Ronilyn gave me peace of mind while I was visiting family in Japan for 2 weeks. It was the first time using this service and was nervous since it was my first time leaving care of my pets to a someone I didn’t know however they did an excellent job ensuring my cats had plenty of food and water during their drop in visits. She even took the time to take pictures of my shy little lumps hiding under the covers. Will definitely ask her to help again in the future!

About: I was on rover before under Tracy P. I have experience with dogs, cats, ferrets, geckos, birds, etc! I have a senior dog, Bailey, who is a min pin. She is 13 years old. I have looked after puppies to seniors and all the in between I look after animals all day, everyday! I have two boys, 10 and 8 who absolutely love helping me on weekends to look after the fur babies. I have a fully fenced yard with a heavy gate on one side and a shed on the other, no escaping from my yard. I walk dogs during the day, and do drop in visits. Otherwise I am home with my kids and fur baby

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child, and animals have always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with feeding, grooming, walking, bathing, and both potty and crate training. I’ve also helped with basic obedience training and understand the patience and consistency pets need to feel safe and happy. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me with their pets, knowing I treat every animal as my own. I’m dependable, gentle, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I currently work remote, so have a lot of flexibility to board at my home and attend to your pets needs throughout their stay or visit your home and take care of walks, potty breaks, play time, and grooming. I have a fully fenced yard in my townhouse so dogs can enjoy safe, supervised time outside. Inside, pets are welcome to enjoy furniture, yes, that includes the couch. I keep my space clean and pet-friendly and free of hazards. When I care for pets in a clients home, I do my best to maintain their usual routines and respect their habits and space. I'm mindful and tidy and make sure pets have access to fresh water and clean litter boxes, and lots of attention. My focus is to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable.

About: I grew up with all sorts of animals - hamsters, rabbits, hedgehogs, chinchillas, budgies, & fish. I currently have a yorkie/shitzu, two cats, and a small tank of fish. I have dog & cat sat for friends/family but now that my dog is a senior, he's gotten a little more grumpy so I no longer care for other people's animals in my own home. I only do drop-in visits now so that my own furbabies are not home alone. I do have experience giving oral medication to both cats and dogs. I am not working at the moment so will have lots of time to check on your furbaby, feed & play with him/her, and send you updates/pics! I offer drop-in care in your home to keep your beloved family member feeling safe & comfortable in familiar surroundings. I will follow any special care instructions to the letter & give your dog/cat all the love they deserve.

Alyssa is a wonderful and responsive sitter. She was flexible with the meet and greet time, paid attention to all my cat's known risks, followed instructions, and had no trouble giving him liquid oral meds. I appreciated her notes at the end of each visit detailing what she saw and did. Would book again!

About: 🐾 Availability Update Summer 2026 is fully booked. I am now accepting bookings for the Christmas holidays, but availability is limited and filling quickly. I’ve been providing professional pet care for over three years and have been fortunate to build lasting relationships with many wonderful clients and their pets. I intentionally keep my client list small so I can provide attentive, personalized care and build genuine bonds with every animal I look after. I’m excited to welcome a few new pets and families into my routine and look forward to meeting you and your furry companions! 🐶🐱❤️ I work full-time Monday through Friday; however, my weekends are fully open and I always prioritize my pet clients’ schedules. I’m experienced in coordinating care around varying routines and am happy to work together to find what best suits your pet’s needs. For the comfort and consistency of the pets I care for, I primarily provide overnight care in my clients’ homes. This allows pets to stay in their familiar environment and maintain their regular routines. I’m not offering boarding at this time, though this may change around November 2026.

This was the first time I've left Bee all by herself and she was well loved and content when I returned. David sent me photos for every check-in and took time to play with her and talk to her. I highly recommend him; he put my mind at ease and I could enjoy my vacation.

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Zoe. She did drop-in visits for our four cats over two weeks and truly went above and beyond in every way. Her communication was excellent—she provided detailed notes after each visit along with lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Zoe also took amazing care of our home. She even shoveled when it snowed and brought in packages that arrived while we were gone, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we returned, the house smelled fresh and clean—not like litter at all—which says so much about the level of care she put in. We would absolutely recommend Zoe to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring pet sitter.

About: I am an educator that has gone to peoples homes to work with children. My favourite part is all of the different pets I get to see which they all love me. I work part time for the county doing customer service and tutor sometimes in the evenings. I can be gone from 6-8 hours on some days or home all day depending on my schedule. I love to spend all of my free time cuddling with pets or going on walks ❤️. I am a very clean individual and so I always like to make sure I leave it just as clean when I leave. Not only that but I always ensure that I give focus to animals, playing with them frequently, going on walks (if cats like it I do walks for them too!), and of course taking care of their needs.

About: Having owned two wonderful dogs in my life and been a special friend & "aunt" of several other dogs and some cats. I am highly experienced and motivated to help you care for your beloved furry family members. I am warm, friendly and calm around animals and I find they are naturally drawn to me. I am trained in reiki and use gental reiki energy to balance and relax your pets in your absence. I do contract work and I am writing a book, so my time is flexible and I am available to spend quality time with your pets. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

  • 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
