“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”

About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.

About: ***New Note on Profile*** I recently welcomed a new addition to my family, an Austrailian Shepard puppy named Sapphire 🤗 she was born May 12th 2024. With her being my new best friend & fur baby, I am most interested in entertaining clients and bookings where she is welcome to come along with me. If this is not possible for you or your pets & home, please skip requesting me and pursue another sitter. Thank you! About me: I have been actively building my pet sitting network of beloved clients (2 legged & 4 legged) since 2020. These past 4+ years sparked the beginning of a dream come true I didn’t even know I had. From all the positive experiences, connections, and adventure I’ve had with animals during this time in my home state of Maine, the future is looking bright as my network and experience grows. My favorite part of this all by far is the growing connections and continuing relationships between me and my favorite pets and their owners. From weekly repeat dog walks to being families go to for overnights in their home or mine, I really love deepening connections with returning clients as well as meeting and forming special loving connections with new pets and their people as well! And, of course, the adventures, snuggles, hugs, kisses, toys, and treats make it all the more fun. 😊 As a person with a background in holistic energy work and the healing arts - yoga, reiki, herbalism, permaculture- I have a strong connection with the heart & soul of each animal, plant, person, and all of Nature. When it comes to pets, I recognize they are our allies and best friends, as well as often times our healers, teachers, and of course our beloved family. Since I was born and throughout my childhood into adulthood I have always had multiple pets in my home at any given time so I always love and am most comfortable with animals with me and around me. As an animal and plant person by Nature, I “speak their language” and make it a priority and joy to tune in with their needs whether just being together sharing space or enjoying exploring life together. When at home (mine or yours) I am quiet, peaceful, tidy and neat. I believe that being a strong loving presence wherever we are and improving the spaces we visit to leave them better than we I found it is one of our greatest purposes in Life. Your pets and home will be very well taken care of, at ease, and loved with me by the grace of God. I have somewhat of a green thumb (I have been studying, learning, and practicing year by year) and am an aspiring herb & food grower, forager, folk herbalist, and novice yet passionate baker. So, your plants and gardens can also be well cared for by me with your instructions. I have some homestead and farm experience - horses, chickens, goats, gardens, and am willing to learn other livestock care as well. I also have also had experience caring for reptilian pets in the past and am open to snakes, birds, lizards, rodents, fish, you name it. If we agree it’s a good match and I’m taking care of your home, just tell me what you want & need taken care of and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure you come home to a happy and comfortable home, almost like you never left! Rover is fun for me because you never know who you’re going to meet! I am open to all kind and loving humans and animals. As long as you have good virtues, love life and all around you to the fullest, I’m sure it will be a good match and it will be an honor to support each other. I currently am nearly full time pet sitting and also work part time as a rental property manager. On any given day I can be found taking dogs on adventures in the midcoast area peppered in with other responsibilities for my property management job. When pet sitting in your home for your animal(s) I am typically available to accommodate your pet’s normal schedule, to spend time with them, drop in throughout the day for visits, or bring them along with me on adventures with other dogs throughout the day. I prefer bookings where your pets can be left home unattended for 2-4 hour increments to accommodate my part time work schedule. In your home I will follow your instructions and duplicate however you care for your pet & home with the utmost care & respect. You tell me! I love going on walks, hikes, beach or dog park adventures, playing ball, frisbee, doing doggie playdates or custom adventures. I am as adventurous or relaxed as your pet needs me to be. Does your dog loves a walk on the beach or a fun hike? I know a spot! Jump in, let’s go! But if they’d rather stay home, take short strolls, play in the yard, and snuggle that’s great too. 😊

“Elizabeth amazing! Lots of pictures and great communication. You can tell she really loves caring for doggos and treated my little guy like he was her own. Pretty sure my dog was little sad to have to come back home to me. Ha! Will be using her again!”

“Jaclyn is a thoughtful, communicative, accommodating dog care provider- I so appreciate her emphasis on slow introductions! My dogs had a blast and they are completely tuckered out - we can't wait to come back!”

About: * If you live in Poland I will give you a 10% discount on house sitting Hi, I’m Makaylah! I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide range of pets—including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, mice, and chickens. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent years volunteering at shelters and helping friends and family with their pets. I work from home full-time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of time, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I’m especially passionate with working with shy or nervous dogs and always take things at their pace. Patience & No pressure. I use positive reinforcement to build trust and keep things low-stress. If you're okay with it, I’d love to include a little fun, low-key trick training during my visits. I've helped dogs learn sit, down, shake, speak, spin, and touch (nose to hand), always with treats and praise. It’s a great way to keep them mentally engaged and build confidence, especially for anxious pups. I’m also experienced in administering oral medications and caring for senior or special-needs pets. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how they’re doing. Let me know what your pet needs. I’m happy to help however I can! Im wfh and have pets of my own so I'm always home! My schedule is overall very flexible, and I can shift things around to make things work especially for repeats. Go on vacation or give yourself a weekend away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your care instructions closely and keep routines consistent to help your pet feel secure. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard where they can play and explore safely. No matter the place, I will focus on maintaining a calm, secure environment.

“Molly is so sweet and kind it made leaving our baby a little easier. She was so understanding with our timeline changes and open to do whatever we need. She sent pictures and let me ask a million questions and it was peace of mind. I would 10/10 recommend Molly!!”

About: I have lots of experience working with animals, including time working at an animal hospital during high school, where I learned to care for pets of all kinds. I’m familiar with administering medications and meeting the unique needs of different animals. I am currently searching for a summer job while taking a couple summer classes while i finish my associate degree. My schedule is very open! In my home i have one dog a very friend golden retriever who loves playdates and we have a big yard by woods. I’m very attendant and anxious so i spend a lot of time outside with my dog and love going for walks

About: Ive grown up around many different types of dogs. And am currently taking a course for pet grooming, and will be taking the course for dog training after! I'm available anytime between 7am and 2pm, and 3pm being the latest. Wednesdays and Saturdays are the best for boarding! Dogs and cats that are good with other dogs are a must, since my dog Penny goes everywhere with me! I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard, but I do frequently take my dog (she's a spunky little 12yr old Xolo/Chihuahua mix) to the dog park here in Lewiston as well as go over to my grandmother's who does have a HUGE fenced in yard. And we also go on hikes to some of the trails close to town. So not only will your Pup get out often, but he/she will have about 5 other dogs to have playtime with. I also have 2 crates, so if your Pup requires to be kenneled at all I can do that.

About: I have had pets my whole life, ranging from cats and dogs to birds and lizards. Ive always had an affinity for animals, especially dogs, and would do anything I could for them. I understand that everyone has there own way of training and caring for there lovely pet and I would be more than happy to work with an owner to provide custom care for each new friend. I currently have a job during the day, however I am generally done at 2 and would love to provide care any time I can! I live right between two parks and frequently go spend time outside, especially at the beach once all the dogs are allowed. I hope to be able to spend more time with your pet soon! Im currently looking to make pet care a big part of my life. I have a passion for gardening and art as well, however Ive always connected so easily with pets and would love to make it a career I have a small house so the majority of the time with a dog would be spent outside playing. I have a nice little yard and live close to an awesome dog park and many lovely walking areas
