“So imagine the sweetest person in the world and triple it and you will get Julie. My dog is 14, blind, has dementia, and needs to be let out frequently. Basically he needs round the clock eyes on him. Julie not only did an amazing job with him but thanked us for allowing her the time with our dog. She walked him a handful of times per day (which is not easy with a blind dog) and cared for him maybe better than we do. She is an excellent communicator; she gave us updates and sent us multiple photos, making us feel so at ease. You can leave your dog with Julie knowing they are being treated like family. You can tell she really has a true love for dogs. We cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found her, we only wish we found her sooner. We LOVE Julie!”

“I read Matt and Kirsten’s reviews when I needed to board my dog in a pinch, and I thought these reviews may be overstating how wonderful they are. The truth is, they are UNDERSTATING it. I’m not sure nicer, sweeter, more attentive dog sitters exist. They were so true and genuine in their caring of my 2 yr old lab - maybe even more than I am and I’m a pretty crazy dog mom. I felt so at ease on my trip because I knew how happy my hound was and M + K communicated with frequency and love. My dog had THE best time. About: As a child I was never allowed to have a pet. In college my best friend and I adopted a puppy named Wesley. I absolutely LOVE that companionship of having a dog and providing meaningful, loving life for them. I’ve had the opportunity to dog sit for many friends and family. I am looking for opportunities to be around love dogs and help assist others as they are away or in just in need of an extra hand! I currently work 8-4pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility in the schedule. If I know I’m advance that arrangements of Dog sitting I can make my schedule work with that. I adapt to your pets specific needs. If you are currently potty training, or crate training etc. we can make sure to continue that while I am dog sitting.

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs through every stage, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable with dogs with a wide range of personalities, routines, and care needs, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and senior care. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to follow the routine that works best for yours. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved and give you peace of mind while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your dog(s) plenty of attention and keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home, staying in yours, stopping by for a visit, or taking them for a walk, I’ll do my best to follow the schedule they’re already comfortable with. I’m available for weekday and weekend care and can often accommodate morning, daytime, and evening needs. For boarding and house sitting, I’ll make sure we discuss your dog’s normal routine ahead of time — including meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, bedtime, and any special needs, so their days feel as familiar as possible while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. Before caring for a new dog, I like to learn as much as I can about their personality, routine, health needs, temperament, and any behaviors or situations I should be aware of. I’m also happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand so both you and your dog can feel comfortable. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication, more frequent potty breaks, or extra attention. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your dog’s environment safe and secure, and never force an interaction or activity they aren’t comfortable with. When your dog is staying with me, I want them to feel like they’re at home, not at a kennel. I also know how reassuring it is to see that your dog is happy while you’re away. I’ll stay in touch with regular updates and photos, and I’ll always reach out if I have a question or notice anything unusual. My goal is simple: you should feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention.

“Colleen is THE BEST! We left our baby, Tako with her for 15 days and we already had a good feeling after meeting her and visiting her impeccably clean and dog friendly home. We received the MOST wonderful pics every day of our boy playing with the other doggies, enjoying the back yard, the sun room (his favorite I think) and of course cuddling up to Colleen and her husband on the couch and bed. Things we LOVE about Colleen....only small/medium size dogs, great space for doggies to roam and find their favorite spot, great communication and MOST of all, her wonderful manner and love of dogs. We know that she cared for our Tako as if he were her own. Thank YOU Colleen, we will be back again and again and of course recommend you highly to anyone needing your service.”

About: I grew up with 2 sweet Australian Shepards and now I have my own rescue mutt, Rocky! I love giving pets all the attention and care they need to have happy lives. I work part time, have one 10lb terrier mix named Rocky who loves to go on long walks and chew sticks in our little yard. (He also LOVES to play). We do 7/8am wake ups, potty, and breakfast, short walks throughout the day, and then a long walk before and after dinner. Small training sessions in between all of that. I have a partially fenced yard, Rocky usually stays very close to me. But otherwise I keep him on the leash outside. We’ve got a crate for our dog, and space for dog beds other places. I let the dogs have pretty free roam of the apartment (it’s small so it’s easy to keep an eye on them, and we let them come to us for cuddles if they feel like it :)
