“Evelyn is a wonderful and responsible walker and sitter and takes great care of my dog Freckles. She always spends a full 30 minutes with her (and often longer) and makes sure she has lots of love and attention while I’m away at work. When it’s very hot she pays special attention to Freckles’ comfort and will take her back inside to cool off if she needs it, but still makes sure the visit is the full length of time. I always receive detailed follow-up and adorable photos when the walk is done. Evelyn has had to deal with a couple accidents and has been gracious in cleaning them up before putting Freckles back in her crate. I (and Freckles) highly recommend Evelyn!”

About: Hi there! I’m Net.🙂 I’m the go-to gal of my friends and family for watching their four-legged kid - and I love that reputation. I’m here to help ease those worries of last-minute changes to your everyday itinerary or lessen stress when being cross-country on travel - I get that because being there has done the same! And what is more of a bonus for me to make another pal? Seems like a win-win situation if you ask me. For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated and compassionate when it comes to animals. They have always been one of my favorite things in this world. Growing up with birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, you name it - really helped that love grow and helped me to also learn how to be responsible, coordinate time management and even how to properly take care of them along the way at a young age. Fast-forward - I took the next step to wanting to know and learn more about them. So I signed myself up back in 2017 and took an online course to more knowledge and become a vet assistant where I later on finished my hours at a local vet hospital. I was taught valuable skills, such as patience in the field, restraint techniques, administering medication and the importance of detail, etc. I even have some background in doggy daycare! What can I say? I can’t get enough of these little guys. Learning everything from grooming and bathing techniques, to animal behavior of personalities and the ability to understand each animal’s needs and anxieties. Don’t forget the play! I’ll even put on a good jam for us too and break out in a dance party. Putting more experience under my belt in something that fills my soul and cup. I always say when you enjoy something you love it first, and it’s a job second. Hopefully, I’ll have the opportunity and chance to meet your dog, too! 🐶🤍 I’m currently working early in the morning, so I have a lot of downtime to take care of and hang out with your little one(s). Monday through Saturday, I’m free after 12:30pm and all day Sundays. Occasionally, I could have an extra day off during the middle of the week. Just shoot me a message! I will be more than happy to accommodate what I can. I have a whole pack at home myself. Did I mention that? Yup! Five in total to be exact. Ranging from all different breeds, the oldest is almost 13 and the youngest just turned 1. So keeping them occupied is definitely something we have adjusted and accommodated to. We have a whole fenced-in yard, a toy box that can't fit much left, walks are a very essential part of our daily life and activity, and we tend to rotate our pack in groups from going to breweries/wineries, to hikes and even events such as dog parks, farmers market and whatever else events tend to be happening at the time. If this is something you're interested in acclimating and a small dose over time, happy to bring them along with! Of course, the occasional cupcakes and cookies I make for my kids at home. About: I've had dogs in my family for over 30 years and cats for over 10 years! Animals should be treated with kindness and love because that's what they give us. I understand the time and attention that new pets require as well as the gentle and caring touch that all pets deserve. I've always been my friend's dog sitter and own two cats of my own. I'm a teacher so I will be free for most of the summer during the week. I enjoy the outdoors so would love to take your dog for a walk and also care for your cat or dog indoors. I've never had a fish but would happily check in on those water babies as well! At this time, I am not able to board your cat or dog in my apartment as I have two cats of my own. Thanks.

About: My love for animals began early on once I rescued my first childhood pet. Throughout my life I have walked and taken care of animals however, my love grew insurmountably when I rescued my first dog (Gordy) myself. Gordy and I loved walking, hiking, going on adventures, and snuggling. Unfortunately, in November 2024 he was diagnosed with a variety of complicated health problems and passed away in April 2025. That journey led me have experience in handling diabetic dogs (giving insulin, being aware of behavioral changes, and giving medication). I also have some experience/knowledge in dog training as Gordy was a canine good citizen. I am acutely aware of how to successfully walk and handle hyperactive pups and love to provide other enriching activities. I am communicative and love interacting with both dogs and humans and I find it important to gain the trust of you as I know all too well how much your pup means to you. I am a licensed mental health counselor who currently works primarily at home. I have a flexible schedule allowing plenty time for a good walk and enrichment while also providing appropriate downtime and attention. While I do live in an apartment, I have access to a number of parks in the Troy area while also willing to travel to surrounding areas for more fun.

About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I only work mornings and part time so that I have time for my cat as well because he needs to be watched. After my morning shifts I have all day to spend time outside to walk the dogs and get them their daily exercise. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born. I'm patient, attentive, and skilled at administering medications and handling special diets. The most important job is to protect all pets and making sure they get the love they deserve. Right now I am not employed so I am always free. I am currently looking for a job that is only during the week days so I can have weekends free. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, and medication if needed. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 14 years old, whether it was for friends or family members. I have also taken care of older animals who need medicine and special care so I am experienced in that section. Additionally I’ve had multiple cats and dogs in my own home, that I’ve taken care of since they were kittens and puppies. I have a part time door dashing job. Which means I. About: I’ve owned animals my whole life, but didn’t get into professional animal care till about 2 years ago. Since then I have worked at several daycares and been the Assistant Manager at one! I’ve been around all types of pups from your most nervous dogs to your ultra reactive barkers. I’m always willing to work with you and your dogs! I have plenty of time to see your pups as I work primarily in the morning. I am also very flexible with drop-ins and can do most last minute appointments. DISCLAIMER: I do not stay overnight for my house-sitting requests. I have 5 dogs of my own that while I’d love to bring them with me, I cannot. I am able to be there first thing in the AM and as late as needed in the afternoon. My own pup loves other dogs so if you’re comfortable with your pup having a doggy friend, she is able to tag along! I am comfortable with any necessary oral medication administering, normal feedings, and normal play time with the pups! I am also able to do light training if interested. If needed, I can also do nail trims for an additional price.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs ranging from a few months old through seniors, and am comfortable giving daily medications and following specialized feeding plans. I currently have very open availability in the afternoons and on weekends, and am open to pet care or drop ins whenever I am available! I ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and happy by closely following the owner’s instructions. I provide consistent care, and build trust with positive reinforcement, playtime, and loving attention, while respecting the client's home and personal space.
