About: I’m an experienced dog owner - I’ve had my own special needs deaf dog that I’ve taken care of for 3 years since he was a puppy. Sadly he is no longer with me, but that means I can dedicate myself to other peoples fur babies and it gives me a lot of joy to be able to do that again on a part time basis. I have experience with puppies, obedience and behavior modification training (I am not a professional trainer, but I have worked with one and have taught my own dog basic obedience using hand signals), giving medication as necessary, and adaptability at handling anxiety and reactivity (as this was my dog). I’ve learned the body language of dogs a lot more than many other dog owners because of what I went through with my dog and I am happy to help if I can while your pup is in my care. Before getting my dog, I also watched and walked one of my neighbors dogs regularly. I’ve also done in-home dog sitting for some friends on several occasions for days at a time. I love dogs very much and will treat yours like it’s my own! I’m currently in between jobs and looking for recurring care, hence my open availability. For new clients that need one-time care, I am usually available on weekends. I’m currently in an apartment which may not be the most ideal, though it is pet friendly, so it might only be a good option for day sitting smaller dogs. Otherwise, I can come and sit dogs at your residence. I’ll walk your dog every 2-4 hours. I can also take them to parks/dog parks or runs for exercise if you are comfortable with that.

About: Hello my name is Antonio. All my life I have been surrounded by cats and dogs. I love playing with animals and taking them out for long walks. Also, I am able to administer any oral medication or treatment needed for your furry friends!!! I am a middle school special education science teacher, so during the summer I am free. Mondays are my long days but other than that I am pretty much free any day of the week. I treat all animals as if they were my own, and I give them the proper care they deserve. I have a mini fenced in backyard but I may do walks around the block. I am able to provide separation during feedings, and any accommodations that are necessary for your loved one to feel happy and safe.

About: Hi! Thank you for thinking about boarding with us. For 17 years I have taken care of a sensitive, high maintenance Italian Greyhound named Primo. He was my best buddy. We moved together a bunch of times from the city to his final home here in Ocean NJ. He was super sensitive to sound and people. He had a strict diet and didn't get along with all dogs. This didn't stop us from socializing him with other Italian greyhounds and small dogs with NYC Meetups and playdates. When we moved into our house we would try to make it down to dog beach in Asbury. For 10 years, Laura helped care for her parents dog, Gomez (a shepherd mix), when they were away. It was an outside dog and was a bundle of energy, always running circles and plopping down at your feet for pets and excited for walks on the Henry Hudson Bike Trail. Now that Primo and Gomez have passed on, we have found that we still have love to give to furry friends. We'd love to host your best friend and take care of them the way we have cared for our family pets. Laura and I both work full time from home, with Laura only commuting to the office 3-4 times a month. I can walk your dog twice a day or just let them our into the yard. If they prefer to be outside, that is also great. We've lived here for a couple of years and installed a fence for our child, Rami and the late-Primo. The house has exterior security cameras, and a fenced in yard that can be locked. We can offer 2 walks a day in addition to outside yard time. We'll provide plenty of attention and pets as well! Rami is 4 years old and does well with dogs. Because of his age we can only board non-aggressive, small and medium-sized dogs.

About: I have had a multitude of dogs, big and small since I was a younger with different personalities. Currently working from home, doing Rover as a side hustle. I have been loving watching peoples pets as I don’t have any pets in my apartment right now so I love spending time and playing with your animals! You set the rules and I follow them, whatever makes you and your pet comfortable I am happy to do. Also, I'm open to doing a meet and greet prior to taking care of your fur baby if that makes you more comfortable! I work a hybrid job, my schedule is 9-5. However, I can be fully remote if need be! Very flexible work schedule, which allows me to go on long walks if your dog likes an adventure :). I can crate your dog if needed, but if not they are to roam my apartment! If you prefer me to be dog sitting at your home, I will abide by any specifications you give. I’ve never owned a cat, but my partner has one, and I’ve spent more time with cats over the last decade through friends as well! I’m experienced in play based activities if your cat likes that, I’ve walked some cats before; I know not all love ;). I also do some drop ins for some people in my building and mainly focus on cat enrichment. Happy to hop on a call to discuss any questions! As I’m currently working from home and my hybrid schedule is pretty lax I can be away from my laptop whenever it works for me. Makes going out on a walk and playing with your pet(s) super easy. Doing drop ins/boarding also is very easy with my schedule. I live in an apartment in a pet friendly building. All animals are allowed on furniture; if that is something you don’t want your fur babies to be in the habit of I can work with any rules you have. If your dog isn’t good around other dogs I’m happy to take precautions!

The humans (Aiste and Chris) are both warm, welcoming and accommodating - they sent nice updates with photos that put my mind at ease day after day so I could really unwind. They were happy to follow my lead and met me where I was at with communication, and first longer time away jitters. Lincoln the wonder pup (such a love!!!) - he and my JJ had an amazing time together! My kitty loves people and pups and other cats too. Lincoln and he were an amazing match. They made for great companions and I got such a kick out of seeing them getting to know each other and bond. Warmed my heart and allowed me to relax knowing that JJ was on his own holiday with this great new friend! It was such a relief to have lots of companionship from all 3 (2 people + 1 pup) and updates to know all was going well. I was able to truly enjoy some time away!
