Elliot and Dominque are wonderful! I’ve used them for daycare a couple of times to get my pup comfortable there before an upcoming trip next month. I know he’ll be in good hands. I very much appreciate their professionalism and frequent communication/updates!

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!

Another awesome stay with Susan and Ella! This is the perfect, safe, playful, loving environment for our one and a half year old lab mix. The backyard is basically dog heaven, and Susan makes sure to keep all dogs safe and happy. All of the dogs that Susan hosts are awesome, and our girl always has a great time. Susan always checks in with videos and pictures, and her care for and knowledge of dogs shows every time. Having our pup stay with such a trustworthy, caring family is a huge relief to us while we are at work or out of town. Thank you Susan! :)

I have two reviews to write here. Mine first. That Mark cared for Gus during my first week at a new job brought so much peace of mind. Mark was accommodating with pickup and drop off times and communicated during the day with pictures and notes. I had no stress about Gus being in good hands. Now from Gus. I am a pandemic pup—totally attached to my empty nester parents (though I really do love everyone.) I loved going to Mark’s house—hopped right out of my mom’s car and ran up to his gate. We went on walks and I got to be pals with his dogs. We played and played and I was so tired when my mom picked me up. I think she was too so she was really happy that I just wanted to lay on the clinch when we got home. Mark took really good care of me and I hope I get to go back. ??

We are new to the area and didn't know anyone who could watch our dogs for the day while we moved from our rental into our new house, so using Rover was an obvious choice. We needed someone to pick up our two dogs early at the rental and drop them off late at the new house and Adriana agreed to both. Even when I contacted her to ask if she could keep them a little longer since the move wasn't complete, she agreed to do so without any additional fees. She didn't even complain when one of the dogs threw up in her car and defecated in her home. (Sorry about that!) I would definitely call on Adriana again if the need arises.

About: About Me: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands‑on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I grew up with a dog for eight years, and as an adult I’ve continued to care for dogs through family, friends, and Rover. My Experience: - Raised and trained my own German Shepherd from puppyhood with both personal training and help from a professional - Cared for my sister’s two dogs - Boarded multiple dogs in my home through Rover - House‑sat for families and watched their dogs - Provided post‑surgery care, including after her spay - Comfortable giving pills or medications - Confident walking large or strong dogs What I Offer: I love getting outside, playing, going for walks, and making sure each dog feels happy, safe, and cared for. Whether your dog needs exercise, structure, or just some extra affection, I’m here to help. I am currently in between jobs, so I have plenty of time to care for your dog! I go to the gym in the mornings and early evenings. My days are pretty wide open and flexible. I would love to be able to take your dog outside and go for walks. I want them to feel safe and comfortable around me. If I am sitting at your home, then I want to make sure they are in their normal routine and doing the things they enjoy and need on a daily basis.

Jodi, was great with our boxer Elsie. She clearly loves the fur babies that she gets to take care of. Elsie was with Jodi for daycare for 5 days. She was always happy to jump out of the car and run up the driveway to great Jodi at the door. She was very accommodating with our time schedule. Elsie had lots of play time and enjoyed her afternoon naps on the comfy sofas. We would definitely recommend Jodi to care for your pets.

About: Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 20 years and am a huge animal lover. I have three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds :) I work from home and enjoy talking my dog on walks or out into the backyard during breaks or after work. We spend as much time as we can outside. I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. While he likes to play in little bursts, he does not have puppy energy like he used to and my home wouldn’t be the best for a dog who needs a ton of playtime.

Sydney took our two large dogs so I could concentrate on enjoying the company of my young grandchildren without concern of them being knocked over. We dropped them in the morning and picked up at night. We got pictures of them going on good walks, and Sydney was great about responding to texts. We would definitely have her watch our boys again.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Brighton

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Brighton on Rover is $33.6 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 203 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Brighton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Brighton commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 203 sitters in Brighton, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
