to enjoy a stress free time away thanks to Richelle’s excellent communication. She also really took care of our house well, leaving it super clean for our return which I really appreciated! Would 100% hook with Richelle again!”

About: I’m an animal lover with plenty of experience caring for both dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends and family, looking after pets with a range of personalities from energetic and playful to calm and cuddly. I’ve handled feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and everything in between. Since I can’t have pets of my own right now, I treat every visit like quality time I genuinely enjoy. Thanks for considering me to care for your pet! I am currently free almost all days as I'm looking for part time work and preparing to go to school in a few months. I hope to take pacific and Asian studies and learn to teach English as a second language aswell as learn about music. I try to always be mindful of how pets are feeling and take providing a safe and comfortable environment seriously. I want to learn as much as I can about each animal and how to provide them the best care.

I come with energy, compassion, and empathy and love taking care of animals. I am willing to go above the Call of Duty for your fur baby.

About: I’ve been caring for neighbors’ pets for over 6 years and grew up with family dogs that I routinely care for. I’m reliable, experienced, and truly love animals. I’m comfortable with walks, feedings, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they deserve—just like family. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate walks, feedings, and playtime throughout the day. I prioritize giving pets consistent attention and care, whether it’s early mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I always follow the pet owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets are in a safe, clean, and calm environment. In your home, I respect your space and routines. I’m gentle, responsible, and make sure pets feel secure, whether I’m walking them or just keeping them company.

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds for many years. Friends, family members, and neighbours have always trusted me to walk, feed, and give lots of attention to their pets while they are away. I have trained my own dogs as puppies, and have lots of experience working with with reactive/medically complex dogs. I am currently a full time University student. This leaves me with lots of time in between classes and at the end of the day to spend time with your animals! I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while caring for them in their home. I follow their usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime to reduce stress and maintain consistency. I take extra care to ensure their environment remains clean and secure, and I’m experienced in administering medications for pets with medical needs. My goal is to provide attentive, trustworthy care so both pets and owners feel at ease while apart!

About: I absolutely love all animals. We currently have a 2 year old cat, Roxi who isn’t too fond of other cats, which is the only reason I cannot board cats at this time. I’m not sure how Roxi feels about dogs, as she hasn’t had experience with them in her home. I also had Sammy, my previous cat, since she was a kitten, and she lived in three different countries with me! Unfortunately she passed at age almost 17. I have experience with her and my previous dog Daisy (a Chinese Shar-Pei) in giving medications and general pet care. I normally work as a registered nurse, usually caring for premature and sick babies. Pets are my other passion, so I am happy to care for them in my spare time. I am aways very careful to ensure that pets are safe, cannot escape (if that is their hobby), and are well loved, fed and watered. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I currently work part time and have a varied schedule. We can discuss what works for both of us to come up with a great plan to keep your pup or cat happy. I have a small un-fenced yard. I have a 2 year old cat and two kids ages 7 and 9 years, who love dogs and would be very excited to accompany me on some walks, throw toys for the dogs and give them lots of love and pets.

About: I have had all kinds of dogs growing up and have always felt a loving connection to animals. I’ve had different breeds of dogs ranging from labradors to small havanese dogs. My experience with animals has provided me with knowledge on how to ensure that animals are in a safe environment. I am also very active and love to get some physical activity in with my dogs and have also found effective training strategies! I am often asked to take care of other peoples pets and spend some quality time with them which has given me the opportunity to work with all kinds of dogs (and get to know many personalities!) my schedule is currently very open which allows me flexibility to be available for you. Let me know what you are looking for and I will ensure it works with my schedule. It is important to establish a sense of trust when I first meet your pup and I will ensure they feel comfortable and happy! Let’s book a meet-and-greet session to start :)
