WEEKDAYS: (accepting cats only) ● 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. ● Half-hour visits only: 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m., OR 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m., OR 1:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m., OR 1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. ● 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. WEEKENDS: (accepting dogs and cats) ● 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. THE LAST POSSIBLE VISIT ON ANY GIVEN DAY MUST END AT 10:00 P.M. Afternoon weekday visits must be thirty-minute visits and are subject to a grace period of thirty to forty-five minutes after the start time that is specified in the booking. Otherwise, my normal grace period is ten to twenty minutes. My full-time job is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. I am usually available, without any restrictions on afternoon visits, for 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the holidays off that my full-time job gives me: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, and Christmas Day. If your booking is a mix of dogs and cats, then the base rate used is for dogs and all cats would be charged as additional cats (+$6 per additional cat). This will require you to accept a modification to your booking request. IF YOU NEED WALKS VS. DROP-INS: Please confirm how much time you expect me to walk your dog(s) during each visit. The rates for drop-ins and walks are different based on how much walking you require. • Drop-ins focus on “routine care” (water, food, potty/litter scooping, playtime and exercise, medications if needed, safety and wellbeing check, cleaning any accidents, companionship and providing your fur-babies with company, etc.). • Walks do include routine care in addition to the walk. • THE WALK ITSELF IS EITHER THIRTY OR SIXTY MINUTES, both with an additional fifteen minutes for routine care (total of either forty-five minutes or one hour and fifteen minutes). • Drop-ins can include “outings” (a very short walk that is fifteen minutes or less for either potty time, short exercise, or both). I do not consider outings a walk because an outing, which is limited to no more than fifteen minutes, means I can and will take your fur-baby back inside at my discretion (like once potty time is done, if I see no feasible way to avoid people in the neighborhood, etc.). • My reason for this difference in prices: walking a dog for a longer time and often farther away from home creates a larger risk of accidents and injuries compared to occurrences during playtime in a fenced yard or a walk a few yards away from the house. I am also guaranteeing additional time for routine care. Thank you for your understanding of this. ABOUT THE HOLIDAY RATE: My Holiday Rate is charged for only visits on the day of the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day ● The holiday rate applies to only the base rate (not additional pets) and is per visit on ONLY the holiday (not the Rover way where each day in the entire booking is subject to the holiday rate if it happens to include one of these holidays). ● If a booking that includes a holiday is processed through Rover: the booking will need to be modified by me, and you need to accept those modifications prior to services beginning. The rates will change to the standard base rate with a separate line item for an additional $8 (for dogs) or $10 (for cats) per visit on the holiday (because my holiday rate is simply +$8 or +$10 to the normal base rate). CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation fee is 50% of the cancelled visit(s) if you (the client) request the cancellation. If I (the sitter) cancel, then a full refund is issued to you. ● DROP-IN: only if cancelled with three (3) hours or less of notice before the scheduled time. ● WALKS: only if cancelled with forty-eight (48) hours or less of notice before the scheduled time.

