“Nicole was great! I got great photos and updates on my two cats, Luna and Sirius, while my boyfriend and I were away. She was very easy to work with and my cats were in great hands.”

“Vee helped me in a last minute need for a walker. Not only did she take care of Kai but stayed a bit longer and made sure she got a good walk in! Will be using regularly in the future.”

“Allison did a fantastic job watching my two cats. She sent me texts each day with pictures of my cat. She clean-up any messes. I would recommend her to anyone to watch their pets.”

“Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease caring for Jackson & Julius during our daughter’s wedding celebration. I was grateful for the updates and pictures shared. I highly recommend Charlotte and this service.”

“This was my first time using Vinny and I could not be happier. We scheduled two drop in visits, Vinny was on time & sent updates & pics. My dogs absolutely adore him, and I don't know that I've ever felt so comfortable leaving my dogs with anyone. Would definitely recommend & will be booking again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I had a lab and weinerdog when I was little into my teens. We got our pit when I was 11. He's a senior now. And currently I have 2 cats if my own. One of my cats takes a med every night while the other one needs a butt wipe and grooming. I work full time as a para at a school for disabled, and part time ABA therapy for kids with autism. I'm hoping to fit in hours during the weekend and during school holidays. I feed, groom, clean litter boxes, and administer meds to my cats. My male cat is very playful, while my female cat all she wants is to be brushed constantly. Growing up I had a very feister daschound who played a lot, even in her old age. Generally I'm comfortable with whatever your pet might require.
“Adrianna was absolutely fantastic with my 2 dogs! We needed a last minute dog sitter for a weekend trip, and Adrianna was more than willing to work with us. She sent plenty of photos, updates, and even went out of her way to get them new toys! We are definitely using Adrianna in the future for any other trips.”

“Tiffany was great. Our cat has asthma so she needs her daily inhaler, and Tiffany was able to give her session without a problem. She also played with her and gave her pets while she was here. We really appreciate her professionalism and flexibility to show up on short notice. I Will be asking her to make future visits as we have a few more weekend aways.”

About: I have had pets all my life. I have taken care of many family and friends pets while they were away. I have taken the best care of my own pets as well as others and I treat them like my own. Even though I do not have anymore pets, I still love being around all sorts of animals and this will give me the opportunity to still cuddle a cute furry friend. I am currently working as a substitute teacher in Brick and Tom’s River. I am free after school from 2pm until evening time. I am available to take your dog for a walk and play with them. I am available to drop by to feed them and let them out too. For right now I am available to come to your home and take care of your pet. I will treat them with love and care just the way I did for my own and other pets I have taken care of.

About: Hi! I’m Amanda, a nurse and lifelong animal lover who is brand new to Rover and so excited to be here. Caring for others has always been a huge part of who I am, both professionally and personally, and that same level of compassion, patience, and attentiveness carries over into the way I care for pets. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and anxious, or needs a little extra patience and TLC, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a nurse, safety, reliability, and attention to detail are second nature to me. I take caring for pets very seriously, from secure leashes and locked gates to making sure routines, medications, feeding schedules, and special instructions are followed closely. I know how nerve wracking it can feel leaving your pets with someone new, so my goal is to give you peace of mind while giving your pets lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy making time for pet care throughout my week. I work as a nurse, so being dependable, communicative, and attentive comes naturally to me. I’m excited to be starting my journey on Rover and look forward to building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I pay close attention to details like secure leashes, closed gates, feeding instructions, medications, and routines to make sure every pet is safe and cared for. As a nurse and lifelong animal lover, I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone, and I’ll care for them like they’re my own.
“So so relieved with cannolis visit from Rodney! He stopped by the day before to meet him which I appreciated so much considering this was my first time ever using a dog walker. Rodney sent pictures of my happy cannoli boy while I was away and it was really just a breath of fresh air. Will 100% recommend / use Rodney again soon!!”

About: I’ve had multiple pets throughout my life whom I loved and took care of well through all stages of their lives. I’ve worked with dogs on basic commands and cared for my dog that passed from years of cancer. Most of my care was toward my own pets, but I love all animals! I am currently home for the summer, and I have a pretty open schedule to walk, check in on, and pet sit! My schedule is very flexible to work with whatever time I’m needed. I have a fenced in yard with grass, as well as a pool in the backyard. I no longer have any pets of my own, but many toys!
“Jennifer visited our two dogs while I was away. She came on time and stayed longer than needed to. She updated me and my sister during the visit and let me know if there were any issues. Would use Jennifer again if I need another service.”

“Doug did a fantastic job in the drop in visits making sure our dogs were safe, secure and well taken care of. Doug Jayne's service was above and beyond of my expectations and I'm happpy of the services he and his wife provided. I recommend Doug to anyone looking for drop in visits or any of the full services provided for their dogs, cats and furry animals.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brick Township. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
