About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. About: I grew up having cats, dogs, and up to 14 rabbits at a time. I found a passion for caring for animals about eight years ago when I attended school to get my certification in Veterinary Assisting. During my time in school, I took an internship at my local animal shelter. I assisted in surgery, provided medical care, administered vaccinations, fed, and cleaned over 50 animals a day; I had my hands on every single animal that came through the shelter. Once my internship was over, they asked me to stay as an Isolation Technician and Veterinary assistant. I was employed there for a little over two years. After my time at the shelter, I worked as a Kennel Technician at a private practice that was much more laid back and routine. I would provide care for 1 dog to up to 60 at a time. About: Hello my name is Brooke! I am a recent high school graduate at I will be attending college at Smcc studying early childhood, I will be commuting to and from daily ( this makes me have a pretty flexible schedule to help! )I am free most days of the week and have 2 German Shepard dogs of my own ! I also have grown up around dogs the last 18 years of my life. Something that sets me apart from the other sitters is that I have experience with senior dog care and being able to take it slow, or if you have the complete opposite dog im able to meet their energy needs as well. I have handled big dogs that are reactive, have sensitive triggers, and small dogs of the same, im able to meet their needs! I do not at this time do overnight stays, im okay with coming to hangout and play, take them outside, or feed the dogs or cats but I will not be staying in the home. I am a newly graduate from Morse high school and I will be going to Smcc to study early childhood development and in my off time I enjoy dogs and cats a lot that I choose to help others who may need help in my off time from school, this makes me have a very flexible schedule. I prioritise making a safe environment for every pet in my care, in your home or out on a walk, I take the time to understand their routines and get to know them. For dog owners, I am very confident in walking big and small dogs, those who may have reactivity or need extra leash awareness making them enjoyable for the animal. For cat owners, I will be able to stop in for a time limit we discus and meet the needs of the cat for the day, I make sure each cat feels safe while you are away.
About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. I would be available for daytime care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am available throughout the week days after 5 pm. I can take your dogs out for walks around town, the dog park, or your neighborhood. If transporting in the car I have multiple ways to make sure they are safe including harnessing them, crating them, etc. I am also able to bathe the dog if desired.

When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before. “I was nervous about using Rover for my 3-yr old Yorkie, but it worked out fantastic! Rose sent updates and pictures through our dogs stay. Her yard is fenced in so that was a real treat for our dog. About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

About: I recently lost my 14 y/o Coonhound (Jazzy) She was the bestest girl in the world, and the best friend anyone could ask for. I am not ready for another dog just yet, but I would love to have another heartbeat in the house. My schedule is very flexible, in the event that I have to run some errands, I am happy to take your dog for a car ride with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard and in close proximity to trails for long walks that I often frequent. Also, I could not be happier to have your dog hang out on the couch with me while I read or work from home.
