About: I have been around animals my whole life. I briefly worked in a vet clinic during undergrad, so I am comfortable with senior animals, active animals, and administering medication. I also volunteered with the San Diego Humane Society’s Wildlife program in the past, as well as the Long Beach Aquarium. Although I am used to caring for mainly cats and dogs, I love all animals and would love to help you with other pets such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, bunnies, birds, etc. My sister is also starting vet school this fall, so she is only a phone call away if needed. :) Your pet’s comfort and safety are top priorities for me, and I will care for them as if they were my own! I am a post-bacc student, and also a server/bartender 3 days a week. I currently have the summer off from classes (until late September), so I have more flexibility right now for pet sitting/walking. My times can vary a bit on the nights that I work at the restaurant, but contact me and I am happy to coordinate our schedules. I will have the utmost respect for your home and your pets. I know it can be scary to trust someone you don't know with your pet and home, so I strive to do a great job and keep your pet(s) happy! Please feel free to provide me with a list of rules and expectations, and we can work together to make sure you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible with me. I do not offer boarding in my own home at the moment, only because my 2 cats become very stressed when other animals are brought into the home. I need to respect their boundaries and comfort levels as well.

“Irina took care of my dog on a regular basis over the past few months. She is amazing. She’s always available when I need her and she is flexible with my work hours. She sends me videos of her with my dog and makes sure he is happy before leaving him. I would recommend irina to anyone who needs help with their pet! :)”

I genuinely love and care for them with my whole heart. Whether it’s going on long walks, giving belly rubs, or just providing a calm, safe space for them to relax, I’m fully present and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I’m experienced with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and care routines, and I always show up with patience, compassion, and reliability. When your pet is with me, they’re not just being looked after they’re being loved. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, patience, and natural intuition with animals. I understand body language, stress signals, and energy levels, and I tailor my care to match each pet’s unique needs. Whether your dog loves high-energy walks or prefers slow, snuggly companionship, I’m here to provide comfort, structure, and lots of love. I’m also highly dependable and keep you updated with photos and notes so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I run my own business as a personal trainer, which gives me the flexibility to create a schedule that works around your pet’s needs. Because I manage my own time, I’m able to prioritize pet care throughout the day. Whether that’s early morning walks, mid-day drop-ins, or evening check-ins. This flexibility allows me to be fully present and dependable. I treat every pet I care for with the same love and attention I’ve given my own dogs for over 22 years. Your pet's routine becomes a part of my routine, and I’m happy to accommodate what makes them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I have 3 friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own who love the company of other animals. My home is calm, pet-friendly, and a great environment for dogs to feel comfortable, play, or relax. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space as if it were my own and follow your routines carefully. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, making sure they feel secure, loved, and at ease. I understand how important trust is when it comes to your pets, they’re family. That’s why I provide clear communication, photo updates, and genuine care every step of the way.

“Jacqueline is amazing. Very communicative, friendly, and trustworthy. I am a new Rover user and was nervous about having someone come walk my dog, but Jacqueline has made the process wonderful. Would recommend her to anyone! My dog is always so excited to see her!”

About: I have always had dogs in my life! I’ve been dog sitting for years and have always owned dogs :) I love dog sitting so I can give people’s fur babies love and care that I would give my own pets ! I’m currently working part time as a barista 3 days a week. Other than that i’m post grad and just studying for my LSAT so i have endless amounts of free time. I make sure to always keep an eye on others dogs because peoples pets are family members so i make sure to be super safe and cautious when pet sitting!

About: I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for my current and previous boss - having their dogs overnight and going on all kinds of adventures! We have so much fun, I simply cannot get enough of dogs :) I’m currently working part time in the afternoons, so I am available for dog walking or potty break check ins in the mornings or later in the evenings on the weekdays. Specific availability: M-F: 8am-12pm; 6:30pm-9pm. During the weekend, I’m available with a 2-week advance notice for overnight care Saturdays-Sundays! I live in an apartment complex with a big area for dogs to run around, play fetch, explore, etc.. I do hourly walks when dogs stay at my home. When we stay at your home, I try to stick to whatever routine you guys have, and always love to add in something special (like a trip to the beach for a night walk) if you are okay with that!

About: I've always been a cat lover! I had two kittens since I was 17 years old, but I had to leave them at home (Bay Area) when I went to school in SoCal. In 2023 I adopted my own Siamese kitten! Since adoption I have taught him how to do tricks and harness trained him to go on walks! I also regularly clip his nails and brush his fur and bathe him once in awhile so I know how to be gentle with cats and to groom them without agitating them.I am also a super calm person and can handle cats that are anxious/territorial and have experience in giving medication in various forms such as liquid, pills, and injections. I am currently a PhD student at UCI. My daily schedule is usually very flexible as I do partially work from home. I make my own schedule for the most part which means that I'll be able to accomodate your pet's schedule. I live in a three story house with lots of space. My room is also a huge master bedroom full of cat shelves as well as scratching posts and plenty of space for cats to run and jump around. I have a litter robot in addition to a regular litter box which means that the cats won't have to worry about a dirty bathroom and even get to choose which one they want to use! I have a super friendly cat who is playful and respectful! He's super chill and loves other cats so you don't need to worry about him! My sister does have a dog, but she is gone most of the time as she loves to travel. There will also be a barrier that separates the dog from where the cats will be so there will be NO CONTACT between the cats and the dog. Your cats' safety is my priority and I have a few cameras around so I will always be able to monitor your cats even if I am not physically present.

“Mehvish has been walking Murphy consistently for sometime now, and she has always treated him with dignity and prioritizes his well being. She truly is amazing person, anyone would be lucky to have her watch after their furry friend!”
