About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

“Erika saved the day when she so graciously accepted a last minute booking for my cat and kittens I rescued who recently had spay/neuter surgery. My mom lives 7-8 hours away and was in a bad car accident. It was too soon to leave the kittens overnight with drop-ins. Erika came and stayed with them for two nights so I could be with my mom. She was super kind and put me right at ease. She kept me updated and as hard as it is to believe I didn’t worry about them at all. She even set food out for a family of community cats who have mostly moved in on my back porch. I’d hire her again without any reservations. A bonus, the house was all tidied up when I got home from my long trip.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have a very large very hyper guy currently. I started walking dogs when I was in elementary school and dog sat during Covid. I’ve also owned dogs through every stage of their life, from 8 weeks to 16 years old. I work restaurant hours Thursday through Sunday, 3 to 11. This means I have 3 days completely free and I’m available every morning and afternoon. I can’t do anything in my own home because my dog isn’t very good at making friends, but because of that I am very good with walking and caring for more challenging dogs
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from the day I was born to now! I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year too! I love animals and I love working with them, and hopefully that will become my future career♥️ I take care of my dogs daily and I walk them everyday. I've had dogs with separation anxiety, dementia, dog aggression--you name an issue, I've had a foster dog with it!, My 26 year old daughter is often with us and is wonderful with dogs and helps out quite a bit. She stands in for me if I have to be away. I work from home, so I am always around. We take walks in our neighborhood and I always make sure someone is around when we are boarding a dog We are fenced in and make it a point to be extremely watchful of the dogs in our home. We don’t take our boarding dogs off the leash.

That day sent us so many happy videos of our puppy socializing having fun and adapting to his new friends of all sizes.
