Pet care experience

Specializing in Belly Rubs

I am a retired teacher and animal lover. My goal is to spend as much time as possible being surrounded by animals. I have one dog, one cat and a Koi pond. Both of my pets are rescues and the loves of my life. ❤️ My pet care experiences range from kennels to grooming shops and I am currently a part time dog trainer. I also volunteer at local shelters and rescue groups. I am available for pet sitting, playing, walking, feeding, mild grooming and belly rubbing. I have flexible hours and can take care of all of your pet care needs. I live in Brick and can travel up to 15 miles. I would love the opportunity to care for your furry, scaly, or feathery family.

Safety, trust & environment

I follow detailed care instructions provided by the client, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication administration, and behavioral preferences. I keep the home tidy, respect household rules, and ensure pets have clean water, safe spaces, and enrichment. I also provide regular updates with photos and notes so owners feel reassured. My goal is to seamlessly step into the client’s role while they’re away, ensuring their pets feel safe, secure, and well-loved.

Kerri did a great job with our two senior cats. I would not hesitate to book her again.

Great job 5 stars. Kerri is a cat whisperer getting my older cat to come out of hiding.

Kerri was great. Her daily review and pictures allowed us to enjoy our vacation because we knew our fur babies were taken care of.

Kerri is so sweet, thoughtful and caring. We have two very timid cats who warmed up to her quickly. She’s the best!!

We were in a bind when our regular cat sitter had to cancel last minute due to illness, and Kerri stepped in immediately. She was incredibly responsive, reliable, and took full responsibility from the start, which gave us such peace of mind. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she handled everything seamlessly on short notice. Most impressively, our two very timid cats actually came out to greet her — something that almost never happens! We’re so grateful to have found Kerri and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again. Highly recommend!

Schedule

I am available Mon-Fri after 5:00 & have open availability on weekends. I also have holiday availability. Pet care is thoughtfully integrated into my daily and weekly routine to ensure consistency, reliability, and attentive service. I plan my schedule around each pet’s established feeding, walking, medication, and companionship needs, maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible.

It's essential to understand each pet’s routine, temperament, medical needs, and preferences before care begins. I ask about feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, medications, exercise needs, and any behavioral quirks such as anxiety, reactivity, or triggers. Emergency contacts, veterinary information, and home instructions are also important. Additionally, I like to know what the pet enjoys—favorite toys, games, and comfort habits—so I can create a positive, familiar experience for them.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
