About: Hey! I’m a Veterinary Assistant with 4 years of experience working in clinic. This has taught me many valuable skills including post surgical / wound care, administration of various medications, dietary needs, and many other pet caring skills. I also have spent a great deal of time caring for my own elderly doggy who recently passed from cancer. This in conjunction with my training has given me a great deal of experience working with high need pets who require complicated care. I’ve also done some casual cat and dog sitting for family, friends, and coworkers. Since my own doggie passed I have been missing my pet time and thought this would be the perfect way to get my fix! :) This September I’ll be going into full time school, as a student I will need to be on the VIU campus for 2-8 hours daily on weekdays. I’ll be available for pet care before and after class, and all day on weekends. :) As someone who has worked with pets of all kinds with varying medical and physical needs you can rest assured that I will have both the skills and knowledge to give your pet the absolute best care!

About: My love for animals has equipped me with years of experience from puppies to senior dogs and cats. I have cared for pets with anxiety, allergies, behavioural issues, etc and am confident with all sizes and breeds of dog. I have some familiarity with cats and other small animals as family and friends beloved pets. I work full-time but I am still available to give your pets the love and attention they deserve, give me a shout and we can figure out a schedule that works best for everyone. I treat every animal I meet like it's my own beloved pet. I give animals space and time to feel comfortable around me before I interact with them. Im confident with on and off leash walks and hikes. I am knowledgeable in basic dog first aid but am not certified yet. My pet care is to be provided in your homes with your equipment and care instructions.

About: I have been caring for pets of family and friends since I was a child and always put in the extra time for exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. I have successfully helped puppies complete puppy training and offer caring support to elderly animals and those with special medical needs. I do contract work and have a lot of time off so can be with your pets for extended amounts of time. I live in the forest close to a provincial park I visit regularly and can provide long nature walks for your dogs. While I currently don't have any of my own pets at this time, I will enthusiastically cherish the time I get to spend with yours!

About: Mature and reliable pet care at your home or my home. Large fenced yard - daily walks and lots of cuddles. Have cared for various dogs and other pets for over 30 years. I’m currently working from home so am available to care for and walk your pet and can either care for them in your home or in my home. I have two friendly dogs who are used to sharing. I have a fenced yard and large house to care for your fur baby. If you require dog walking or care in your own home I can accommodate your preferences.

About: I've cared for a few dogs over the last several years. Neighbours, family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, house and love their dogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am free almost every afternoon and evening. Weekends after 1pm and Tuesday to Thursday I'm available all day. I am happy to come to your home to care for your pup, or take her for her walks. My yard is fenced, but my cats are territorial so I couldn't invite your pups over.

About: I have owned one dog and a few cats over the years. Currently, i have no pets as we had to put our dogs of 18 years down last year. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am available most days and am comfortable walking your dog in any weather condition. I am a reliable person who always follows through with her commitments and goes above and beyond. I also have a lot of experience with cats as I had them all of my life growing up. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, dietary restrictions, etc. I look forward to working with your fur baby. I work from home so I am able to let dogs outside in our fenced dog run whenever needed if boarding with me. I can also come to your house to pick up for walks I have two fenced in dog runs on the property and a big side yard (unfenced). I am able to take your dog to a number of trails and parks. We also have a large unfinished basement where my office is located so I spend most of my time there during the day

About: I have been a pet parent since I was a wee lass, owned mostly dogs and cats but I've also had rabbits, birds, fish and lizards. I have experience with all ages of animals and I used to foster and help train groups of puppies for a rescue agency. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can be available daytime and evenings as needed. I am also available for overnight stays. About: Now certified in DOGSAFE First Aid and CPR training. CPS-DW Certification for Pet Sitter and Dog walking courses. I CAN ALSO PROVIDE DAY CARE IN YOUR HOME FOR $40 (UP TO 8 HOUR STAY). Previously i have been blessed with a Persian cat, a Sheltie, Terrier, Shepherd cross with a whippet (yes beautiful mix), two Golden Retrievers and several other cats. I Also currently volunteer at Alberni SPCA. I lost my 12 year old Golden last year 😥, and cannot emotionally commit to own another dog, so the next best thing for me is to dog sit your fur kids and volunteer my time at the shelter. I devote my volunteer time to snuggling cats and dogs, as well as providing wellness to dogs through walks, positive reinforcement training and cleaning their kennels. I have also taken care of chickens!! I work remotely and have a reliable vehicle so provided you have good wifi for my remote work, my schedule can be tailored to your needs! Tell me what you need and we can work with your schedule. I can come to your home for walks on a schedule or on the fly, drop in to snuggle your dog, cat or other animals including chickens! (Well i may not snuggle your chickens)🐔 My service provides daycare or overnight stays at your residence. This provides a stress free way for you to leave your fur kids, knowing they have the comforts of home.

About: I grew up on a farm with multiple house pets & got my first dog at 15. I hike with my dogs every weekend with long walks during the week. I got into pet sitting after I dog sat for friends and family for years. I have experienced with multiple different behavioural and medical needs (pets in diapers, needles for diabetes, heart medications, reactive large breeds, etc) & a wide range of experience caring for different types of animals including cats, dogs, ferrets, sugar gliders, farm animals, etc. Growing up on a farm, I have experience caring for larger animals as well. I treat each animal like my own and can cater to the needs of each individual pet. I work as a homeless outreach worker for CMHA. My husband is a car salesman at Van isle FORD. I like to let my pets out at least every 2 hours, but we also spend lots of time outside. I spend most my time outside of work with my dogs, going on hikes, walks, swims or participating in one of my favourite sports. I have a large 2 story home so there’s lots of room for animals if they are inside. If they aren’t, that’s okay too. I live on 3/4 of an acre and have a fully fenced yard with two separate spaces if there’s multiple pets. I have 2 amazing dogs at home - one who loves to have some company, and although the other one rules the house, she steers clear of other pets. My cat is basically a dog, he’s the best.