PET LIMIT: • No cat limit on any booking, but I accept only indoor-cats or indoor-outdoor cats that will be required to stay inside. • Three dogs for drop-ins (I will not accept drop-ins for households with four or more.) • Two dogs for walks (I will not accept walks for households with three or more.) MEET AND GREETS: Meet and Greets (M&G) are required. M&Gs are complimentary and NOT charged! The only time I would charge would be if you request a trial run, but I’d consider that a drop-in and charge as a drop-in at only the standard, non-holiday base rate. • The very first M&G is always in-person in your home so that I can learn how things work, how supplies are organized, where cleaning supplies and pet essentials are located, etc. • I will require a subsequent in-person one if you adopt a new fur-baby. This is to ensure that the newbie can tolerate me. • I may request a subsequent one if you move to learn the new layout and organization beforehand, but these ones can be done over a video call. COMMUNICATIONS BEFORE SERVICES: ● Ten days prior to the start date: if not done so already, I will confirm emergency contact information, veterinary contact information, and reconfirm in writing that your fur-babies have or do not have a history of biting/aggression. I will also remind you that payment is due no later than four days prior to the first visit if that was not processed yet already. o If you are a new client and do not confirm your emergency contact information, veterinary contact information, and bite/aggression history by no less than seven days prior to the booking start, I will cancel the booking. (The former two are for your baby’s safety, and the latter is for insurance purposes.) ● Four days prior to the start date: I will send a reminder that payment is due at the end of the day. Failure to provide that payment by the end of that day means I will cancel the booking. ● Two days prior to the start date: I will confirm that the dates/times do not need to be changed and review care instructions. COMMUNICATIONS DURING SERVICES: • I will text or start the Rover card upon arrival. • On the last day of every booking, I will include pictures of the areas your fur-babies and I were frequently in to show the state of the areas when I had left them. • If you require crating or securing your fur-baby in a separate room prior to departure, I will include a picture of your fur-babies secured prior to departure. • Unless you specifically state not to call, I will assume you consent to calls for any urgent concerns (i.e., your fur-baby is limping or some other medical issue, found a flea, something in the house broke, etc.). • Each time I leave after a visit, I will take a video of the door locking. • I will text upon departure. • If the booking is through Rover, all of the above will be done through the Rover card and messaging system in the Rover app. SAFETY POLICY ON WALKS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER, SUMMER HEAT, AND SNOWFALL: • If it is raining and/or there is a thunderstorm or lightning storm, I will only take your fur-baby for an outing and come right back inside. I will find alternatives for exercise indoors. • I like to have a thorough discussion for walks or drop-ins that require any outings during the summer (risk of blacktop burns and heatstroke in extreme heat) and snowy days (pet-unfriendly ice melt/salt+snow and ice= chemical burns to paws) to ensure you understand the risks of walks during unideal weather conditions and extreme temperatures. If I do not feel a walk is appropriate based on the weather conditions, I will either request to change it to a drop-in or decline your request. OTHER SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND STANDARDS OF CLEANLINESS: • I am a solo act; I will never bring another person with me during any visit for any reason. I may have someone drive me, but they will either wait outside in the car until I am done or go off to do something else and return to pick me up. • As long as your fur-baby does not show any signs of aggression or fear (hissing, growling, or snapping or swiping at me, runs away from me, etc.), I will always stay close by them and keep them in sight even if they're inside or in a fenced area. • If your fur-baby clearly does not like me being near them or is too shy and hides during almost the entire visit, I will not try to force them to be sociable towards me. I will always find them each visit to ensure they’re okay and in no visible distress. I will also make gradual and slow attempts to show affection and get them used to me. However, I will respect their boundaries and personal comfort levels if my attempts are clearly not welcomed. • For dogs, I always take them to potty as soon as I arrive and again right before I leave. • I do my best to avoid people while on walks even if you state your fur-baby is friendly with strangers, not aggressive, etc. How your fur-baby reacts to strangers around you is different from how your baby will react to strangers around me. If this is simply an outing for a drop-in, I reserve my right to cut the outing short if avoiding people is too difficult. • I also have a basic slip lead in case your fur-baby’s leash breaks. • I assume everyone has cameras in their house, especially if I notice you have a doorbell camera. You do NOT need to disable them while I am in your home. I genuinely do not mind; it’s for your safety and peace of mind while you’re away. • Regarding keys: I try to arrange pick-ups for keys as close to the booking start as possible. My preference is to either have a copy on my person or for you to secure them somewhere (like a lockbox in a shed, etc.). If you require the key to be kept on your property and returned to the secure location after each visit, please let me know; otherwise, I will assume I can take the key with me and put it back in the secure location after the very last visit. • Unless specified otherwise, I clean food and water bowls as needed. I always do my best to ensure your fur-baby’s eating areas are clean. In the event your cleaning supplies run out, or you forget to provide them, or they cannot be located within a timely manner, I bring my own for emergencies. Please let me know if you have any issues with the cleaning products I use: • Dawn dish soap for cleaning your fur-baby’s dishes • Nature’s Miracle Carpet Shampoo • Mr. Clean for other surface types (1/4 all-purpose cleaner with lemon scent, the rest water)

Information Emma T. would like to know about your pet

Before scheduling or during a meet and greet, I'd like to know the following (although not an exhaustive list): if spayed/neutered, health and vaccine status, any limitations or restrictions, off-limit areas in the home, how to enter your home, parking instructions, and veterinary and emergency contacts. **If your fur-baby requires injections, I'd need to be shown/given detailed instructions on how to do it first if it isn't an oral injection. I am physically able to administer non-oral injections, but I've done it only a few times for one diabetic cat in the past.

A typical day

I provide love, food, water, potty-breaks, exercise, and company. I also have full conversations with your fur-babies which (at least in my opinion) is the best part of any visit.

Pet care experience

I am a part-time sitter who operates only in Brick (08723 and 08724) and works mostly with dogs and cats. I accept dogs only on Sundays, Saturdays, and my full-time job's holidays. I still accept cats on weekdays as well as weekends and holidays. Pet-sitting for friends and family since 2018 and officially on Rover since June 2024. I am happily owned by two Jack Russell terriers. 💕 I used to work at a vet's office as a receptionist for a brief time shortly before getting into my current career in insurance. I also used to volunteer for a dog rescue group, alongside my mom and aunt, when I was in middle school and high school. I've had dogs all my life (mostly breeds under 25 lbs., many rescues from horrible backgrounds, etc.), I've cared for my husband's grumpy Jack Russell since she was four years old (now eleven), and I've survived a teething Jack Russell puppy of my own (rescued him when he was three months old). Both of my Jacks are featured on my Rover profile. I've also had my Westie from six months old until kidney failure got the best of her at fourteen years old. My Westie was a champ getting through the many vet appointments and the dietary changes to prescription food. Rest in peace, Wendy (6/21/2007-11/19/2021)… 💞 Additional services may be subject to an additional charge depending on the level of care and/or how much extra time this adds to a visit. • If you have any other pets like fish, rabbits, birds, lizards, or snakes, it is my discretion to accept; if I do, it is a minimum extra $2 per visit and up to $15. • I will NOT accept livestock and farm animals like chickens and horses. • "Add-ons" (anything not necessarily related to pet-care) may be charged an extra $3 per occurrence in one day (watering flowers, etc.). • Checking mail/bringing packages inside is NOT considered an "add-on," but I will NOT drive to another location off your property for any mail or packages at the post office, UPS store, etc. • Bathing/grooming (+$10) is charged only if needed due to an accident during the visit that is beyond my control, could not have been reasonably foreseen by me, and is entirely the result of your pet’s disobedience; this is not a separate service that can be requested.
