About: I am a veterinary professional that has been working in the industry for over a decade. I am a Veterinary Technologist licensed by the ABVMA to practice in Alberta. I am trained and certified in advanced CPR. I am able to administer medications and provide advice and care that is backed up by real scientific facts as well as my vast experinece in pet care. I am able to care for senior dogs and those that have very specific needs. I am currently available full time to provide all services listed. I am able to pick up and drop off dogs for boarding at my house on the farm. I have multiple fenced in areas on 3 acres of land where individual dogs can have quiet one on one time with me or play with other dogs. I am currently allowing 4 dogs at the farm at one time. I have 2 dogs of my own so my attention will be on 6 dogs only at a time. This will ensure each dog gets plenty of love and attention from me throughout the day! I have cats in the house hold but they are not allowed outside where the dogs will be. I have converted the barn into a dog boarding facility with ample space for each dog to rest and stretch. And 3 acres of room to play and have fun! I have plenty of toys for the dogs but do drop of your pets favourite toys along with their crate and food. I do not allow raw meat diets in my home. I use pet safe products for cleaning and disinfecting and do not keep anything toxic to animals.

“Thadora did an amazing job taking care of Tito for 11 days! Tito actually got a little sick from doggy daycare before I left to go out of town, but Thadora did a great job recognizing that he wasn’t feeling his best and escalating and she even took him to the vet to make sure it wasn’t anything too serious. I was SO appreciative to have her so that I didn’t need to worry too much while I was out of the country. She sent me lots of photos and videos and Tito loved her so much! I am sure Tito cannot wait until my next trip to have Thadora visit him again. ❤️🐶”

About: At home i have 2 wonderful dogs, I like to teach them basic tricks while taking them on walks. While I take care of your pets I’ll make sure that they’re happy and comfortable while you’re away! I work Monday to Friday 8-5. I have every other Monday off leaving me 3 day weekends and enough time for you and your family to go on a trip to wherever you’d like! Can also come during the week after work! Im very by the book and will do whatever it is you need me to do to keep your pet happy. I also am very careful and gentle.

“This was our first time using Rover or a house/dog sitter and we were not sure what to expect. From our first messages and meeting in person with Carmen we could see she was a very genuine, trusting person and had a love for dogs! We had Carmen stay with our dog Valentino for 5 days while we were on Holidays and We think Valentino and Carmen became besties for life. The day we left Carmen arrived early to go over any last questions or concerns and made us feel comfortable leaving Valentino at home with her. When we were away she updated us daily and sent videos and pictures to assure us Valentino was safe and having fun! When we arrived home Carmen left our house clean and in the same state as we left it in, also Valentino was very sad to see her go. We would highly recommend Carmen to anyone looking for a trusting pet lover to watch their pets while away and will definitely be looking at having her stay with Valentino again in the future as long as she is providing her services. I sit, they stay, you relax! I am currently working part-time, but am available for daytime, evening, overnights and weekend care as needed. I’m flexible and willing to accommodate any hours! I have access to a fenced yard and also have a dog/human park situated nearby with many paths should your furry family member require more exercise. I also have a large kennel available should they need a secure place of their own to feel more comfortable.

“Ronilyn stayed at our place for the weekend while we were away. Our dogs bonded with her right away during the meet and greet which is great. She was very responsive and sent photos of the dogs over the weekend and took them for walks. A few things to note which should have been communicated before the stay on our end are that the heat was turned up quite a bit when we got home, the poop wasn’t picked up in the yard while we were away, and the dogs dug in the wood chips so that needed to be cleaned up when we got home. Again she was amazing with the dogs and they loved her. This was a learning experience for us as we now know that we should be more direct and explicit with what we expect out of the person watching the dogs.”
